12 Stake Out - My Sister the Vampire (17 page)

Olivia: I
wasn’t shuddering at
that
– I was disgusted at the thought of anyone wearing garlic as an accessory. What
would
it go with?

Ivy:
[laughs] Your priorities will always be a mystery to me.

Georgia:
You mentioned a film deal for Holly’s dad. Staying with movies for the moment, I hear that the Hollywood strikes are over, which means . . .

Olivia:
I know, I know!

Georgia:
Is
Eternal
Sunset
back on track?

Olivia:
I think it’s . . . Oh, gosh, I don’t know if I’m allowed to say.

Ivy:
Oh my darkness, how many times? VAMP magazine –

Olivia:

knows how to keep a secret
. OK, OK. Since it’s you guys, I guess there’s no harm in telling. We’re about to start filming soon.

Ivy:
Tell her the best part.

Olivia:
We get to shoot it in some great cities, all over the world! New York, Prague,
London

Ivy:
No, not that. The
real
best part.

Olivia:
I don’t know what you mean.

Ivy:
Oh, sis – if you’re going to become a Hollywood megastar, you will
have
to give more convincing performances than
that
.

Georgia:
What’s the best part?

Ivy:
We’ve seen the shooting schedule – Olivia and Jackson get to spend almost every day together for the entire production!

Georgia:
Now
who’s blushing?

Olivia:
Stop it, both of you.

Georgia:
I just knew this story wasn’t over!

Ivy:
Although, Olivia, you must make sure he knows . . .

Olivia:
Knows what?

Ivy:
That, if he makes you cry again, he will have
me
to deal with.

Olivia:
I can take care of myself.

Ivy:
I know you can – but that doesn’t mean I won’t just take care of you anyway.

Olivia:
It’s all going to be fine. I think we’ll be too busy working to create any off-camera drama.

Georgia:
I can see that Ivy doesn’t quite believe you.

Ivy:
I think those two will always create drama. They are actors, after all!

Olivia:
I guess we’ll just have to wait and see, won’t we?

Ivy:
I guess we will.
