Her eyes widened at his use of her name.

“Yes,” he acknowledged, knowing what she was asking. “I used your name, so there won’t be any mistaking who is with me. Who I
know
is with me. Reulas was right, damn him. You’re exactly what I needed. Need,” he corrected.

”He was right about me, too.” She sighed, pleasurable warmth coursing through her. “If it’s Dealer’s Choice, I choose you.”

“Good.” He gave her a soft kiss. “We’ll set our own rules this weekend, and see how it goes. But make no mistake. I don’t intend to let you get away.”

“Does that mean you get to be the dealer now?”

“When I choose. Sometimes, though, I’ll want you to deal the cards. We’ll have a long time to get that right. Does that work for you?”

“Yes, Master.” She grinned. “Yes, Cade. It works just fine.”
