Chapter 1

As
I
watched
the
tow
truck
pull
away
with
my
totally
destroyed
Lexus
truck
I
was
pissed.
Still,
I
couldn't
help
but
ponder
how
blessed
I
was
to
be
alive.
That
damn
deer
came
from
nowhere
and
stood
in
front
of
my
vehicle
like
a
five
hundred
pound
marble
statue.
There
was
nowhere
to
go
and
nothing
that
I
could
do
but
hit
him.
