Chapter 2

Javon arrived at Bloodlust, a local Vampire bar, after the kiss with Abby. That kiss was amazing and he couldn't stop thinking about it. He had to stop the kiss prematurely, as he feared his fangs would pop out. Her scent was just so intoxicating. The taste of her was like nothing he had
ever experienced in the centuries
since he was made a Vampire, and he wanted to be near her so badly. It had taken everything he had to pull away. He headed directly to the Vampire feeding section where there were men and women he could feed from.

Javon walked over toward the bar and ordered a drink and carried it over to the private feeding area.

He looked up and saw Enri approaching, Enri had been a friend of Sally’s when he had been made Vampire and was now one of his best friends.

“Javon, you come to get fed?”

“Yeah; a Vampire’s gotta eat.”

Enri laughed. “Indeed. How is Sally? I haven’t seen her in a while.”

“As motherly as ever; I think she needs a mate so she’ll stop trying to baby me.”

Javon sat and watched a skinny brunette approach.

“I am Brittany. How can I serve you tonight?”

“No; I want the blonde over there.”

Javon pointed to the other side of the room where a more robust woman with long blonde straight hair was walking toward the employee lounge.

“That’s Haley. I’ll see if she is available. Are you sure you’re not extra hungry? Two’s better than one,” she said in a flirty tone.

“No; I want Haley,” Javon replied stiffly. “But thank you,” he said, suddenly realizing how harsh he sounded. He hated how he couldn’t stop thinking about Abby and now he was being an asshole at complete strangers because of it.

“Whatever you want.” The brunette scowled and walked away. She disappeared through the employee lounge. Moments later, Haley walked over to Javon’s table.

“Hi, I’m Haley. You asked for me?”

“Yes. Please; sit?”

She nodded and sat down and crossed her legs. She wore a fitted red dress that had a slit up the side to her thigh. “I can provide full service if you wish.”

“I want to feed and nothing else. Did you want to drink first or are you ready?”

“Let’s drink and talk.” Haley nodded and they both ordered a drink. Haley ordered a wine and Javon a bourbon. He took a drink and looked at her blonde hair. It vaguely reminded him of Abby and he hoped she would help curb his craving for her. “I’m ready now.”

“Come with me.”

The blonde led Javon toward one of the many private rooms. They were small; just large enough for a love seat, an end table, and a flat screen TV on the wall. As they entered the room, Javon turned down the music. Haley moved her hair to the side, giving him access. His fangs came out immediately. He ached to be fed, but he wasn’t ready yet; he wanted to play with his food. He leaned over her and kissed her. She responded immediately and kissed him back.

Javon felt his mouth watering with hunger he could smell her blood it was calling to him. He pierced her neck she gasped then relaxed as the pleasure hit her. Javon drank from her, though he didn’t enjoy the warm liquid going down his throat as he usually had. The woman moaned as he fed from her. Javon pulled his fangs out and licked the wound, sealing it. It did little to ease his bloodlust. He wanted Abby. All he could think about was the fact that tomorrow he would have her.

Chapter 3

“Javon, you're home early,” Sally, Javon's Sire and best friend, said excitedly.

Javon had just arrived at his West Bloomfield Hills home, a well-to-do area just outside of Detroit. He had a very large home by one of the many lakes in the area. Being a Vampire for so long had its advantages. He’d had a very long time to acquire his wealth.

Sally was an ancient Vampire compared to Javon, born around 52 BCE. She claimed not to remember the exact date, but Javon had it narrowed down. She had dark skin, shoulder length black hair, big brown eyes, and a tall slender figure. She was wearing a long blue silk dress and black high heels. Javon noticed a little blood on the corner of her lips.

“Missed a spot,” he said, wiping off the bit of blood.

“Oh, thanks. I tend to get sloppy when I feed,” Sally joked.

“I’m surprised your home already. I thought you would be out on the town.”

Javon didn't really feel like discussing Abby. The thought of her scent and the way he kissed her would likely distract him and he had other more pressing issues to discuss with her tonight.

“Maurice found me tonight.”

“Are you sure it was him? He hasn’t been seen in over one hundred years.”

“I was at a bar tonight having a drink, when I saw him staring right at me. He didn’t look too happy to see me.”

“Did he approach you?”

“He left right after he spotted me.”

“Perhaps he will just leave town. But I will still let the Council know he has been spotted. Don’t worry until we have something to worry about; there is nothing more we can do for now.”

Sally stared at Javon, suddenly noticing a change.

“You smell like a Human. Have you had relations with a female?”

“No; I just fed recently.”

“Are you sure? I can smell the feed, but there is more to what I sense from you.”

“Can't you keep your nose to yourself?” Javon said, not in the mood for her probing.

“Don't get upset. I'm just curious.”

“Sorry, it's alright. If you must know, I met someone, we kissed, and I’m going to see her again tomorrow,” Javon replied. He hoped he had kept it short and to the point so as to negate further questioning.

“Perhaps she will be your Eternal Mate. It would be nice if one of us got a mate eventually. So boring, just the two of us. I pretty much have lost hope it will ever happen to me. Maybe we should change someone so we have a new child to look after.”

“I think after the blunder I made with Maurice, I should forget ever changing anyone again.” Javon remembered when he changed Maurice. He thought he was doing a good thing. Just like sally saved him; he saved Maurice.
Things don’t always turn out the way we hope
, he thought.

“I’m going to retire to my room; the sun will be up soon. You may join me, if you like.” Sally secretly missed Javon spending the night with her. She thought of him like her child. She thought the possibility of finding an Eternal Mate for herself was slim, and without an Eternal Mate she would never have a child of her own.

“Not tonight,” Javon replied dryly.

“You used to sleep with me often, Javon. I miss it.”

“I'm not the young one I used to be. I'm not afraid anymore.”

“I know. It was just nice to feel wanted,” Sally replied sadly.

“You know things have changed. You can't treat me like a child anymore.”

“Well, goodnight then.” Sally gave Javon a kiss on the cheek and left for her room.

“I will see you tomorrow evening.”

As Javon watched Sally walk away, he couldn't help but feel bad. She really needed more to occupy her mind. He knew Sally needed to feel wanted and useful. She had a maternal instinct, which wanted out.

Javon, still thinking about Abby, walked to his room. The furnishings in his room were masculine with accents of dark wood, and a huge king size bed. His bedding had a pattern of amber, brown, and red on it, which Sally had picked out. He didn't really care for decorating. He had special black-out shades on a timer to keep out the sun. He stripped out of his clothes, sleeping only in his boxers.

As the sun came up, Javon fell asleep, resting for the day in his darkened room.

Chapter 4

Abby arrived home to her two-bedroom apartment in Wyandotte, a suburb of Detroit. Her apartment wasn't fancy, by any means, but it was nicely decorated with neutral colors accented with violet—her favorite color.

Abby put on her nightgown and started to get ready for bed. She couldn't help but think about the kiss she shared with Javon. She was thinking about how she would pick up where they had left off the next time they saw each other. She hadn’t had a date in a while and was excited. She couldn’t believe it was already 3:00 a.m. She crawled into bed and quickly fell asleep.

Abby sat up in her bed. She heard a noise and a shadowy figure approached. She was frozen with fear. As the figure approached, she could finally see it was Javon.

“Javon, what are you doing here? Why are you in my room?”

“I want you, beautiful girl,” Javon replied with lust in his eyes.

Javon pulled off his shirt. He walked toward her and she watched his muscles in the moonlight coming in from the window. As soon as he reached her, he took off the rest of his clothes and she gasped as she finally took in the sight of his fully nude and fully erect cock.

He practically ripped her nightgown off of her as soon he reached her. His lips met hers. He kissed her hungrily; parting her lips, he tasted her with his tongue. She moaned while kissing him back. She wouldn’t normally ever do anything like this but something about Javon made her throw caution to the wind and just go with it. Javon’s hands caressed her generous breasts. He teased her erect nipples. Abby moaned again in response as he lay with her on the bed.

“That feels so good.”

“Oh, Abby, I need you. Please say you need me, too?”

“Oh yes; more than anything,” she replied. His hard bulge pressed up against her belly. It was dark and she gripped his cock and almost squealed with delight at his generous size. Abby could feel the wetness puddle in her panties while she stroked him. Javon positioned her on top of him.

“Ride me; please, Beautiful.”

Abby was normally a little shy but she was so turned on, all she wanted was to feel him inside her. She lowered herself on him slowly. His cock felt so good. She gave her pussy a moment to stretch to his size. She moved over him, rocking slowly. She moaned and her breasts swayed as she moved a little faster. Javon sat up and took a nipple into his mouth, sucking and teasing as she continued to ride him. Abby moaned and called out his name, the pleasure so intense and unlike anything she had ever felt.

“Oh, Javon. Fucking yes!” She screamed as she felt her body giving into the consuming fire she felt through her body. Her orgasm enveloped her body and her pussy contracted around his cock until she had nothing left.

Abby awoke, sweating, and felt the wetness in her panties. She was breathing so hard. It was five in the morning and she just had the most erotic dream of her life. In fact, that was the one and only time she could ever remember having a dream like that. She turned on her bedside lamp and walked over to the bathroom. She needed to wash the sweat off her face if she was ever to fall back asleep. The cold water hit her face and she yelped, even though she knew it was coming. She grabbed a book off her bookshelf and decided a book might help her fall back asleep. She never even made it past the first chapter before sleep claimed her once again, but without a single dream.

Chapter 5

Maurice walked into the house he called home. It was an abandoned house in Cass Corridor, one of Detroit's most dangerous neighborhoods. The outside of the house had peeling brown paint and the porch was almost falling apart from the house. The inside wasn’t much better; the walls were once white and not a yellowish color with a stale scent that lingered from years of someone smoking inside. He had Brian empty most of the trash into the back yard. The living room now had a couch and an old box TV and that was the only things he wanted to keep.

The neighborhood was one most people didn’t move to unless you were out of options. The only plus side to such a shitty neighborhood was most people kept to themselves and didn’t want to get involved in anyone’s business. He knew there were drug dealers on the street. They rode up and down on bikes until they were stopped by cars for a quick buy.

He took over the house several months ago. The previous tenant, an overweight drunk, made a very good meal before dying.

Maurice walked over and sat on the couch. He thought about what he had seen. He watched Javon for months and that was the one and only time he had shown any interest in a woman. He watched him visit the Vampire bar for donors and sometimes sex, but to sit and flirt like he did was completely out of the ordinary for him. He watched from the shadows as they kissed on the street and parted ways, though he knew that wouldn’t be the end of it. This was the first indication that Javon had someone in his life that mattered and now Maurice had his chance for revenge.

He had been searching for Javon for a century and finally found him. Being a Vampire had made him a patient man, but now was the time Javon would regret the day he made him a Vampire.

“Brian!” yelled Maurice. Brian was Maurice's Vampire pet. He lived with Maurice and let him feed from him and did whatever Maurice asked of him. He ran out from one of the back bedrooms, his hair looking all disheveled. Apparently he had been sleeping.

“Yes Maurice, how can I be of service?” Brian replied obediently. Brian was a good looking man. He had brown hair and a full beard which he kept neatly trimmed. He was an average height of six feet and normally wore jeans and fitted t-shirts.

“I need you to follow my friend, Javon, when he rises for the evening. I want a report on everything he does, especially who he is with.”

“Master, you promised that we could talk about my turning. I have done everything you asked of me. I want to be strong and powerful like you.”

Maurice did promise but he had no intention of turning anyone. He had to get him to drop it, at least until he could get the situation with Javon resolved. Maurice chose Brian carefully for his servant. He was good looking so he could lure unsuspecting women back for a feeding play time, and he was also able to be charming and convincing when needed. He had a family, which presented an obstacle. But Maurice was convincing and Brian left his family, and now he did whatever he was asked to do in hopes of being a Vampire someday.

“Brian, when I found you I knew you would be my companion. You have always done as I asked and one day you will be rewarded.”

“I am ready. I know I can serve you even better as a Vampire.”

“That may be true but the process isn’t easy and I need you at your peak, not suffering from bloodlust. Once the problem with my friend, Javon, is resolved, we can talk about it. I promise.”

Brian’s face fell and his happy demeanor turned to disappointment. Maurice could tell he wouldn’t be able to hold Brian off much longer. He decided the next time he would have to kill him. It was a shame because Brian had been the most loyal servant he had ever had and Maurice would miss him. But there would be nothing he could do.

“I won't fail you, Master,” Brian replied.

“Thank you, Brian. I need to be fed; could you run out and get some dinner?”

“Of course; it would be my pleasure. Will it just be dinner or entertainment as well?”

“Just food. I will text you the address where you can find Javon.”

Brian nodded and left out the door. Maurice stood up and walked over to a cabinet. In it was a false bottom. He pulled it out and in it was a small painted portrait. It was his beloved Mary; the only thing he had left from a time so long ago. The only time in his life when he was truly happy.
