“Mmm.” Mera pressed the tip of her tongue into the underside of his glans and hummed.

There were tears in his eyes. “Please.”

As his body whipped him up to the summit for another fall, she used her strength to shove harder with the dildo. It started to go in, but didn’t quite pop past the muscle. Trett felt a flash of unfamiliar pain and jolted.

“No more.” Although he liked the threat of penetration—the unfamiliar feel of it along the exterior—he definitely didn’t care for this new sensation.

Sucking more gently, she immediately backed off and pulled the head out a tiny bit to ease him. The pain faded, but the pressure remained—pressure that climbed up his shaft and blasted out of him in another ball-numbing ejaculation. He didn’t have enough of a voice left to scream.

Impossibly, Trett’s erection kept going strong, trembling with unwavering greed. He thought this would be the last one, but he was no longer sure. Mera had him crazed and out of his mind, exactly the state he’d reduced her to earlier. This release made all the others seem like lightweights, causing tears of bliss to tumble down his cheeks even as he fought to watch her beautiful face as she took him.

Just when he thought he’d reached the breaking point, she triggered the vibrator function and sent shockwaves of pleasure bombarding him from back to front. His climax instantly doubled up on him so that he was crying and coming and flailing around like he’d been electrocuted. She held his tortured penis in her mouth like she’d keep it safe there and left the vibrator on until he was completely empty. He let out a sob, but was too shaken to care.

When she at last turned off the dildo and cast it aside, Trett collapsed onto the bed. Her arms gathered him up and settled him so that his head was pillowed against her breast. She ran her gentle fingers through his hair.

“You are a vengeful creature,” he murmured.

“Just remember that in the future.” Her breasts jiggled as she started to laugh. “Rectum,” she added, “I damn near…”

“Don’t!”

She just kept giggling.

Forced to take action, Trett ended the evening with a tickle fight.

Chapter Ten

Like a Glove

The next day, Mera had lots more fun with that little toy before she and Trett finally managed to drag themselves out of the house. They went to a small neighborhood restaurant for dinner and walked around hand in hand just enjoying the night. When they got back, they curled up together on the sofa and watched corny old movies until they fell asleep in each other’s arms. It was the perfect weekend.

Unfortunately, the following day was the start of a new work week, so they only enjoyed a quick breakfast together before Trett headed out. Since Mera had her early morning free, she got ready more slowly. She should have felt awkward hanging out in Trett’s house without him, but she didn’t. Although she liked her cozy little apartment, the larger space appealed to her, and she found the quieter atmosphere soothing. She’d never pictured herself living in the suburbs before. Now she thought maybe she’d like it.

After she showered and dressed, she tagged Xindra on the nearest vid screen. Mera chuckled when she saw her Allurian friend’s tousled image onscreen. Quinn was probably slumped somewhere on the bed behind her.

“Well, somebody’s getting her workout in early,” Mera said. “Is your husband still alive, or did you give him a heart attack?”

Xindra looked amused. “One word for you: newlyweds. And Quinn doesn’t know the meaning of the word ‘overexertion.’ You should be more worried about me.”

“Well, that goofy grin of yours is rather disturbing, but I don’t think I’ll worry just yet. Besides, there’s no such thing as death by orgasm.” Although gods knew she and Trett had given it a try. “What’s your schedule like? I was thinking we could grab a late lunch today.”

“That sounds good,” Xindra agreed. “I was hoping to talk to you before tomorrow night anyhow. Want to hit Leanman’s Deli? They’re running a special.”

“I could use the protein.” Mera had half-forgotten she was due to model for tomorrow night’s class. She wanted to talk to Xindra about that too.

After they settled on a meeting time, they disconnected. Wandering back into the bedroom, Mera eyed the rumpled sheets and bit her lip. Did she really want to display what she and Trett had together in front of a class full of people? Then again, when you had something so great, weren’t you supposed to show it off? She certainly wasn’t modest when it came to public sex, so she wasn’t sure what was niggling at her. Hopefully she’d figure it out before tomorrow.

Picking up the overnight bag she’d brought with her, she headed out the door and caught the tram to the business district. Over the next several hours, she counted the minutes until she was done with her data input for the day and could head to lunch. She arrived at the deli to find Xindra already there waiting for her.

“I hardly recognized you,” Mera joked. “You’re vertical.”

Xindra laughed. “For your information, being vertical hasn’t hindered us any. Different positions mean different blood flow.”

“Yes, sensei.”

They ordered a sandwich and salad and sat down at one of the small metal tables near the front window. The food had always been good here, but Mera felt like everything tasted even better today. It was all she could do not to moan as she dug in.

“How are you feeling about tomorrow night?” Xindra asked the question gently once they’d put a large dent in their food. “Are you still okay to do this?”

Mera hesitated for a moment. “I’m still fine with modeling, but I’m not so sure about the touching anymore.”

Xindra waved her hand dismissively. “Your friends already gave us a demonstration of Oquaran anatomy last week. No offense, but we don’t need another round of that. It was all I could do to keep a professional expression and not goggle when Ebby kept coming. Quinn and I went home and banged our brains out half the night.”

Mera snickered.

“If it’s all right with you,” her friend continued, “we’d rather address the difficulties Oquarans face when they try to mate outside their race. The rest of the focus will be on the Ibration male. You do want Trett to model with you, right?”

“Yes. I wouldn’t want to do it with anyone else. I’m comfortable with him.”

Xindra’s eyes glimmered. “You really like him, don’t you?”

Mera knew her slow smile gave her away, but she bit her lip.

“I see,” her friend said happily. “Does this mean we might get the full show tomorrow?”

Again, Mera hesitated. “I’m not sure. Part of me wants to say, ‘Yes, of course,’ but then there’s this other part that makes me hold back. Trett and I experimented this weekend to see if sex will work between us—anatomically, I mean—and we’re pretty sure it’ll be okay. We just haven’t tried it yet. I think he wanted to yesterday, but he must have noticed the look on my face.”

“But you want to have sex with him, right?” Xindra asked.

“Oh, yeah.”

“Are you worried it’ll hurt?”

Mera blew out a frustrated breath. “That was it in the beginning, but now I’m not sure if that’s what has me spooked. I…I love him.” The words felt so good. And so frightening. “I’m in love with him, and I think he loves me, but neither of us has said it yet. I didn’t even think I could fall so hard, especially in such a short time. Although I doubt there will be any pain for me, I also know I’ll never be the same after I make love with him. How can I experience that for the first time in front of a crowd?”

“If that’s how you feel, then you shouldn’t.” Xindra gazed at her in quiet understanding. “I’ve learned a lot about different kinds of people since starting this course, but there’s one thing I didn’t need research to teach me. Everybody is different. You need to do what’s comfortable for you. Don’t let me or Trett or anybody else rush you into something you’re not ready for, but don’t let fear keep you from what you really want either.”

That was exactly what Mera needed to hear. She smiled in gratitude.

“There’s still tonight,” she pointed out. “I could always invite Trett over to my place for dinner and see what happens.”

Xindra cocked one eyebrow in amusement. “Now who’s wearing the goofy grin?”

It stayed pasted to Mera’s face even as she took a few bites to polish off her meal.

* * * *

It was Trett’s turn to pick up dinner when he headed over to Mera’s place after work. With all the food and sex they’d enjoyed together, you’d think that was all that occupied him. But it was something different entirely that filled his mind as he entered her building.

All day long, he’d thought about the two of them snuggled up together on his couch. He was a healthy male, and they’d enjoyed unbelievably good sex, yet it was that freeze-frame image that warmed him from the inside out. Mera just fit—in his arms, in his home, in his life. The only thing they hadn’t tested yet was the fit of their bodies, but he felt confident that would soon follow.

Trett was in love with her. For some time now, he’d felt himself falling into that marvelous emotion, but now he knew he was there. He loved Mera, and he planned to tell her as soon as the moment was right.

“Delivery boy,” he announced when she opened her door for him.

“Oh, I love delivery boys. Come on in here where I can molest you.”

He laughed as she kissed him hello and closed up after him. Her small kitchen table was already set, so he carried the takeout over there. To his pleasant surprise, she seemed to be going for something more romantic tonight. There were no candles or linen, but she’d put out a small display of flare crystals as a centerpiece, and there was soft, jazzy music playing quietly on surround sound.

“Is this the album you bought from that club band the other night?” He sat down and dished out their plates.

She finished pouring the wine. “Yes. I haven’t heard the whole thing yet, but I like the warm, moody feel of it. I thought it would be nice background music for dinner.”

He nodded and watched her take her first bite before he started on his own plate. “I like it.”

“Good.” After a moment, she got a mischievous twinkle in her eye. “What do you think? Should I follow the whole script? I can go all domestic and ask, ‘How was your day? How was work?’”

“You’re too wild to be domesticated,” he teased her. “And to answer your question, my workday was pleasant, but routine.” He took another bite and studied her more closely. “Were you really just playing the part, or did you want to know?”

She appeared to consider the question seriously. “Actually, I did want to know. I find I’m curious about what you do when I’m not with you. You seem to occupy a great deal of my thoughts these days.”

“It’s the same with me. Does that bother you?”

The gleam in her eye said it didn’t.

“What about you?” he asked after another few bites. “What did you do today?”

She gave him a quick run-down of her seasonal job and other errands. “I also got together with Xindra for lunch. She wanted to make sure everything was set for tomorrow night. I think she was worried I’d back out.”

“Do you want to back out?” He asked the question carefully.

Trett felt a certain amount of titillation when he thought about posing in front of the class—sort of a kinky twist on those childhood dreams about showing up at school naked. Still, he didn’t want her feeling pressured.

“No,” she assured him. “I just need to do one thing before then.”

Relaxed again, he glanced back down at his plate and lifted his fork for another big bite. “What’s that?”

“Seduce you.”

He nearly choked himself. It took a large gulp of wine and lots of sputtering before he recovered.

Mera laughed.

“Seduce me, huh?” His mouth broke into a grin. What man wouldn’t want to hear that from his woman? “I’d like to see that. It probably won’t be much of a seduction, though. I’m kind of a sure thing with you.”

“Are you?”

“After all we’ve done together? Of course.”

“We haven’t made love yet,” she pointed out.

He stilled. “You mean…?”

“Your body in mine,” she finished for him. “I want that. I want you to make love to me. Here. Tonight. I…”

“What?” Trett felt like he was holding his breath. He saw such passion in her that he had to know the rest.

She drew back her shoulders, and despite her vulnerability in that moment, he could almost see her as a warrior princess of old. “I love you.”

His heart stuttered and swelled until he thought it would burst.

Trett didn’t say a word. He just stood up, strode over to her side of the table, and lifted her into his arms. Ignoring her yip of surprise, he carried her the short distance to her bedroom and laid her beneath him on the mattress. His body wound up pressed along the full length of hers. With a steady hand, he reached up to stroke her hair and looked deeply into her eyes.

“I love you too, Mera. I feel like I’ve been waiting my whole life to make love to you.”

Then he kissed her deeply, breathing his soul into the caress.

*

Mera felt like a sparkling meteor soaring across the night sky. Just the touch of his lips against hers, and she knew everything was going to be all right. The two of them—what they had together—was going to be better than all right.

Wrapping her arms around him, she let herself absorb the moment: his clean scent, the firm press of his lips, and the quiet hum of satisfaction in the back of his throat. They didn’t rush. Their long, leisurely kisses were only occasionally interrupted when they discarded their clothes or bent to explore newly exposed skin. By the time they were naked and he had her nipple between his teeth, Mera was sighing almost continuously.

The way he handled her made her feel incredibly sexy. He stroked her thigh and the back of her knee and used his wicked tongue to bring her delight. She couldn’t get enough of his lean muscles flexing beneath his skin. Each knew the other’s weaknesses and exploited them for pleasure.

At last, Trett piled up the pillows near the head of the bed and sat with his back to them. Straddling his lap, Mera glanced down to observe his rigid shaft and heavy, virile balls. The head of his penis looked flushed and shiny, and she could see precum oozing out of the tip. Her folds were just as damp.
