"We
don't
need
all
of
these.

I'm
only
taking
one
test.

If
it's
positive
it's
positive."

"And
if
it's
not?"

"Then
I
guess
I'm
not
and
then
both
of
us
can
get
on
with
our
lives."

"Okay
let's
do
it."

Jaydan
heads
towards
the
bathroom.

Paul
follows
close
behind.

"Where
are
you
going?"

"With
you."

"Oh
hell
no
you're
not."

"It's
nothing
I
haven't
seen
before."

"Well
you
won't
see
it
again.

Forget
this.

I'm
out
of
here."

"Jaydan,
come
on
we
need
to
do
this."

Jaydan
hesitates
and
then
confesses.

"No
we
don't.

I
came
on
my
period
last
week."

Paul
sighed
a
big
breath
of
relief.

"So,
you're
not
pregnant?"

"No,
I'm
not."

"Thank
God!"

Paul
sighed
a
big
breath
of
relief
as
he
hugged
Jaydan
and
swung
her
around
like
a
rag
doll.

"Put
me
down."
Jaydan
fussed.

"I'm
sorry.

I
was
just
so...
I'm
sorry.

"It's
okay.

Well,
I
guess
I'd
better
go."

"So,
are
we
good?

I
mean
we're
still
friends
right?"

"Sure,
we're
still
friends.

Of
course.

Look,
I
gotta
go."

Jaydan
replied
a
little
embarrassed
and
afraid
of
being
confronted
with
her
web
of
lies.

"Are
you
sure
you're
okay
to
drive?

You
had
three
glasses
of
wine..."

"Yes,
I'm
fine."
Jaydan
assured
him.

"Okay.

Well,
I'll
walk
you
out."
Paul
said
as
he
followed
her
to
the
door.

"So
what's
up
with
your
new
teammate
Logic?

He

s
kind
of
cute."

Paul
laughs,
"I
don't
know.

Ask
him.

He's
definitely
single
and
soon
to
be
a
very
rich
man."

"Really?

I
guess
I'll
see
what's
up
then."

"Yeah
you
do
that,"

Paul
smiled.

CHAPTER 16

Over
the
next
few
weeks
every
whore
on
campus
continued
to
try
Queen's
patience
and
her
relationship
with
Paul.

Apparently,
the
FDC
bitch
brigade
just
didn't
read
the
memo
that
he
was
unavailable.

The
problem
she
discovered
was
that
Paul
was
too
damn
accommodating
and
nice.

He
found
it
too
difficult
to
just
let
them
know
that
they
were
never
going
to
get
any.

His
broad
smile
and
humble
southern
charm
always
left
a
window
of
hope
for
even
the
homeliest
turd
to
think
she
had
a
shot.

And
every
hoochie
with
a
koochie
including
Poochie
continued
to
harbor
a
slither
of
hope
that
one
day
they
would
dethrone
his
Queen.

Nonetheless,
as
long
as
they
stayed
out
of
her
face
Queen
really
didn't
care.

Unfortunately,
there
is
always
one
trick
ass,
lay
on
her
back
and
do
anything
for
a
dick,
bitch
who
thinks
the
rules
do
not
apply
to
her.

In
this
case
that
would
be
Zoey
Chandler.

Since
the
moment
they
met
Zoey's
one
and
only
priority
and
passion
in
life
was
to
make
Queen's
life
a
living
breathing,
merciless
hell.

Under
normal
circumstances
Queen
would
have
smacked
her
ass
by
now.

But
this
was
no
normal
situation.

Queen
was
in
her
last
year
of
Pre
Med
and
had
applied
to
several
prominent
Medical
Schools.

Schools
which
would
not
be
impressed
with
a
recent
criminal
charge
of
assault
with
the
intent
to
murder
a
bitch
even
if
she
desperately
deserved
it.

So,
Zoey
was
safe,
at
least
for
now,
as
long
as
she
posed
no
physical
threat.

Sick
of
all
the
drama,
Queen
dug
in
and
decided
to
just
grin
and
bear
it.

She
knew
sooner
or
later
Zoey
would
cross
the
line
and
meet
her
on
the
wrong
side
of
a
good
old
fashioned
ghetto
ass
whipping.

Now,
although
Zoey
had
a
whole
lot
of
mouth,
she
had
the
common
sense
to
stay
far
enough
away
from
Queen
to
keep
from
getting
slapped
in
it.

Thank
God,
the
semester
was
flying
by
quickly.

With
all
the
excitement
of
the
past
few
weeks
Queen
had
completely
forgot
she
had
a
research
paper
due.

For
the
first
time
in
weeks
she
was
forced
to
think
about
something
other
than
this
madness.

Actually,
this
paper
was
just
what
she
needed
to
get
her
refocused
and
to
return
a
hint
of
normalcy
back
into
her
life.

Everything
had
been
absolutely
bananas
since
the
moment
she
met
Paul.

Queen
was
caught
up
in
the
tornado
of
chaos
that
comes
with
dating
an
All
American
Quarterback
and
her
life
has
been
chaotic
since
the
moment
they
kissed.

She
hardly
recognized
herself
anymore.

She
was
more
focus
on
Paul
then
her
studies.

She
had
even
noticed
a
nasty
little
jealous
streak
brewing.

Actually,
she
felt
like
Dorothy
from
the
Wizard
of
Oz.

She
found
herself
twirling
around
over
a
hundred
miles
an
hour
in
a
whirlwind
from
hell.

Zoey
was
the
wicked
bitch
of
the
East
and
Jaydan
was
the
wicked
bitch
of
the
West.

And
they
both
taunted
and
provoked
her
constantly.

She
was
not
sure
if
somehow
she
had
transferred
to
Oz.

But
one
thing
was
certain
she
damn
sure
wasn't
in
Kansas
anymore.

"Oh
hell,"
she
thought.

"Where's
the
damn
Wizard
when
you
need
him?"

As
she
walked
across
campus
to
the
library
she
spotted
Paul
heading
towards
her.

A
broad
familiar
grin
crossed
his
face
as
their
eyes
met.

"What
are
you
doing
here?

I
thought
you
were
home."

She
smiled
as
she
greeted
him
with
a
hug
and
a
kiss.

"I
suddenly
had
a
taste
for
something
sweet."

He
grinned
as
he
kissed
her
lips
and
hugged
her
tight.

"Oh
yeah?

Well,
I
am
glad
you
have
a
sweet-tooth,
because
I
am
so
glad
to
see
you.

This
day
is
straight
out
of
hell.

Oh
yeah,
speaking
of
demons,
this
belongs
to
you."

She
joked
as
she
took
a
note
from
Zoey
out
of
her
purse
and
handed
it
to
him.
