slowly
stripped
off
his
clothes
without
hesitation
or
further

as

surprise

that

was

and
back
into

like
to

and
to

his

and

and

as

to

Jade
instantly
realized
what
Queen

planned.

knew
it
wouldn't
be
good
for
Queen
to

caught
in
bed
with
Logic.
 
So,
she
convinced
Teddy
to
visit
Queen
the
following
day.
 
It
was
Friday
and
they
decided
to
stop
by
even
though
neither
Queen
nor
Logic
answered
their
phone.
 
As
they
stood
outside
ringing
the
bell
and
knocking,
Jade
had
an
eerie
feeling
that
last
night
had
spilled
over
into
today.
 
It
was
two
o'clock
in
the
afternoon
and
nobody
responded
to
their
knocks.

It
was
apparent
that
they
were
in
the
apartment,
because
Logic's
BMW
was
parked
out
front.
 
Frustrated,
Teddy
banged
on
the
door
hard
and
yelled,
"Logic
open
the
door.
 
It's
Teddy
and
Jade.
 
We
have
some
of
Queen's
things."

Moments
later
a
groggy
Logic
opened
the
door,
barefoot
in
jeans
and
a
wife
beater
tee
shirt.
 
"Damn
nigga.
 
Keep
it
down.
 
I
have
neighbors."

"My
bad.
 
What's
up
man?"
 
Teddy
asked
as
he
gave
Logic
some
dap.

"Nothing
much.
 
Long
night
and
shit,
that's
all."

"Yeah,
I
can
imagine.
 
Where's
Queen?
 
Is
she
okay?"
 
Teddy
responded
as
he
entered
the
apartment.

"Ummm
yeah.
 
You
know...
 
As
well
as
she
can
be,
considering
the
circumstances.
 
She's
in
the
shower."
 
He
indicated
as
he
spotted
Jade
scanning
the
apartment.
 
"Hey
Jade
what's
up?"

Jade
rolled
her
eyes
to
let
him
know
that
she
knew
exactly
what
was
up.
 
Still
she
remained
cool
when
she
spoke,
because
she
didn't
want
Teddy
to
catch
on.
 
"Apparently,
a
whole
lot
of
unnecessary
drama.
 
I'm
going
to
check
on
Queen."

"Go
ahead
back.
 
I'm
sure
she'll
be
glad
to
see
you."

Jade
entered
the
master
bedroom
to
find
just
what
she
expected.
 
The
rose
petals
on
the
floor,
spent
aroma
candles
and
a
bed
obviously
slept
in
by
two
people
where
all
evidence
that
Queen
had
used
Logic
to
make
it
through
the
night.
 
The
bathroom
door
was
open
but
she
announced
herself
anyway.
 
"Queen
it's
Jade.
 
Can
I
come
in?"

Queen
yelled
back
from
the
shower.
 
"Jade,
I'll
be
out
in
a
minute."

"Take
your
time.
 
I'll
be
right
out
here."
 
Jade
said
as
she
smoothed
the
covers
on
the
bed.

"Hey
girl."
 
Queen
said
as
she
came
out
of
the
bathroom
wearing
only
the
big
fluffy
pink
robe
that
logic
bought
her.
 
She
gave
Jade
a
big
hug.

"How
are
you
holding
up?"
Jade
asked
as
she
hugged
her
best
friend
as
tight
as
she
could.

"I'm
okay."
 
Queen
replied.
 
"It
hurts
but
it's
not
the
end
of
the
world,
right?"

"Right."
 
Jade
answered
as
she
realized
that
Queen
was
fighting
back
tears.
 
"Come
on
it's
going
to
be
okay."

Jade
lead
Queen
over
to
the
bed
were
Queen
broke
down.
 
"I
guess
you
can
see
that
I'm
still
a
fucking
mess."

"It's
understandable.
 
Don't
worry
it'll
get
better."

"How
the
fuck
could
Paul
do
this
to
me,
Jade?"

"Queen,
he
didn't
mean
to
hurt
you.
 
Zoey
set
him
up."

"Even
if
she
did
he
made
the
decision
to
screw
her.
 
Look
it
doesn't
even
matter
anymore.
 
I'm
done.
I
am
so
fucking
done."
 
Queen
declared
as
she
wiped
the
tears
from
her
eyes.
 
"I
got
one
more
semester
here.
 
When
I
come
back
from
spring
break
I'm
just
going
to
do
my
time
and
get
the
fuck
out
of
Atlanta."

"Queen
you
got
to
at
least
talk
to
him.
 
He's
going
crazy
worrying
about
you.
 
He
slept
in
your
damn
room
last
night.
 
Well
for
the
couple
of
hours
he
slept.
 
Teddy
and
I
were
up
with
him
all
night."

"You
spent
the
night
over
there?"

"I
had
to.
 
He
wanted
to
come
over
here
to
get
you
with
a
damn
gun.
 
And
we
both
know
what
a
fucking
disaster
that
would
have
been."
