"Love
or
not
I
think
you're
making
a
big
mistake.

Paul
is
in
love
with
you.

Hell
he
wants
to
marry
you
one
day."

"I'm
afraid
that's
not
going
to
happen.

I'm
already
engaged."
Queen
said
as
she
showed
Teddy
her
engagement
ring.

"What
the
fuck?

Logic
asked
you
to
marry
him?"

Teddy
asked
stunned.

"Queen
it's
too
soon
for
this
bullshit.

Don't
do
this.

It'll
fuck
up
your
life."

"We're
not
getting
married
until
I
finish
Medical
School.

You
don't
know
this
but
Logic
and
I
have
been
together
on
and
off
since
the
sixth
grade.

If
I
wasn't
really
in
love
with
him
and
if
I
didn't
think
it
would
work
then
I
wouldn't
have
said
yes."

"Queen,
Paul
is

going
to
fuck
Logic
up
when
he
finds
this
shit
out.

And
you
know
what
I'm
going
to
help
him."

Teddy
confessed.

"No
he's
not
and
no
you're
not.

You
don't
get
to
choose
who
I
love.

This
is
my
choice,
Bear.

You
two
are
my
friends.

I'm
not
asking
you
to
like
it.

I'm
just
asking
that
you
don't
let
it
come
between
us.

So,
if
you
want
to
go
like
that
then
you'd
better
be
ready
to
fuck
me
up
too,
because
I'm
not
going
to
let
you
hurt
him."

Queen's
voice
began
to
crack.

"Okay,
calm
down.

Don't
get
all
upset
and
start
crying.

Nobody's
going
to
do
anything
to
your
Boo."

Teddy
teased
as
he
pulled
her
into
his
arms
and
rubbed
her
back
to
comfort
her.

"I'm
sorry.

I
didn't
mean
to
make
you
cry
Mye
Queen.

You
know
how
I
feel
about
you.

I
would
never
do
anything
to
hurt
you.

So
stop
crying.

Everything
will
be
okay.

Do
you
want
me
to
talk
to
Paul
for
you."

"Thanks,
but
he
needs
to
hear
this
from
me.

I
just
hope
he
doesn't
hate
me
after
I
tell
him."

"He
loves
you
too
much
to
hate
you
Queen.

It'll
hurt
but
he's
not
going
to
blame
you.

He
knows
the
circumstances
behind
it.

He'll
be
okay."

"I
hope
you're
right."

"If
not
I'm
sure
Zoey
will
be
happy
to
offer
him
some
more
of
that
good
old
southern
comfort
.
"

Teddy
joked.

Queen
snickered
and
punched
Teddy
in
his
arm.

"See
that's
not
even
funny,
Bear."

"Yeah
it
is."

Teddy
laughed.

"You're
right.

It
is
kind
of
funny."

Although
Teddy's
words
were
comforting,
Queen
knew
that
the
task
ahead
of
her
wasn't
going
to
be
an
easy
one.

Paul
had
been
jealous
of
Logic
since
the
second
they
met.

And
it
didn't
help
that
Logic
announced
that
his
one
and
only
objective
in
Atlanta
was
to
win
Queen
back.

Now
it
rested
on
Queen
to
tell
him
that
Logic's
mission
had
been
accomplished.

And
she
was
convinced
that
he
wasn't
going
to
be
too
happy
about
it.

~*~*~

Thus
far
Queen
had
gotten
off
fairly
easy.

Probably
because
nothing
she
said
came
as
a
real
surprise
to
either
Logic
or
Teddy.

Sure,
they
were
aware
that
she
was
sleeping
with
both
of
them.

Did
they
care?

Hell
no!

They
were
happy
to
scrounge
whatever
morsel
of
Queen's
love
that
they
could
manage
to
salvage.

Besides
they
both
understood
that
Queen
was
a
free
agent
who
was
merely
exercising
her
right
to
shop
around
for
a
better
contract.

Sometimes
it's
simply
a
matter
of
being
in
the
right
place
at
the
right
time
to
take
full
advantage
of
an
opportunity.

And
both
Logic
and
Teddy
wanted
to
make
sure
that
they
stayed
on
Queen's
good
side
just
in
case
she
decided
to
switch
teams.

In
the
end
it
paid
off
big
for
Logic.

He
got
his
Queen
back.

Queen
decided
that
it
would
probably
be
more
humane
to
break
the
news
to
Paul
after
dinner.

After
all,
he
had
just
traveled
almost
seven
hundred
miles
to
see
her.

The
least
she
could
do
was
to
let
him
enjoy
some
of
her
mom's
home
cooking.

And
what
a
home
cooked
meal
it
was.

Mrs.
Queen
had
threw
down
the
gauntlet.

She
prepared
a
lavish
spread
of
fried
chicken,
potato
salad,
candy
yams,
collard
greens,
ham,
corn
on
the
cob,
macaroni
and
cheese
and
corn
bread.

Not
to
mention
she
baked
an
assortment
of
deserts
including
sweet
potato
pie
and
chocolate
cake.

Needless
to
say
the
men
where
in
hog
heaven
and
the
women
were
stuck
in
hell's
kitchen.
