Alpha's Mate (12 page)

She remembered what it felt like with both of them inside her and she felt the wetness flow from her at the thought of doing it again.

Cami leaned back a little more so both if the men could have access to her. She was drowning in the sensations that were sweeping over her. Jaden pulled him from her mouth and smiled. “Quin, I think our mate is wanting a little more from us.” Quin sat up on his heels and smiled at Jaden. “I do believe you are correct.” Cami frowned at the mates because they had stopped what had been leading to a very nice release. Nevertheless, when Jaden drew her up into his arms, and then lifted her up so she had to wrap her legs around his waist she grinned. They fit perfect together.

Jaden slipped into her wet and ready opening, while Quin used the advantage of having her spread, to prepare her ass so he could take her there. Soon, Cami was groaning all over again as Jaden lowered and raised her on his shaft.

“Ready.” Quin said and then she felt him push the head of his cock in her small puckered hole that he had just stretched. The feeling of fullness enveloped her and she leaned back so she was against Quin's chest also.

The men moved slowly, one pulling out of her while the other pushed in. This dance lasted for a few strokes, and Cami yelled at them to move quicker. They were trying to drive her crazy with the slow movements.

Jaden laughed at her and then gripped Quin's waist around her. Cami bounced between them as they both increased the pace and allowed her a little more movement.

Cami had spoken to Grace, and she knew the more times her men claimed her, the happier and safer they would all be. She wanted to have them both bite her at the same time, and she said as much as she yelled at them to hurry before she climaxed.

Cami felt Jaden and Quin's hot breath against her neck, she tilted her head enough to give both of them access, and then she waited for her wolves to claim her. It did not take long, first Quin and the Jaden latched on to her neck and she exploded around them.

It took several moments before they came back to their senses. “Shit, you two are going to kill me.” She muttered breathlessly against Jaden"s throat.

“But what a way to go.” Quin laughed and slowly pulled out of her. Jaden did the same and they lowered her into the still hot bath she had run before. She sighed and sank into the calming water and just relaxed. She knew after all that had happened, they would be lucky to have a moment"s peace, and she just wanted a few minutes to think.

She knew she had brought up a valid point earlier with the guys. Someone was trying to hurt Quin and it was personal. Now it was a matter of trying to figure out who, and to what purpose. Quin said these attacks had been going on for months, so it stood to reason that whoever it was, had been pissed off even longer than that. The planning that had needed to take place and the Rogues that needed to be gathered and questioned would take time.

Cami knew she was going to have to convince Quin to look further into his past. She heard the shower across the room start and smiled. Her men were showering together.

Cami thought she was going to feel a little jealous at first, but she did not. Instead, she found it exciting, and it turned her on, to know that her men loved her and each other.

Jaden and Quin smiled at the little figure still in the bathtub fifteen minutes later. She must have relaxed so much she fell asleep, because they had been talking softly about her for at least a minute and she had not opened her eyes.

Jaden leaned down and nuzzled her neck. He laughed when she frowned and tried to slap him away. “No, not time yet.” She grumbled and peaked open an eye.

“Sorry baby, we have to get you out and dressed. The Pack has an emergency meeting and you are expected there.” Quin said.

“Fine, I do want you to know though that I expect some sort of compensation for being interrupted.” She said slyly.

“Oh yeah, what would that be?” Jaden laughed.

“I will let you know later, but I am thinking it may involve chocolate syrup and whipped cream.” She said and stood in the bath letting the water stream down her body, not bothering to cover it while her men looked at her with heat in their eyes.

“Seriously?” Quin said and licked his lips as if he could taste it already.

“Maybe if you are good, I will include a cherry.” She said, and sashayed into the dressing room while drying off with a towel that Jaden had offered her.

“Holy Shit.” Jaden said and looked at Quin. “We have created a monster.”

“Oh yeah, would you have it any other way?” Quin said and grinned at his friend, then leaned in and kissed him. “We are so lucky.” Jaden smiled and nodded then looked again, toward where Cami had disappeared. “Do you think she is ready to hear what we and the Pack have to say?”

“Does not matter, she has to be. She is gonna be pissed, but what else can we do? They broke into our home; it is an all out declaration of war. We have to respond. She needs to be ready in case things do not work out like we want them to.” Quin said grimly and walked into the bedroom.

Jaden followed slower and grew more solemn as the moments passed. They waited in silence for Cami to come out. They needed to present a united front from the moment they stepped out of this room. Someone was obviously watching, and the men did not want to give them anything.

Cami finished getting ready and stepped out into the room. She was dressed casually, but still with some elegance. Her purple and pink pant suit was the most favorite thing she owned. It was comfortable and deceptively elegant. She slipped her shoes on, and stood waiting for Jaden and Quin to come and meet her by the door.

“Hang on.” Quin said and motioned for her to return to the middle of the room. Cami smiled and walked toward him. Her eyes grew bigger when she saw that he had rings in his hand.

“Baby, we are married in the eyes of the Pack, and so we have had these made for us.

Each of us has a wedding band and then we have another ring for you. It is a yellow diamond ring. It belonged to my grandmother. The Alpha Mate has always had a yellow diamond to show that you are truly the Alpha Mate.” Quin said and held out his hand asking hers to be placed in his.

Cami smiled and then held out her hand, Jaden picked up the ring from Quin's palm, and slowly put both rings on her finger. She then picked up both rings for the men, and placed them on their fingers and slowly leaned in and kissed each of them.

“I love you.” She whispered against each of their lips and then looked at her hand. Cami grinned foolishly at the sight of the rings.

“We love you too.” Jaden whispered and then leaned down and kissed her ring. “Let"s get this show on the road.”

Quin grimaced and then motioned for Jaden and Cami to follow him. He really wanted to get this over with and then come back to the room and be with his mates. It seemed like since they had found one another, it had been one thing after another. He was getting sick of it. He just wanted to live his life with his mates and be safe and happy.

Was that too much to ask?

The three walked to the elevator where Tey and Devon were waiting. Cami smiled at the Enforcers and then she leaned up and kissed Devon. “Thank you for keeping them safe.” She whispered and Devon stepped back surprised that someone had thanked him for doing his job.

Jaden laughed and patted the guy on the back and said. “Get used to it. She seems like she is going to be a touchy feely Alpha Mate.” Quin laughed and went into the elevator. They descended only three floors before stopping and exiting. Quin had not wanted to put them in danger by leaving the building, so he had the Pack come to one of their conference rooms in the building. It was used for meetings with the Enforcers and security, but they would have to make due. When they walked in the room, silence took place of the noisy commotion that had only seconds before, filled the room. Their Alphas had been attacked and the Pack was pissed. One thing Cami understood from the first meeting, if there was one thing that would not be tolerated, it was an attack on the Alphas. The Pack would defend its leaders with its last breath and Cami was nervous about this. Would they all feel the same way about her? After all, she was a human, and she had barely had enough time to meet half of them.

The day at the bookstore had been the one time she had been able to talk to the women of the Pack. She had hopefully made a good impression, but since then it felt like her priorities had changed. She wanted to make sure that everyone knew she was going to wait until everyone was safe before she opened the store.

Cami nodded to the familiar faces that she saw, and grinned when a few of the children she had met ran up to her and hugged her leg. A small little boy pulled on her pants until she leaned down to him.

“Alpha Cami, I am so glad you are not dead.” He whispered and kissed her on the cheek.

Cami blushed, stood, smiled at the child"s mother, and nodded. Jaden put a hand on her back and led her to the front of the room. Like before, they stood behind Quin as he held up his hand to get everyone"s attention.

“As you have heard, there was an attack on us. We are all working on figuring out who and why, but for now we are on alert. No one will be allowed to leave this building unless they have permission. We have made sure cots are being set up in the various rooms for each of you; everyone will have a bed, although not much privacy. We will all eat in the make shift cafeteria on the floor below. Single men will be housed on the first floor. Single women will be housed in the penthouse with Cami. Families will be on the floor below the penthouse and finally Enforcers, Jaden, and I will be housed on this floor. You will each be shown the facilities that are being provided in advance, I apologize if anyone is uncomfortable. I wish this would not have gotten this far, but the security in this building has been increased and for all of us, it will be safer than being apart.” Quin stated and stepped back.

Cami had not known she would be separated from her mates and was not happy about it, but this was not the time or the place to fight that battle. She knew she would lose.

Jaden and Quin answered the questions that flew around the room. A man stepped forward and said quietly. “Before we go into lock down, may I show the Alpha Mate what we have done to the store? It will only take a few moments. All of us have worked so hard.”

Quin stopped and looked at Tey who shrugged. “I will send all the Enforcers. Those who need to, can return to their homes and grab what they need to remain here until the end of this situation. You have only a half an hour before we lock down. Then we will be going on the offensive, and no one is allowed out until this is over. The Enforcers and I have devised a plan to draw the Rogues out. So let"s get moving.” Cami stepped up, and whispered into Quin's ear, “We have things to talk about later.

Like why I am being shut out of this.”

Quin turned and said, “You need to take care of Ruby, she wanted to be with you, and we could not think of a better way. She has been having nightmares and her mother is at her wits end.”

“Fine, I will take that as an excuse, but do not even think about doing something dangerous. I will kick your ass if you get hurt.” She smiled, and then turned to Tey and nodded.

Cami stepped out into the hallway with the smaller man who had asked her to look at the store. A few others, who were following, whispered excitedly. She noticed the majority were men, and there was only one female other than herself, she was surprised when she noticed it was Ruby. When smaller teen came and grabbed her hand and arm, Cami smiled at her. Ruby wrapped herself around Cami, like she was protecting her from something.

“What?” She whispered to Ruby.

“I don"t know, something feels off, I just want to be with you.” She whispered back and Cami nodded and smiled at the girl reassuringly. She did not want the girl to think she did not want her to come with her. If there was a chance, they would be attacked, there were enough men to help them until they could get back, at least she hoped so. With more confidence than she felt, Cami stepped onto the elevator, turned, and waited for all the men to follow.

The man who had asked that she be allowed to see the book store spoke finally, “I know this is unusual, but we have been working around the clock. I think it would be good for the morale of the others, if they knew you had seen the store, in case something happens to it.”

“Of course, I would have come today anyway. I just do not want anyone to think the store is more important than my wolves. I would trade it all to make sure the Pack was safe.” She said loudly so everyone in the elevator heard her.

Cami was bound and determined to make sure that all the Pack knew she was in it for the long haul. Slowly they made it out of the building and across the street. They had to wait for the rest of the Enforcers in the lobby, and she chatted with all the men quietly and with confidence.

When they opened the door to the store, she gasped. The entire place was done. Books lined the shelves, and small gathering areas had been situated around the store. It was done in bright and lively colors just like she had wanted and written down, but had not picked out yet. How had they known? The front had a rounded checkout counter with several chairs behind it and a modern cash register. She wandered toward the back and saw the coffee bar set up and a place to have small bakery items also. Tears formed in her eyes as she realized her dream had come true.

Cami felt arms encircle her and she turned and smiled when she saw that Quin and Jaden had come across with most of the rest of the Pack.

“We wanted to make sure you knew you were important to us. All of us.” Quin whispered and turned her so she was in front of the Pack. They cheered as they saw the tears flowing down her face. When she could not speak because she was so choked up, they all came and enveloped her in the biggest group hug she had ever been in.

When she mated with Quin and Jaden, she thought the feeling of completion was the best thing she would ever feel. She had been right on one aspect. The feeling of family and belonging, the one thing she had craved when she was growing up, was a close rival to those emotions.
