Senator Saltonstall’s statement has been described as the so-called “want to know” principle. Corson, op. cit., p. 306, citing U.S. Congress Senate Select Committee to Study Governmental Operations with Respect to Intelligence Activities, First Report (1976), p. 149.

The Soviet Union continues to charge in its propaganda broadcasts that American intelligence is still secretly maintaining its financial support for the ex-Nazi émigré organizations. BBC “Summary of World Broadcasts,” December 20, 1979. My earlier assertions that the OPC used these same private organizations to launder funds come neither from Soviet sources nor from classified files. All that is necessary to identify the CIA conduits is to check publicly available lists for those organizations that contributed money to Radio Liberty from 1951 to 1971. Radio Liberty has since admitted that during this period 99.8 percent of its income came from the CIA. Monograph, “Radio Liberty–Basic Facts,” Library of Congress, P-134 SC (72) 53.

In spite of all that has happened, I remain convinced that an efficient intelligence service is essential to the defense of democracy. Somehow, Congress must strike a better balance between secrecy and supervision.

ShadowMasters

An International Network of Governments and Secret-Service Agencies Working Together with Drug Dealers and Terrorists for Mutual Benefit and Profit

by Daniel Estulin

This investigation examines how behind-the-scenes collaboration between governments, intelligence services and drug traffickers has lined the pockets of big business and Western banks. Beginning with a last-minute request from ex-governor Jesse Ventura, the narrative winds between the author’s own story of covering “deep politics” and the facts he has uncovered. The Last Circle

Danny Casalaro’s Investigation into The Octopus and the Promis Software Scandal

byCheri Seymour

The Last Circle
is an unparalleled investigation into one of the most organized and complex criminal enterprises that American has ever seen.

Investigative reporter Cheri Seymour spent 18 years following the trail of the Octopus, probing the behind-the-scenes dynamics of a labyrinth that encompassed multiple covert operations involving a maze of politicians; NSC, CIA, and DOJ officials; organized crime figures; intelligence agents; arms sales; drug-trafficking; high-tech money laundering; and the death of Washington D.C. journalist Danny Casolaro.

Through law enforcement agencies as far-ranging as the FBI, U.S. Customs, police and sheriff’s departments, and even the RCMP national security division, Seymour learned that the official head of the Octopus resided in the U.S. Department of Justice, supported by an out-of-control presidential administration, its tentacles comprised of a cabal of “Old Boy” cronies, true believers, who held that the end justified the means.

They gave corruption a new meaning as they stampeded through the Constitution, cowboyed the intelligence community, blazed new trails into drug cartels and organized crime, while simultaneously growing new tentacles that reached into every facet of criminal enterprise. The theft of high-tech software (PROMIS) for use in money-laundering and espionage; illegal drug and arms trafficking in Latin America; and exploitation of sovereign Indian nations were just a few of these enterprises.

The Last Circle
educates and inspires because it proves that an average citizen can make a difference in exposing and bringing to justice high-level criminals. For readers who like mystery and intrigue, it is an interesting first-person account of a female sleuth’s journey through the nation’s most hidden criminal underworld.

America’s Nazi Secret

An Uncensored History of the US Justice Department’s Obstruction of Congressional Investigations into Americans Who Funded Hitler, Postwar Immigration of Eastern European War Criminals to the US, and the Evolution of the Arab Nazi Movement into Modern Middle Eastern Terrorists

by John Loftus

Fully revised and expanded, this stirring account reveals how the U.S. government permitted the illegal entry of Nazis into North America in the years following World War II. This extraordinary investigation exposes the secret section of the State Department that began, starting in 1948 and unbeknownst to Congress and the public until recently, to hire members of the puppet wartime government of Byelorussia—a region of the Soviet Union occupied by Nazi Germany. A former Justice Department investigator uncovered this stunning story in the files of several government agencies, and it is now available with a chapter previously banned from release by authorities and a foreword and afterword with recently declassified materials.

John Loftus is a former U.S. government prosecutor, a former Army intelligence officer, and the author of numerous books, including The Belarus Secret, The Secret War Against the Jews, Unholy Trinity: How the Vatican’s Nazi Networks Betrayed Western Intelligence to the Soviets, and Unholy Trinity: The Vatican, the Nazis, and the Swiss Banks. He has appeared regularly as a media commentator on ABC National Radio and Fox News. He lives in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Me & Lee

How I Came to Know, Love and Lose Lee Harvey Oswald

by Judyth Vary Baker

Foreword by Edward T. Haslam
Afterword by Edward Haslam

Judyth Vary was once a promising science student who dreamed of finding a cure for cancer; this exposé is her account of how she strayed from a path of mainstream scholarship at the University of Florida to a life of espionage in New Orleans with Lee Harvey Oswald. In her narrative she offers extensive documentation on how she came to be a cancer expert at such a young age, the personalities who urged her to relocate to New Orleans, and what lead to her involvement in the development of a biological weapon that Oswald was to smuggle into Cuba to eliminate Fidel Castro. Details on what she knew of Kennedy’s impending assassination, her conversations with Oswald as late as two days before the killing, and her belief that Oswald was a deep-cover intelligence agent who was framed for an assassination he was actually trying to prevent, are also revealed.
