“Got it boss, I’ll watch her like she was mine.” I gave him a hard look that had him grinning and backing up with his hands in the air.

I pulled her into me. “Everything’s okay, nothing for you to worry about okay.” She nodded and hid her face in my chest.

“Let me see that smile baby. There she is.” I love you.” I whispered the last three words in her ear before walking away swiftly.

“Let’s go before his fuck gets his ass killed by these racist fucks and I have to burn this town to the ground.”
