Aran: Love me Harder - Alien Paranormal Romance (16 page)

He never said a word as he flipped her, thrusting into her waiting body. She screamed out in pleasure as he took her. It wasn’t sweet or enduring. It was hard and wild. Need driven. He needed her as much as she needed him.

She wrapped her legs around him as he pounded into her making her moans of yes and pleas of more seem like whispers compared to the next round.

She needed this. Feeling him in her making her feel alive and desirable was a necessity. He gave her so much and she felt every bit of it. Love, she would have laughed at this if the need to moan would give her a minute.

She felt the first convulsion, the beautiful feeling that had taken over her tummy and rolled down to her pulsing sex, as he continued to pound in her. Her heart was beating so fast she thought she might die. Finally that scream tore out of her and her body convulsed with pleasure.

She rode that wave as it crested. She had never felt this good. When she opened her eyes again, the animal was there. The male had slipped into the background.

His fangs had descended sending a signal that he wanted something, he leaned over and licked her neck. She knew what he wanted. She could feel the need pouring off of him. Her body was building again, reaching for the second wave.

Did she want this? He waited on her response. A life-time commitment with the best sex ever. Shouldn’t be a hard decision. She nodded her head.

“Yes.” She needed to say the words to know she had made this choice on her own.

His body shifted a little, still male but more. She wrapped her arms around him as her hips swung up to meet his. He hit that spot and she flew apart one more time.

His teeth sank into her shoulder as he came apart in her. He cried out, making her body convulse again. The swift pain she felt as his fangs penetrated her turned into sheer pleasure as she floated on a cloud.

She felt good. A smile crossed her face as her eyes closed in pleasure. Maybe she would regret this later, but right now she was good with it.

“How do you feel, doll?”

He was laying on her, allowing her to take all of his weight and for once she didn’t feel crushed.

“Considering that you’re lying on me and I can breathe, I would say I am doing fine. You?

He pulled out and rolled over. Her womb was still clenching and wanted more. She might have to find out if there was a sexual addiction group she could attend.

Mate you are beautiful.”

“Did you say something?”

“Did you hear something?”

Mate, it will take a while for the male to catch up.”

“What?”

“The male side can’t talk to you yet, but soon he will be able to. For now, you are all mine and you are beautiful.”

“How is this possible?”

“It just is.”

“Are you separate from him?”

“No, we are one. There is no me without him.”

“Why isn’t he saying anything?”

“I told him I was finally talking to you and asked him for this time. He agreed.”

“Tell me about who you are?”

“Will you lay closer?”

She moved closer to him as he took her in his arms. She laid her head on his chest, feeling his steady heartbeat and marveled that she could talk to the animal that lived inside the male.

I come from a planet that is different from where we were created. My people were captured and studied. I know this, because our history is passed down in the building blocks of our life. We are all born knowing what happened to those before us.”

“I wouldn’t like that, to know what my parents and grandparents had gone through. It would be a hard way to live.”

“To appreciate a life that is vastly different or better than the one that came before you had?”

“What if your life was worse? How would you feel then? What if you were sliced and diced and made part of a science project?”

“Then you merge with the male until the two of you are invincible. You do what you need to in order to escape. You find the planet your mate is on. Exciting.”

“I see you in him and vice versa. The two of you really are one.”

“Yes, although we change forms, we are still one. Soon the male will integrate with me on this level, but I must ask you a question first.”

He put her to the side and stood by the bed.

“Do I scare you, mate?” His body elongated his claws came out and hair sprouted all over him. There, standing on two feet, was the stuff of nightmares, an alien from another planet. He was enough to scare adults and give them coronary’s.

She stood on the bed and walked to the edge. He was so tall now that she would never be able to touch his shoulders if she stood on the floor.

“Do you scare me? No.” She hugged him tight, allowing him to feel the love she had for him.

“My mate.”

Chapter Twenty-six

The phone rang waking him up. He reached out to pull his clock closer. It was three thirty in the morning. Who could be calling him?

“Hello.”

“You missed.”

He had been dreading this call, hoping it wouldn’t come.

“I was too far away. I tried. There was no way to assure accuracy from that distance. Maybe now that she understands her life is in danger, she will stop.”

“Do you really think I am that stupid? Don’t worry. I am not coming after you, all you need is motivation.”

The line went dead and the pit of his stomach soured. What did he mean by motivation? He tried to fall asleep, but all he did was toss and turn, as horrify dreams played out for him in vivid colors.

She felt wonderful. In fact, she wanted to tell the world, by world she meant Dee of course. She found her phone that had managed to drop under the bed. She was pretty sure it had to do with her walking on the mattress last night.

Dee’s voice mail picked up. ‘Hey, I am not available. Leave a message and girl if this is you, why are you calling me when I can’t come to the phone?’

She laughed and texted her instead.

Aran slept. Poor male, she must have worn him out last night. He had reached for her several times and thought it was marvelous when he realized he could talk directly into her mind.

She liked it. He could talk to her, but not read her mind. That last item was such an important thing. It was like they had a special bond. She grabbed a shower and headed downstairs where all the brothers lay.”

“Hello?”

None of them looked like they had gone home.

“Have you all been here all night?”

Every head nodded and not one of them looked her in the eye. Heat covered her cheeks as she thought of what had happened last night and the way she had yelled her pleasure to the heavens.

She was jealous, all of a sudden, of all the women whose men were only children. She shook her head and smiled. Welcome to the family.

“Next time someone tells you to go home, you will leave.”

“Or bring earplugs.”

Her cheeks got even hotter. She wouldn’t be living this down for a while.

“Which one of you is making breakfast?”

They looked around, making not me sounds.

“Looks like it will be me.” Dante said getting up. “Soon, I am going to make you all take cooking classes. No good, the lot of you. Well, come on. Let’s go to the kitchen. I am not cooking alone.”

“Where’s Aran?” Sergey asked.

“In the shower.”

Morning doll.”

“Morning lover. Did you know your family stayed last night?”

“Yes.”

“You didn’t tell me because…”

“I didn’t want to scare you. They would not leave us unmonitored.”

She shook her head. They were a great family and she was proud to call them hers.

“Get down here before we eat all the food”

“Rena are you still with us?” Dante gave her a concerned look.

“Sorry. I was all up in my head for a minute.”

“No problem. Is eggs, sausage and toast good?”

“Perfect.”

“Should we call Dee down for breakfast?” Niko asked Rena.

“She’s not here. I’m not sure where she is. She didn’t answer my call and has not returned my text yet. She is probably just sleeping in.”

Niko nodded his head, but the worry in his eyes did not go unnoticed. Aran walked in while Dante was finishing breakfast. They ate, keeping the conversation light.

“Are you good?” Sergey asked Aran.

“We are fine. Go home clean up and get some rest. I will see you all later.”

They nodded and walked out.

“What are we going to do today?”

“I am going to show you something. You will be the first human to ever see it.”

“I am honored and intrigued at the same time.”

He took her out back to the garage where he had a motorcycle.

“It will be easier to get there if we ride this.”

She sat behind him with her arms around his mid-section as he took off. She had never been on one. It took her a few minutes to feel comfortable enough to look at her surroundings.

They had left what she thought of as the property line and were now going through a forest.

“Is this some type of preserve? Maybe a state park I don’t know about?”

“No, this is all mine, all ours now.”

“You own all this?”

“We own all this.”

“I guess it’s good to be us.”

She spent the ride looking around at the expanse of space and the beauty of the untouched land. He brought the bike to a stop outside of a large building that looked like a hanger.

“You’re about the see the reason we own all of this land.”

He took her hand and led her over to a door that took an intricate code before it would open. She walked in, noticing the lights came on automatically as he walked, leading the way.

They walked down a narrow hallway that led to an open space. The light flared on and she halted, gasping at what she saw.

“Is that a real, live spaceship?” She was jumping up and down in excitement. Dreams of being Uhura ran through her head. “Can we go in?”

He nodded and took her down the ramp that led to the floor of the hanger.

“Where’s the door?”

“No door. Stand here and don’t move.”

She felt a beam go over her body and a queasy sensation in the pit of her stomach. Then she was standing on the inside of the ship.

“This is fantastic! I am standing in a real spaceship that has been in the stars. Does it still work? Can you take me up?”

“It is still functional, but we do not want to risk detection by your government. There were many UFO sightings when we touched down.”

His phone rang. “Aran.”

He listened but didn’t say much. “We have to go back.”

“Why?”

“Niko is acting strange and Sergey and Dante are acting like we are at war. Something is not right and our beasts are alerting us.”

She sighed as the feeling came again. She stood on the outside of the ship and wished she had more time. They quickly locked up and were on their way back to the house.

The closer they got, the more she could feel Aran’s beast shift under his skin. The intelligent animal she spoke with last night didn’t get alarmed for no reason.

Niko was the first to greet Rena when she walked in. “Have you heard from Dee?”

“No.”

“Call her again.”

Aran growled at the tone of his voice and she ignored them both. Dee should have called back by now. The call went to voicemail.

“Dee, you’re freaking me out now. Call me and I mean ASAP.”

The room had gone silent while everyone listened to her phone call. Now the place was a den of activity.

Niko paced back and forth. Everyone made a wide path around him. Dante and Sergey were standing in a corner by the window, talking in low voices. There was nothing calm about the looks of them.

The other brothers were playing games. They looked like they needed something to keep their hands occupied. There were no loud voices, no teasing or deliberately getting under the others skin.

There was tension. It showed in the set of their shoulders. Their eyes continued to dart across the room as if looking for the silent enemy. Their beasts were close to the surface.

She looked for Aran and found him by the door. He was planted in front of it, as if he were the sentinel and needed to be aware of every movement that was happening.

When her phone rang, the whole room held its breath almost like a collective mind. She grabbed it and smiled.

“It’s Dee!” Relief poured over her as she tried to hold back the sudden urge to cry.

“Dee, where has you ratchet ass been?”

“Bitch.”

Her stomach dropped as she heard that voice come through her phone. Her body began to shake as her head nodded no. It couldn’t be.

Aran grabbed the phone just as she hit the speaker button.

“I have your friend. I can either trade her for you, dead or alive, or kill her slowly. The choice is yours.”

Everything slowed down for her. The roar that came from Niko was so much background noise. Watching Hale and Ash grab him before he could get to her, or was it the phone he wanted, was like the background noise of a fair. Too much happening.

Dante had crossed the room and had Niko in a choke hold and still she couldn’t be bothered to care. Her eyes were on Aran.

Chapter Twenty-seven

Aran was the one chance she had been given at love. He had made her realize she was worth loving. Her size didn’t matter to him. He had simply accepted her for who she was.

She closed her hand over her heart and rubbed. She loved him. Now she wouldn’t ever be able to tell him that. He had stood by her, protected her and even worshipped her in his alieness, all the while he never apologized for being different. He simply let her accept him.

His beast had talked to her and loved her. What she wouldn’t give for another hour, day, month or year with Aran. What she wouldn’t give was Dee’s life. Dee still needed to understand a love like this.
