Billionaire's Lies: A Novel (7 page)

"Blake, wait," I said. He looked back at me. I walked closely to him. His designer suit complemented his scent. The smell was so good that I closed my eyes and took it in. This was a different scent but it gave me the same feeling as it did the first time we met.

"Yes, Christina." He brought me back from la-la land.

"I realized what I came here to tell you."

"What is it?"

"I have a secret." I smiled flirtatiously.

"What is it?"

"I'm not wearing any underwear." I smirked.

The tension between us was beginning to lift. It started from the feet up.

He moved even closer to me, put his arm around my waist, and held me. He nuzzled my neck with his nose and I squirmed at his touch. When I pulled away, I looked up at his face. His cold, dull, forest green eyes were growing brighter. When he blinked, they were now hypnotic, bright, emerald green.

"Come on," he murmured, kissing the nape of my neck. Gripping my waist, he led me towards the elevator doors. "I think we need to make up for lost time. Don't you?"

Chapter 7

Blake's emerald eyes came toward me. They were bright, luminant, and full of life as he pulled my legs, bringing me closer to the edge of the bed. He had this wicked look about him, like he was about to ravish me exactly the way he wanted. He pulled off my clothing roughly and discarded them across the room. After I was completely naked, he wasted no time in stroking every inch of my flesh until I broke out in goosebumps. His fingertips ignited a roaring fire within me and I couldn't help but tremble at his touch.

"Please," I whispered, reaching out to him.

He took my hand and kissed my palm so softly, I closed my eyes to savor it. Then he started kissing down my arm.

"Open your eyes. I want you to see me and watch everything I'm doing." I opened my eyes and they locked onto his. "What do you want me to do to you?" he murmured, his tone sounded almost bored but it held a dangerously seductive lilt. One I was beginning to grow all too familiar with; one the spread heat throughout my entire body because I knew what was to come.

"You already know."

"Tell me."

"Taste."

"You want me to taste you?" The corner of his lip turned up in a devilish smirk, and I bit my lip. Blake started to lower his head in between my legs but I forced them closed as much as I wanted his mouth on me.

"No. I want to taste you," I responded. His eye color intensified.

I sat up in bed and made my way over to him. I got on my knees and unbuttoned his pants. I reached over to his boxers and begun to pull them down.

"Slowly," he ordered. "And look at me while you do it." I followed his orders. When I got his black silk boxers to his feet, I walked my fingers playfully up his thighs until I reached his throbbing member. I smiled and kissed the head, my mouth already salivating at the contact and smell of his manhood.

"Open your mouth. Wide." When I did, he put himself inside me. "Put both of your hands on me and stroke as hard as you can."

I obliged his command and he moaned after I followed his instructions. I pumped him in my mouth and looked up at him. Although he told me to look at him, his eyes were starting to close and he was tilting his head back. He gripped the back of my head and forced himself deeper inside of me. I started to gag.

"Relax." His voice was so soothing that any tension I had melted away. I took him in and didn't take him out until my eyes started to water. He pulled me up to my feet and kissed me hard. He took off the rest of his clothes and wrapped my legs around him. His strong arms looped under my ass and he lifted me as if I weighed nothing, sending a thrill through me. We fell against the bed and he kissed me from my lips down to my breasts, taking his time stroking my nipples with his tongue.

"On your stomach." He started kissing my heel but as he moved further up, his kisses turned to soft bites. I was trying hard to keep still but the sensations alone had me pulsating.

"Please," I moaned, squirming under his touch.

"Shh." He was back at my neck; he moved my hair to the other side and started sucking and nibbling on it. My wetness rolled down my pussy lips and my lower body shifted involuntarily. I bit into the pillow and hugged it tightly. Just how long was he going to tease me?

The question was answered when he entered me slowly from behind and it brought me up to my knees. One of his free hands massaged my bottom and the other was grabbing on to my shoulder, plunging him further into me. His steady rate of speed was making my knees weak. I fell hard against the bed and his tempo increased. The sounds of our bodies hitting against each other, my moans, and his infrequent grunts filled the room, making me tremble. Before I could stop myself, I climaxed.

He laughed in satisfaction before leaving a stinging hot smack on my ass and scooping me up. Blake's hands firmly gripped my waist, guiding my hips to him as he thrust in and out of me. My knees began to quiver. I was falling against his lap and he had one hand on my breast, playing with my nipples, squeezing them, and titillating my senses. Blake was taking no prisoners. He put his hand around my neck and started squeezing it softly. I collapsed into him again. We moved together in a slow rhythm.

"Oh, my God. I can't anymore," I breathed, falling onto the bed. I moved my hair out of my face. Our bodies practically melted together with the heat and the sweat being used as glue.

"You're gorgeous." He was hovering over me, his fingertips moving towards my face to stroke the side of my cheek.

"I'm soaking wet," I responded pointedly, as if that would deter his opinion of me. I was trying to fix myself up but he put his hand on me to stop me.

"You're gorgeous," he repeated, his tone firm, as if he wouldn't take no for an answer. He leaned in and kissed my forehead. "You're..." He drifted off and looked away. I looked in his eyes and saw the strangest thing. For a second, it looked like it was the brightest green but then in the very next second, it was a dark forest green. It kept changing as he was struggling with his words.

"What are you trying to say?" I asked, my brows furrowing as I scooched up onto my elbows. I'd never seen Blake so wrought with emotion, and it hurt my heart to see him that way. I bit my lip as I waited for his response.

"Nothing," he responded coolly, his face resuming its unbreakable mask. The only thing that gave him away were his forest green eyes, hardened like his face had. "It's not the time or the place."

When he laid flat on the bed, the tension in the room was so thick, it was hard to breathe. It felt like I was going to get kicked out like I did the first night I was with him. He was already rolled off to his side and blinking slowly. Yup, it was almost the same, play by play.

"Can I take a shower?" I whispered.

"Yeah, sure," he yawned.

The shower beating against me was therapeutic. The steam filled the room. I looked over and wiped the glass. I was half expecting Blake to be there, but he wasn't. My heart dropped. How could I be so stupid? Did I really let the fact that he was in a business deal lead me over to his place for hot sex? Why didn't I think of what came after the sex?

After finishing the shower, I looked in the same cabinet where he got my comfortable clothes the last time. When I saw the two neatly folded rows of clothes, I swallowed hard. How many times has he done this before? There was even little sample-sized toiletries. He could easily open up a store if he wanted to. He was a real professional.

"I'm gonna go." I was dressed by the bedroom doorway. He didn't turn to look at me, and my heart dropped. I wondered if he was already asleep, or if he even cared.

I was already half-way to the door when I finally heard him ask, "Why are you going?"

I looked at him like he had two heads. His eyes weren't really bright but they weren't forest green either.

"I just thought..."

"Christina, I'll take the full blame. The last time, I was..."

"An asshole."

"Yeah." He smiled. "I was an asshole. I just have this certain lifestyle."

"I guess I'm not a good look."

"No!" He shot off of the bed. "When my father sees me, he expects things of me. He expects me to act a certain way and be with certain people. But I don't care about any of that. I want you. I've always wanted you."

I rolled my eyes while swallowing a lump in my throat. In all of these years, I'd never once heard him mention his father. Where was this all coming from?

"I'm sure." I crossed my arms over my chest, not daring look at him in case he snatched my happy vision away from me again.

"Do you know how many women throw themselves at me?"

I frowned and turned to glare at him. "Is that supposed to make me feel better? That I was
lucky
enough to let you fuck me?"

"Please let me finish."

I nodded and took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down.

"I get all these women thrown at me and there you are, and I can't get you out of my head. Before all of this, we never even touched and I can't stop--" He ran his hand through his hair. "I just can't stop. Now that I've had you, I'm not going to let you go."

"What are you saying?"

"Let's take this to the next level."

I didn't want to smile. I honestly didn't, but when he said those words, I couldn't help it. I fell into his arms. He kissed my forehead and gently stroked my back with his hands.

"I want you to stay the night."

Chapter 8

The bright sunlight woke me up. I had already reached over for my blinds when I realized I wasn't home. I was very much still in Blake's bedroom. When I saw that he wasn't in bed with me, that old feeling of abandonment started to rise up in my throat.
I'm so stupid.

"Hey, sleepy head," his soothing rumble of a voice came from the doorway. I turned my head to see him standing there with a tray, complete with toast, orange juice, coffee, bacon, and eggs. My stomach grumbled and my heart did a flip.
He made me breakfast in bed,
it fluttered. "I was wondering when you'd wake up." I looked around for a clock or something with the time. "It's 10:00 in the morning."

My eyes opened wide. "
Shit!"
I jumped out of bed, looking for my shoes and clothes. "I didn't even call in to say I'd be late."

"Don't be angry, but Vanessa called you around seven and I picked up, asking her to call in to the office with an emergency on your behalf. She called back half an hour later and said that they had bought it. I didn't want to wake you up and on top of that, I didn't want the chance that you might be late. I just took a precaution." He set the tray down on the bed. "Besides, I wanted to have you to myself all day." Blake's voice had taken that dangerously seductive lilt to it, the one that made me want to drop everything and be his no matter what.

"All day?" An excited shiver coursed through me.

"All day. Today's a rare occasion where I get to have time away from the office. It'd be a shame if I didn't spend that time having you to myself." He moved towards the bed, and I scooched up, giving him room to set the feast on my lap. My stomach did another happy grumble at the site of the omelet.

"So you want to spend your free time with me?" I asked before taking a bite. "
Mmm
," I couldn't help but moan. "Blake, these eggs are delicious. So light and fluffy."

The corner of his lip twitched up in amusement. "Yes, with you. That's the only way I'd get to enjoy myself."

My eyes shot up to him and I couldn't help but smile.

***

After breakfast, I hopped in the shower. I was more excited for his day full of activities than I had been for anything in a long, long time. He had a new outfit waiting for me when I came out. And I was taken aback by how casually he was dressed: blue jeans and a black shirt that made the green of his eyes somehow even more intense. He smiled when he saw that I was dressed and ready.

Without warning, he took my hand and led me outside. There was a car without tinted windows waiting. The driver came out and opened the door for us. I was seated inside and when I thought Blake was right behind me, I saw that he was still speaking to the driver. He handed him a phone, shook his hand, and hopped inside in the back seat beside me.
