“Oh, come on, Jesse. Don’t be like
that. I’m looking out for you.” Dan wiped at the sweat on his
brow.

“Daniel, I love him. Now will you walk
me down the aisle, or should I ask someone else to do
it?”

The marriage march started. Daniel
took her arm and she walked toward her future. When she saw Joe’s
face, she let all of her anger and frustration with Dan seep away.
The look of tenderness on her lover’s face righted her world.
Someone in the great beyond chose this man to be hers. She couldn’t
be happier.

Her thoughts went to her brother. He
should have been the one walking her down the aisle instead of
Daniel. But when her mood slipped, a ray of sunshine surrounded her
in warmth. She knew in her heart Fred stood with her and approved.
In fact, Fred might have been match-making from the
start.

Joe’s big hand engulfed her fingers.
Jessica smiled as peace settled over her. Joe had become her world.
She was home.

“By the power vested in me, by the
state of New Mexico, I now pronounce you husband and wife,” Isanti
Quiet Thunder intoned. “You may kiss your bride.”

Joe pulled her close and Jessica rose
up to meet his mouth as it descended. This Indian warrior was
hers.

Joe smiled. The reception ended long
ago and his antique Indian outfit returned to storage. Jessica lay
naked on the bed surrounded by rose petals. She’d been busy while
he took care of the garments. The tribe had fixed up the guest
cottage on the grounds of Isanti, Inc. as a romantic getaway for
the two of them. He’d have to thank the ladies of the tribe for
thinking of the rose petals on the bed. Jessica crooked her finger
and he gladly went to her.

He took her lips, sipping at them like
a fine wine. Jessica reached up and caressed his chest through his
shirt. Then with one quick jerk, buttons flew through the air and
his shirt hung open.

Joe pulled away from her luscious lips
and looked down at the ruined clothing. “Was that necessary?”
Jessica never ceased to surprise him. Her hands already explored
the planes of his chest.

“Too slow. Too many buttons.” She
reached up and licked the Running Bear tattoo over his left
pectoral muscle.

An electric shock ran through his
body. Every part of Joe charged. Jessica smiled and licked him
again. He groaned.

Breaking free of the reaction, his
hands became as frenzied as hers. Jessica undid his belt and
zipper. Joe helped her push his pants and shoes off. They both
panted, eyes wide.

Joe ran his hand down her stomach to
the red curls between her legs. He pushed in testing her readiness.
She was wet. He groaned again. She was killing him.

They went too fast. He should slow
down. He removed his fingers moist with her desire. Leaning down,
he licked her breast.

Jessica grabbed his shaft and aligned
him with her center. Her legs wrapped around his waist. Her nails
dug into his back. “Now, Joe! Take me now.”

Joe couldn’t say no. He grabbed her
hips, pulled her up and plunged deep, pushing past anything keeping
him from his goal. Jessica gasped. He froze. His body shuddered.
She was tight, and the pleasure almost painful. Swearing, he
waited.

“I’m all right. Move. Before I
explode,” she demanded. His little spitfire.

Joe slowly pulled back. Damn, she was
tight. He didn’t want to hurt her. He pushed in. Jessica moaned.
Her head tossed on the white sheets, causing the rose petals to
stick to her skin. He stilled, watching her face.

Her eyes flew open. If he didn’t move
she would kill him. Jessica dug her nails deeper into his back.
There’d probably be marks, but right now she worried about
connecting with her husband. She reached for his mind with her
telepathy.

“Move, dammit. Now. Give me
everything you’ve got.”
This being careful
thing ticked her off. Joe needed to realize she wouldn’t break. She
felt a twinge in her arm and tried not to let it show on her face.
Joe studied her.

She pushed her hips up urging him on.
Something in his face changed. He pulled her closer, his arms like
steel bands. He pistoned his hips, filling her past comfort then
retreating, again and again. Fire licked at her skin. She couldn’t
think. She could only feel. Her body tightened. Joe stared into her
eyes, daring her to look away.

She wouldn’t give him the
satisfaction. She licked at her dry lips. Her breath seesawed in
her lungs.
“More,”
she sent screaming into his mind. A wave built. She could
feel it cresting. But it needed a little push.

Joe leaned down and took her bottom
lip in his teeth. He bit down, before licking at the sting. Jessica
detonated. “Yes!” she screamed. Her body convulsed. Joe’s weight
held her from shooting off the bed. Pleasure poured in and through
her and then they connected telepathically, sharing the pleasure of
coming together. Jessica floated in ecstasy with Joe right beside
her.

“I love you, Mr. Running
Bear.”

Joe grinned. “I love you too, baby.”
He kissed her bottom lip and then her nose. “I’ll always love you,
Mrs. Running Bear.”
