"Please," I said. I hardly had enough breath to say the word.

On command, Asher tore off my pants. He threw them behind him and they landed somewhere on the dark beach. Now we were both naked. There was nothing to keep our bodies apart.

Even in the dark, I could see Asher's expression. His eyes swept over my body, taking in every little bit of skin. He saw me,
all
of me, and he hadn't run away. No. He was
smiling
.

He reached into his discarded jeans and pulled out a condom. Faster than I could see, he opened it and unrolled it on himself before laying over me. Asher's hardness pressed against my thigh. I felt him come closer, but then he stopped.

"You know, when I said that I wouldn't unless you asked me, I meant it," Asher said.

I looked up at him. For some reason, my heart raced faster than before. Did I
have
to? Couldn't he just
do
it?

Asher lowered himself onto me so that I could feel his weight pressing against my body. He brought his mouth to my ear and slowly licked the outside.

"Ask me," he said. His voice was a low growl that shot straight through me.

I hesitated and turned my face away so that I didn't have to look into his eyes. Asher grabbed my face in his hand and made me face him.

"
Ask me
," he said again.

I took a deep breath and held it. It felt like my insides were going crazy. I wanted him. I had for a long time. But…But what? I wasn't even sure what I was waiting for.

"Please," I said.

"Please what?"

"Please…" it took all my strength to say these two words, "fuck me."

Of course, Asher didn't hesitate.

"My pleasure, " he said.

He was gentle at first. Asher pressed into me slowly, filling me up, letting me feel the fullness of him. I won't say that it didn't hurt. It did. I bit my lip, hoping that it would only be a little longer.

When Asher finally pressed through the resistance inside of me, I screamed. He stopped and held me close, stroking me until the pain faded. And then he continued.

Asher pulled out and pushed back in slowly. Then, with each stroke, he was faster. And with each stroke my whole body trembled. I curled my toes and threw my head back, arching my body so that my skin pressed into his.

Asher gave one more thrust and I was over the edge. I couldn't help it. My moans echoed over the dark sands. It felt like my whole body would have blown apart if Asher wasn't there to hold me together.

When it was over, my body gave out. I slumped down onto the beach. All I wanted was to sleep with Asher holding me. I didn't need anything else.

"Looks like I didn't even need to rent that hut," Asher said and laughed. "I could have saved some money."

"Shut up!" I said. I picked up a handful of sand and threw it at him.

"Okay, okay," Asher said. "I've got one more little surprise for you. Let's see if it was worth it."

He reached into his leather jacket and rooted around in its pocket. I heard something snap open and shut, but I couldn't see what it was.

"Close your eyes," he said.

I did, and I felt him take my hand. Asher pressed something up my finger. At first it was a little tight, but eventually he made it fit.

"Okay, now open 'em."

When I looked down there was another ring next to the one Asher had given me before. This one was a plain, simple golden band. In the middle of it was a small diamond that glittered in the moonlight.

"What do you think, Ms. Clarkfeld?" Asher said.

I looked down at the ring and then up at him. It took a while for my brain to even put it together. There was no way it could be happening. Was this? No. It
couldn't
be…

"Are you going to make me get down on one knee?"

That's when the tears came. They poured down my face, but I was smiling. I couldn't even get out words.

"So?" Asher asked, "Wanna be my
permanent
old lady?"

I sniffled. "You already know the answer."

"What's that?"

"Yes!" I said. "Yes, yes, and yes!"

I fell into Asher's arms and he squeezed me tight.

"That's good, because I already ordered a new jacket for you," he said. "Property of Wild has a better ring to it, don't you think?"
