She nodded her head.

“I told Sandra about you, and one day you came
in while she was waiting to go to lunch with me. She recognised you.” She
tucked some of her hair behind her ear. This was the first time she’d ever been
open with a guy. She really liked
Leon
. There was a connection
between them, and she knew it could go as deeply as being in love, the type of
love that was instant and yet grew over time.

“I know I shouldn’t assume anything, but I thought
you liked me, too. I noticed you were always staring at me, and I know no one
can read that many books in such a short time.” He chuckled at her comments,
which helped her to relax.

“Do you want me?” she asked.

Leon
didn’t answer
straight away. He caressed her cheek, pushing a few strands of her hair behind
her back. “You’ve got such long beautiful hair.”

Her nerves were growing with every passing
second.

“You were right. I don’t read that many books.
I went to the library because you were there. I had no idea how to talk to you.
For the most part we didn’t talk. When I saw you at the club I couldn’t
approach you. Kink has rules for a reason. I knew you were a newbie in the
lifestyle.” He ran his hand over his face. Bernice waited for him to finish what
he was saying. Interrupting was not allowed. She’d already fucked up with the
rules. The last thing she needed was to upset him further.

“I don’t want to train you for another Dom,
Bernie. My intention with all of this is to keep you.”

Her heart soared. His words were exactly what
she wanted to hear, and they meant more to her than she ever expected. She
wanted to jump for joy, but instead she remained in his lap keeping her focus
on his words.

“I need you to look at me.”

She lifted her head and stared into his eyes.
She’d do anything for him.

“What do you want, Bernie?” he asked.

“To be yours.”

“Do you have any idea what you’re asking?”

“Yes, I signed that contract hoping you’d want
to keep me. I’m not completely stupid. Sandra told me about picking a Dom and
how it can change your life. I didn’t want anyone else to train me but you.”

“I claimed you, Bernie. The moment you walked
into the club I warned all other
Doms
away from you.
You were mine, and no one else was going to touch what was mine.”

Her heart hammered inside her chest.

“What does that mean?” she asked. Could she get
her hopes up? She had no idea what to do.

“It means I never intended to hand you over to
someone else. I always intended to keep you.”

“Then why draw up the contract with the club?
And why haven’t you approached me?” None of his words made any sense. If he
always intended to take her, why did she have to wait?

“The club has rules. You’ll come to see in this
lifestyle everything has a contract or some form of binding to protect all
submissives
.
Tyler
knew you’d picked me, but he has to abide by his code. You’re under his
protection no matter what.”

“Why didn’t you approach me?”

He took her hand in his and turned her hand
over to draw little circles against her palm.

“You’ve been like a scared little kitten. I
refused to go to you when I know you’d run away from me.”

She couldn’t argue with him. No matter the
attraction she’d have probably scampered from him at the first opportunity.
Time, anticipation, want and need had helped her to deal with her own issues.

“You needed time to grow accustomed to me.”

“And now?”

“We’ll begin your training tomorrow. I need to
make a phone call.”

“It’s late. Couldn’t Master Tyler wait ‘til
tomorrow?

Maybe she’d have time to call Sandra with a
warning.

“Sandra will get what’s coming to her. You’ll
stay here and get some rest.” He tapped her nose then got out of bed. She
watched him go for the stairs without putting on a bathrobe or anything to
cover
himself
with.

“Aren’t you going to wear something?” she
asked.

He chuckled without answering.

She lay back down, her heart slowing down from
the hammering pace of moments ago. Bernice wondered what it all meant. There
was no way everything could be solved that easily. She wished she had her cell
phone to call Sandra. She hoped the other woman wouldn’t mind. Sandra was her
only friend. The last thing she wanted to do was cause a problem.

Closing her eyes, Bernice wondered what the
future would bring. This was the first Christmas she’d looked forward to in
such a long time. It would the
first

Christmas
that she’d spend with the
man she loved. Did she love
Leon
?

She really thought so. He was the first man
she’d do anything for.

****

Leon
chuckled as he
walked down the stairs and over to where he’d left the cell phone. Her
attraction toward him was better than he thought possible. He couldn’t stop
smiling. Dialling Kink’s number he waited for
Tyler
to answer. He pressed the number that
would put him through to the main office, and
Tyler
answered on the fourth ring.

“Trouble in paradise
already?”
Tyler
asked.

“Not at all.
More like
trouble with a member of Kink.”
Leon
moved toward the fridge and poured himself a glass of fresh orange juice. He
glanced up to his bedroom to see if Bernie would be waiting for him.

The stairs were empty. For
her
own
safety he was pleased. He’d need to punish her tomorrow for talking
about him with her friend. Her training would be so much sweeter knowing she
wanted him to keep her.

“Do I even want to know?”
Tyler
sounded bored.

“The lovely Sandra gave up the goods to
Bernice.”

“So? I know I don’t allow gossip, but this
tidbit
played into your hands. I know you’ve had it bad for
your librarian for some time. There is no man I know who borrows ten cookbooks along
with three romance books per week.”

Leon
felt the heat fill
his cheeks. How the fuck did
Tyler
know what he rented out of the bloody library? Shaking his head, he poured
himself another glass full of orange juice.

“I thought
Andrew would like to know. He’s been after her for some time. She hasn’t caused
any problems, so punishment has not been necessary.”

“You’re a
bad man. All right, I’ll inform Andrew, and you enjoy your three weeks. Is that
all?”

“Yes.”

“Okay.
Good
luck,
and I’ll see you in three weeks.” The call
ended.
Leon
turned his cell phone off then finished his drink. He chuckled to himself
wishing he’d be at the club when Andrew was told of Sandra’s offense. That man
had been trying to get Sandra over his knee for some time.

He made his
way back up to the bedroom. Bernie was fast asleep by the time he made it back.
She lay curled around his pillow. Her hair was splayed over her own pillow, and
the blonde length called to him.

The
attraction was deeper than anything he ever thought possible.

Leon
lay down
on the bed, pulling her into his arms. She muttered something, and then her
arms wrapped around his waist. He stroked her hair as he looked at the ceiling.

This felt
right.
His woman in his arms.
He thought about
earlier, spanking the full globes of her ass. The sight of his hand print had
turned him on so quickly. The wet heat of her cunt had been hard to resist.

He wanted
to sink inside her pussy and take her to heaven and back. The last year of
knowing each other had been nothing compared to finally talking and touching
her. Her breasts pressed against his side. For as long as he could, he wasn’t
letting her have any clothing.

The time
passed while
Leon
listened to the woman in his arms sleep. He’d trained many subs in his thirty-five
years. None of them had ever interested him as much as Bernie. She was younger
than he by ten years, but the age gap meant nothing to him. He wasn’t trying to
regain his glory days through her youth. There was something about her that
called to him. It might be something as simple as his Dominant part calling to
her submissive side or his attraction to her beauty. But it was something more
than that.

He’d been
with women because of their natural submissive side or their beauty. None of
the other women made him question his future.

Leon
kissed
the top of her head. All of his thoughts would wait until the morning.

Chapter Five

Bernice
rolled over and stretched out her muscles. She’d not had such a good sleep in a
long time. Opening her eyes, she frowned. This was not her place. Her ceiling
consisted of a plain white wall. The ceiling had the wooden struts of a logged
cabin.

Then the
previous night came flooding back to her. Groaning, she rubbed her face.
Leon
was nowhere in sight. She climbed out of the bed and wrapped the sheet around
her body. None of her clothes were at the cabin. She’d given herself to a man
she didn’t know apart from the style of books he liked to read. How could a guy
who liked reading cheesy romances be a bad guy?

Stop getting all negative, Bernie. You wanted
this. Anything that happens is because you wanted it to.

Shaking
her head, she slowly walked down the stairs. She wasn’t well co-ordinated
without a cup of coffee. One wrong move and she’d be flat on her face at the
bottom of the stairs.
Leon
still wasn’t in sight as she walked down to the main part of the cabin.

Biting her
lip, she walked over to the window, and there she saw him. He raised an axe
above his head then brought it down with great force. She yelped as the log
resting on a tree stump split in two. From the looks of the ground there had
been a layer of snowfall throughout the night. Everywhere was covered in a
crisp white blanket.

He looked
up acknowledged her then broke another log in two. She waited patiently for him
to come inside. The cabin was nicely heated. She ran her fingers through her
hair to try to make herself look decent.

“Good
morning, baby,” he said, closing the door. The cold drifted over her skin
making her shiver.

“Good
morning.”

Their conversation
last night continued to play in her mind. Would the morning bring something
different?

Stop being negative,
Bernie.
You’re
here in the moment.

She tried
to listen to her inner self. It was a hard thing to do when she believed so
much negativity.

Leon
put the
logs into a pile near a burning fire. “I think we’re going to be snowed in this
year. I’m pleased I filled the freezer with plenty of food.”

“What
about electricity? If it goes out the food would be spoilt,” she said.

He
chuckled. “You haven’t been away from the city much, have you?”

She shook
her head, smiling.

“I’ve got
a back-up generator in case of any real problems. If it gets really bad then
emergency services will come to help us out. Everything will be perfect.”

Bernice
sighed.

“Did I
tell you that you could wear clothes?” he asked.

She
frowned.

He
gestured to the sheet around her body. Bernice watched him remove his jacket.
The heat of the room and the sight of him filled her with warmth. She was being
boiled from the inside out. Her pussy melted at the sight of the strength of
his arms.

She
recalled the way he’d picked her up and placed her over his lap to spank her
ass. Her ass burned from the memory. She wanted to feel his punishment again.
Up until a few months ago she’d never thought a spanking could be so erotic.
Now, she wanted to see if she could push him again.

Leon
walked up
to her. She saw the purpose on his face.
