Her hand stopped moving suddenly and I looked at her.

“What?” Then her expression changed, like she just remembered something. “Oh, I do have condoms…but they’re the Trojan Magnum Ecstasy condoms I got as a gag gift.”

I laughed and motioned down to my long, stiff cock. “I don’t think I’ll have a problem with that.”

Her eyes darted to my large erection and I saw the want in her eyes.

“Where is it? I’ll go get it.”

“In the top drawer.”

I got up and opened the drawer. Not only did I see the packet of condoms, I also saw something else I recognized. I pulled it out and showed it to her with a smirk on my face. “This looks familiar.”

She looked up at me and saw the pink fuzzy handcuffs in my hand. “Oh, that was a part of a gag gift my friend gave me with the condoms.” She blushed a hue of cherry plum.

I licked my lips and gazed at her lustfully. “Well the condoms aren’t a gag gift anymore, are they? Let’s convert the handcuffs too.”

I watched her reaction, wanting to see how kinky she was willing to get. She blushed a deeper red and giggled. But to my surprise, she put her wrists together in front of her and said, “Why not?”

“You never cease to amaze me, Alex.” I secured the handcuffs on one of her wrists. “Are you sure? Because you’re playing with fire when you let someone like me have free reign over your body.”

She gave me a sinful smile and nodded. “Very sure. I’ve told you before—I like playing with fire.”

I didn’t wait for any more encouragement. I moved the handcuffs over the middle bar of her bedframe at the head of her bed and secured the other cuff onto her other wrist. With her hands raised above her head, I moved on top her body and slipped on a condom.

I looked down and admired her naked body. “Baby, I’ve been waiting for this moment for weeks now.”

“Me too,” she moaned as she arched her hips up toward me.

I lowered my body on top of her, purposely rubbing my erection along her inner thigh but never entering her. She struggled with the handcuffs that held her hands above her head as she writhed under me and tried to move her hips up to meet me. I watched her squirm with great pleasure and felt a surge of power from delaying the gratification she desperately desired. I wanted to tease her, to make her feel half the agony she had put me through in the past month.

It took all of my willpower to resist the urge to thrust into her with all that I had. I leaned down and buried my face into the base of her neck. The uneven rasp of my breathing blew through her hair as I positioned my cock in between her inner thighs, pushing the tip against the entrance of her warm, wet pussy. “How much do you want it, baby?” I growled into her ear.

“I want you now,” she whimpered. “God, please.”

I lifted my head and looked into her eyes. I wanted to see her reaction when my cock was inside her for the first time. She looked up at me, her eyes filled with molten hot intensity, begging for me to satiate her. I let out a primal groan as I entered her, pushing the full length of my cock into her sweetness. She screamed and I felt her body expand for me as her muscles tightened around me. I drove in and out of her, deeper and faster with each thrust, in time with her gasps and cries.

After several minutes, I began to spasm as an onslaught of intense pleasure I’d never experienced crashed through my body. I jerked my head back uncontrollably as my muscles tensed.

“Fuck, I’m about to come, Alex.”

I opened my eyes and saw her face twist in pleasure, but I knew she wasn’t close to coming yet. Against all reason, I stopped and pulled out of her. I knew if I’d stayed inside her another second, I would have exploded in her and experienced one of the most intense orgasms I’d ever had.

Why the fuck did I just pull out?

I knew the answer.

She was right in front of me. The beautiful woman that made me want different things, that made me want more. As much as I’d tried to ignore it and fight it, I knew I wanted her to climax first.

“Did you come?” she asked.

I shook my head. I was panting as I crouched over her lower body, trying to focus on anything else but her naked body. I needed to steady my erection and delay my orgasm. I could smell her sweetness emanating from between her inner thighs, and for a split second, I wanted to plunge my tongue into the depths of her silky wetness, to drink her intoxicating essence.

“But why did you pull out then?”

“I want to watch you orgasm first.” I looked up at her and there was a spark in her eyes.

“Can you remove the handcuffs? I wanted to hold on to you when I come.”

I chuckled. “You just want your way with me.”

“That too.”

When the handcuffs came off, she stood up and pulled me up. I groaned in pleasure when she moved her leg over my lap and straddled me as I sat on the edge of the bed. She gasped as my cock disappeared deep inside her. Her nails dug down my back as she violently rocked her hips up and down my erection, slowly at first, but with more force and speed each time I entered her.

“Oh my God, Damian. I’m about to…” she whimpered as her breasts bounced wildly against my chest. But before she could finish her sentence, her body began to heave and convulse in my arms as she arched her back in pleasure.

“Come for me, baby,” I commanded as I plunged deeper inside her, pushing her off her precipice of ecstasy.

As her muscles tightened around my cock, my body convulsed uncontrollably as I reached the edge of my own orgasm. “Fuck! Damian!” she cried as her nails dug deeper into my back. When I heard her scream out my name in the throes of pleasure, my whole body was consumed with a high I’d never experienced before, and within seconds, we crashed together into the abyss.

We collapsed into each other’s arms on the bed. Alexis looked over at me with a wide grin on her face. “That was—”

“—fucking amazing,” I finished for her. I pulled her into my arms, and within minutes, we both started to drift off. Just before I slipped into a deep sleep, I whispered, “God, Alex. I can never get tired of making love to you like that.”

CHAPTER THIRTEEN

Alexis

EVEN BEFORE I OPENED MY EYES, I could sense the heat of his body next to mine. My body still tingled from all the places he had touched last night, and I felt deliriously happy and sore. I opened my eyes with a permanent smile on my face.

“Good morning, sleepyhead,” came his rich, soothing voice. He was propped on one elbow, staring down at me with those alluring blue eyes.

“Good morning.” I beamed at him and rubbed the sleep off my eyes. “Have you been up for a while?”

“No, not too long,” he said vaguely. “Do you know that you have a cute smile on your face when you sleep?”

“Really?” I flushed. “So exactly how long have you been watching me sleep?”

“Not too long,” he answered, giving me the same vague response.

“Creeper.”

He chuckled. “So I probably shouldn’t say what I was just thinking then.”

“And that is?” I eyed him suspiciously.

“That I could watch you sleep all day long,” he managed to say between fits of laughter that shook his entire muscular frame.

“Do I need to get a restraining order already?” I teased.

“I think we’re safe for today.” He got up from the bed and I watched him put on his briefs.

No morning sex?

“Where are you going?”

He leaned down and kissed me gently. “I have to open the bar today, so I gotta run.”

“Oh.”

He must have sensed my disappointment. He sat down on the edge of the bed next to me and brushed a few loose strands of hair behind my ear. “Trust me, I would much rather stay here and do unthinkable things to you,” he said seductively with a raised eyebrow, “like watch you sleep.” He laughed and leaped out of bed, just in time to avoid the swat of my hand that was aimed at him.

“Creeper,” I said again.

“Well this creeper has to go to work. Feel free to stop by and say hi.” He winked at me. “I know you’ll miss me.”

I rolled my eyes. “Don’t be so sure.”

“I’m sure.” He walked to my front door and opened it. “I’ll have a Sex on the Beach waiting for you.” He gave me a smug smile before closing the door behind him.

I sighed and laid on my bed, replaying in my mind everything that had happened last night. I still couldn’t believe that we’d had sex last night. I wasn’t the type of girl that slept with a guy so soon after meeting them, but last night, in the comfort of the darkness, when I felt his rough hands on my skin, the need that had grown in the pit of my stomach took control and I’d found myself struggling between wanting him inside me and wanting to wait until after a few more dates.

My phone beeped just then.
A text.

I grabbed my phone from the bedside table. It was a text from Damian. I giggled in delight when I saw his message:

Last night was amazing. I’ll be thinking about those pink handcuffs today. ;)

I quickly shot back a text:

It was definitely amazing. I’ll be thinking about those Trojan Mangum Ecstasy condoms today. ;)

Later that afternoon, hours after Damian had left, I was still in a state of euphoria—that pure, unadulterated state of mind where I just felt remarkable, like I’d taken a dizzying drug that I hadn’t come down from.

I was itching to share my happiness with someone. I picked up my cell phone and knew exactly who I wanted to call.

No, it wasn’t Damian. I might have been falling for him hard, but I would never admit that to myself this early on. Plus, I would never give a guy—especially a guy like Damian—the satisfaction of knowing I was that interested in him.

No, I didn’t call Damian. I called my best friend, Deb.

“Hey, California girl! How’s life at the beach?” Deb asked with her usual cheerfulness.

I laughed. “I don’t live at the beach, Deb.” I hadn’t realized how much I had missed my best friend until now. We’d known each other since middle school, the year before I lost my parents, and she had met me before I was “that orphan girl.” And even after my parents passed away, she had always seen me for who I was and not who everyone else had seen when they looked at me—a lonely orphan girl who deserved their pity and sympathy. She had been my rock during some difficult periods of my life, and I loved and missed her.

“What? Aren’t you right by the beach?” she asked in disbelief. I realized that this was the same shock I had felt my first week in San Francisco when I found out that it wasn’t true.

“Well, I’m a few miles away from the coast, but it’s not like the beaches you see in pictures or on TV. It’s pretty rocky and cold near the beaches in San Francisco.”

“I thought you guys didn’t have winters there?”

I laughed again. It was early December, and it was sunny and in the low 60s. “They have a mild winter here, so it doesn’t snow or get too cold. But San Francisco doesn’t get too hot either. So the beaches aren’t what you imagine from what you’ve seen on TV,” I tried to explain.

“I knew it was too good to be true. TV always lies,” she pouted sarcastically.

I shook my head and giggled. “The nice, warm beaches are in southern California, like Los Angeles and San Diego.”

“Oh, you should move there. Then I’ll visit, and we can lay out on the beach and watch hot surfers do whatever they do as they walk around half naked all day.”

I laughed.

“So seriously, how’s everything over there? I haven’t talked to you in weeks, and the last thing you mentioned was getting locked out of your apartment and having sushi with some hot neighbor.”

A wave of guilt washed over me as it dawned on me how long it had been since I’d called Deb.

“Well...” I began.

What
happened?” she asked instantly, knowing from the tone of my voice that something indeed had happened since we had last talked.

“Damn,” I responded with a laugh. “You know me too well.”

“So spill it!” she demanded.

I giggled. “Well, you know the goodbye care package you got me before I moved?”

“You didn’t!?” she interrupted me, knowing exactly where I was going with the story. “What happened?”

“Let’s just say, your care package was put to good use.” I giggled and blushed as I thought back to everything that had happened last night.

“You did! I told you they’d be essential items for your new life in California! What did you use? The whip? The dildo? The anal beads?”

“No, no, and definitely
no
,” I laughed.

“What then?”

“The condoms and handcuffs,” I said sheepishly.

“The Magnums?” I could hear the disbelief in her voice. “Who is this sizeable stallion? And he actually agreed to use the pink fuzzy handcuffs?”

For the next hour, I filled Deb in on everything that had happened with Damian in the last few weeks. When we ended our call, I felt more excited about Damian than I had an hour before and a strong urge to see him overcame me.

He did say to stop by the bar if I wanted
, I reasoned with myself.
One drink won’t hurt.
Before I could talk myself out of it, I grabbed my keys and purse and ran out of my apartment to head down to the bar.

When I walked through the door of Damian’s, he immediately looked up and saw me from across the bar. His eyes lit up and a wide smile appeared on his face.

I flushed and a warm tingling sensation spread down my body. I wanted to believe that his reaction was because of me, that the twinkle in his eyes was only for me, and that the mesmerizing smile spread across his face existed just for me. I wanted to believe that, in some cosmic way, there was a special place in his heart—a warm, enduring, and
permanent
place—reserved just for me.

But I quickly pushed these thoughts aside. I didn’t want to allow myself to become too hopeful. I couldn’t allow myself to care for this man more than I already did. Nothing good came out of thinking there was something more there than there really was.

When I sat down at the end of the bar, he already had a Sex on the Beach ready for me.

“Hey, gorgeous, did you miss me?” he asked seductively as he leaned against the bar counter and pulled me in for a kiss. His husky voice and tantalizing kiss were filled with promises of hot, earth-shattering sex that he knew I couldn’t say no to.
