Leontes wanted that first bottom-fucking of Thaleia to go on forever, but he knew his spear-brother was waiting for a turn, so he let his lust command him, and began to ride the bottom harder, delighting, to his distress and yet his ever-mounting arousal, in the cries of discomfort from his beautiful mount. At last, shouting, “Apollo!” he found bliss, and held himself in, grasping the bottom cheeks and kneading them around his cock as he shot his seed.

He pulled out, and Theoleon, driven nearly mad with lust over the scene, was there immediately. Leontes would have feared for the safety of Thaleia if Theoleon had not been so aroused that almost immediately he too shot his seed into her backside. Shouting “Gods!” he shuddered against her, and then was still.

Thaleia sobbed with shame and, Leontes thought, with a strange kind of pleasure so great it seemed to transfigure her face. On a sudden whim, Leontes said, “Touch yourself, lovely Thaleia. Show us how wicked you are.”

Theoleon looked at him, clearly approving of the idea. “Yes,” he said, “touch yourself, Thaleia.”

They watched in rapture as Thaleia reached her hand back between her knees, and began, without need of further urging, to rub her little furrow frantically, up and down and then right at the bud atop it. “Oh, gods… oh, gods…” she moaned into the blanket.

Leontes could not help himself. He spanked their sweet girl. “Naughty!” he said. He looked at Theoleon, who seemed to agree with his experiment in discovering what Thaleia craved, and brought his own hand down on her bottom. “Naughty!” he said.

Thaleia screamed as they had never yet heard her scream, and found such bliss that she could not hold her limbs steady, but fell on her right side and lay there, hiding her face in shame, eyes closed, panting with the climax.

Chapter Thirteen

For the third time, Argeia waited upon the sleeping couch of Apollo. For the third time, she heard the song of welcome.

But she knew, with a thrill, that tonight was very different. Lord Apollo came to breed her, tonight. He had promised, and Lord Apollo always kept his promises. A little hero of Argeia’s own, to watch over: the child of Apollo. Apollo’s sons always had some special gift, of healing or of music or even of prophecy.

As she turned herself to the position in which Apollo liked to find her, she imagined her first invisible visit down to her little hero’s foster home, of how (her cousin had told her) the baby would still be able to see her, and would only gradually lose that ability as he grew older. And he would always feel her presence as a strength and a comfort, even when he had grown to manhood and begun to do his mighty deeds.

She felt Apollo’s hand on her bottom. Argeia had been so lost in her fancies about the hero to come from her that she had not even heard him come in. Now she trembled at his touch as if she had not spent the previous two nights upon his sleeping couch as Apollo taught her how to please him. “Argeia,” the god said, and did not say more, for his hands seemed to speak for him, as he quickly roused her, made her wet and eager for him.

Apollo turned Argeia onto her back. Wordlessly, he moved her limbs and positioned her, so that she was holding herself open for him, with her hands on the backs of her knees. He looked into her eyes from his position between her legs. The god said nothing, but suddenly Argeia realized that she could tell from his very expression exactly what he was thinking.

Argeia knew with absolute certainty that Apollo thought her lovely. She knew from his eyes that the desire was upon him to do the deeds of Eros with her all night. She knew that the thought of giving her a son by him aroused him more than he could ever say in words.

So when Argeia watched Apollo bend his head downward, his eyes still locked on hers, and bring his lips against her little furrow, the pleasure he gave her felt like a magical gift. She felt her back arch and her hips move upward, trying to bring more of her secret places into contact with his questing tongue. Argeia felt like the god was anointing her with his mouth, consecrating her and preparing her to receive him there. He tasted her for a very long time; Argeia could not even guess how long. She found bliss more times than she could count.

Finally he raised her up, moved her gently over, and put her on her knees beside the sleeping couch. He sat upon the couch, still without a word, and with his hands commanded her to pleasure him with her mouth, placing those hands possessively, one on the back of her neck and the other on the back of her head, not pulling but rather urging her to gratify him as he had gratified her.

Now it was Argeia who kept her eyes locked on Apollo’s, as she bent to her own task. As she took him deeper inside her mouth than she ever had before, she realized that Apollo was teaching her a kind of conversation. The closeness he wished to share with Argeia tonight went beyond anything words could ever express. There had been many words of explanation and of command the previous two nights, but tonight, Argeia suddenly knew, would take them beyond that, not into the realm of the wordless beasts, but into a realm far above even the Olympians. She suckled at his cock, moved her head up and down, and then released him, and licked all the way up and down and under, seeking out the wrinkled purse that held the seed he would bestow on her tonight. The god groaned with pleasure. He laid his hand atop Argeia’s head, and guided her to take his cock into her mouth once more. He twisted his hand in her long black hair, and moved her head up and down upon him.

At last he pulled her mouth gently off his cock, and raised her up from her knees. He urged her onto the bed, and positioned her with an authority that seemed to make Argeia’s furrow flow wantonly. He put her upon her knees on the sleeping couch and bent her down. He turned her face to the blankets, and Argeia remembered what he had said, the night before, about her looking and her not looking. She felt the head of his cock at the place where her grotto began. The god entered her hard and began his rhythm. Argeia cried out, for Apollo was riding harder than he had ever ridden her before. Pleasure seemed to emanate from his divine cock all the way through the grotto and the little bud atop it. He thrust much deeper into her than he had when he had taken her this way on their first night. The pleasure of his cock mingled with the discomfort of how deep he was thrusting and seemed to create even greater pleasure. In her wordless cries, she heard herself say to him, “Please, lord… Please, lord.”

And at last she heard him say again, simply, “Argeia,” in a gasp of pleasure that told her he was about to give her the precious gift of his seed.

Apollo shuddered. Then his body seemed to go completely rigid, and Argeia felt his cock pulse inside her as if it were a living creature of its own, with its own heartbeat. She felt the hot seed spurting into her furrow, where it would start to grow, and she knew somehow that the process of growing the little hero inside her had begun.

For what seemed like an eternity, Apollo stayed there, holding Argeia’s hips and stroking them gently. “Argeia,” he said again softly.

Wordlessly still, he guided her from her knees onto her side, and they lay facing each other on the sleeping couch, with Apollo’s arms around her. The god looked into Argeia’s eyes. She felt suddenly like she could scarcely keep them open, and so the last thing she saw before she fell asleep was the god of light’s blue eyes looking straight into hers.

Long before dawn, he woke her, stroking her arm gently until she opened her eyes and saw his once again the same way they had been before she slept.

“How long?” Argeia asked.

“About four hours,” Apollo replied, gently.

“And have you been awake the whole time?”

“You know we Olympians don’t need sleep,” Apollo said. “We do enjoy it from time to time, but we feel no ill effects if we do not have it.”

“Yes,” Argeia said, “but have you really been here for four hours watching me?”

“I like to see,” Apollo said simply. “You know that.”

“And what did you see?”

“I saw a beautiful girl, full of my seed.”

Argeia giggled. “Thank you, lord, for this great gift,” she said.

“You are welcome, sweet Argeia,” Apollo replied. “It is time for us to talk of things to come.”

“Oh,” said Argeia. She did not know what Apollo meant, but his tone was serious.

“Thaleia has been brought to Delphi, and she has received her prophecy. It will take her and her Spartans some time to figure out what the prophecy means. Before long, though, she will grow big with her hero, just as you grow big with yours.”

“Really?” Argeia asked, with excitement. “Thaleia is going to have a baby too?”

“She is,” Apollo replied gravely. “And I must warn you, Argeia, that her son will be greater than ours.”

Argeia knew she should not feel slighted, but she could not help the hurt that stole into her heart at the god’s words. Thaleia got to roam the lands of men. Thaleia got to have two faithful protectors. Now Thaleia got to have a greater son, even though Argeia had lain with Apollo himself.

“But ours will be great?” Argeia asked, trying desperately to find her way back to happiness.

“Indeed,” Apollo said. “But I can see into your heart, Argeia. I know that it will hurt you, that you sacrificed so much for your sister, and her son nevertheless will become greater than yours.”

“But I haven’t sacrificed anything!” Argeia protested, trying to deny what she knew she felt. “I have had the lord of light for three nights, and I shall have a little hero by him.”

“You do not feel it now as much as you will feel it,” Apollo said, “I know. And that gladdens me. But I know, too, that even now you do feel it. You came to my couch unwillingly, and you will remember that. And though you will not forget how much pleasure we have taken in each other these past three nights, you will come in the end to regret them, though it will be for you to decide how much that regret will sting you. Though I love you, Argeia, you know that I am not permitted to keep a wife or a lover.”

Argeia felt sorrow clutch at her heart. She had known of course that Apollo had a special lot where the deeds of Eros were concerned, and might not stay with any woman, but she had deceived herself into thinking she might have him for a while yet anyway. “It is over, then?” she whispered.

“It need not be entirely at an end,” Apollo said. “We may come to one another’s couches many times over the years. But at daybreak today, you will go to Hera, and she will take you to Hestia’s palace, where you will stay until your son is born. After that, you will dwell again in the palace of your father, and watch over your lakes and our little hero. You will be lonely, and for this, above all, you will envy the lot of your sister Thaleia.”

Argeia felt tears well up in her eyes, “Because she will have her Spartans,” she whispered. She felt the truth of the words of Apollo. She already felt envy, as she thought of the great prize that her giving herself to Apollo had won for the sister who could simply have yielded to Zeus and spared them both all this trouble.

“Yes,” Apollo said. “But there is brightness ahead, through the sadness you will feel. I cannot say for certain, but I think you may find happiness again in your love for your sister and for our son.”

“But, Lord Apollo, do you not know? Are these things not laid out before you?”

“Such things are not in the tapestry of the future that I have ever before my eyes, Argeia. And since you are a goddess, your freedom will ensure that what happens in the end is not predictable. But I have a wisdom that goes beyond prophecy. I know the hearts of gods and men, and I know the ways of the cosmos. That wisdom tells me that you could be very happy with Thaleia and her Spartans. You will stay with them, invisible, and as the years go by Thaleia and her Spartans may be able to feel you more and more strongly. It may even be that you will share in their joy, at the last.”

“But, lord,” Argeia asked, “am I not bound to be with my little hero, and forbidden to roam in the lands of man? How shall I be able to be with Thaleia in Sparta?”

“That is in the tapestry,” Apollo said. “These cousins, your son and Thaleia’s, will live in a single house. Your son will foster with hers.”

“Oh, lord, you have saved the best news for last, have you not?” Argeia said, laughing, happy again at last despite the envy that still gnawed.

Apollo smiled. “I try to do so always,” he said. “Now come kiss me, and let us do the deeds of Eros one final time, before we part.”

Argeia kissed him, and then to her surprise he turned upon his own back. She saw his beautiful cock spring up from his loins.

“Climb atop me, Argeia,” Apollo said. “I want to watch you ride to your bliss.”

Argeia swung her leg over Apollo’s hips, and positioned herself so that her furrow came up as it should against the head of the god’s cock. She whimpered a little at the soreness of the place from the exertion of the evening, but she was afire to feel the delights this new posture might offer.

Apollo took her little bottom in his hands and guided her gently downwards, as she gasped at the lovely sensation. She put her hands on his powerful hairless chest and began to ride, crying out from the very beginning at the extremities of the pleasure, as she pushed herself up and down upon his cock.

Apollo made Argeia ride him to climax after climax. He made her ride until her thighs burned and she begged him to let her dismount, and then, finally, after she had screamed out her bliss for what felt like the thousandth time, he said, “You have earned your rest, my love.”

He lifted her off him and laid her tenderly down by his side, and she drifted off to sleep with him stroking her hair.

When Argeia awoke, his chariot was already high in the sky.

Chapter Fourteen

Leontes and Theoleon woke Thaleia before dawn. As they prepared to depart for Sparta, they discussed the prophecy. Thaleia realized almost immediately that Leontes and Theoleon were both feeling as shy as she did about what it might mean. Their conversation began with general statements about the majesty of Apollo’s temple, and the wisdom of the high priest, and the sounds that had come from the Pythia down below. It seemed that none of them wanted to be the first to mention the name in the second line of the prophecy, or to speculate on what it might mean.
