Cookies (The Not Neiman Marcus $250 Cookie)Makes 112 cookies
Preparation time: 25 minutes
Baking time: 10 minutes per cookie sheet
2 cups butter
2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups brown sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 cups flour
5 cups blended oatmeal (see note)
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
24 ounces chocolate chips
1 7-ounce milk chocolate Hershey bar, grated 3 cups chopped nuts
Cream butter and sugars together. Add the eggs and vanilla. Mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Add chocolate chips, grated Hershey bar and nuts. Roll into balls and place 2 inches apart on a cookie sheets. Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees.
Note: Measure oatmeal and blend in a blender to a fine powder.
