Police cars, fire engine, engines running, noise. The entrance to the mill is brightly illuminated by strong floodlights.

Glaring artificial light inside the place too. On the floor an injured woman, bleeding profusely. The emergency doctor kneels on the floor beside his patient, swiftly tending her wounds. Trying to stop the bleeding with wound compresses and pressure bandages.

The paramedics are ready with the stretcher.

‘She's stabilized now. You can take her away. Don't worry, looks worse than it is. She'll make it.' The emergency doctor stands up, leaves the woman to the paramedics, who carefully place her on the stretcher.

Access to the cellar is secured by the police with red and
white tape. A uniformed officer stands beside this barrier waiting for his colleagues from the police records department. There's a corpse in a plastic sack in the back room of the cellar.
