Repeat steps 1–5 until all stitches are bound off.

If working in the round, insert the tapestry needle through the very first loop you made, just after the setup, from front to back. Snug gently, then weave in the tail.

Working the Bind Off in K1, P1 Rib

Start with a knit stitch at the tip of your left needle.

Insert the tapestry needle knitwise through the first 2 stitches on the left-hand needle, dropping the first stitch.

Pull the yarn, leaving a loop before the first stitch (the one just dropped).

Bring the tapestry needle from back to front through the loop of yarn, making sure the loop is not twisted.

Snug gently by pulling the tapestry needle horizontally to the right.

Insert tapestry needle through the next 2 stitches on the left-hand needle purlwise and drop the first stitch from the needle.

Pull the yarn, leaving a loop before the first stitch (the one just dropped).
