“Stand
up and turn around,” said Nick.

Alpha
she-wolves
had never been for him, but
luckily
he was pretty sure Maisey was the type of wolf who’d
do exactly what he asked.

As
predicted,
she turned around. Lucas
scooted in front of her, now sitting where
she’d
been
planted on the leather couch just seconds ago. She leaned over allowing him to
play with her nipples as they hung down close to his face. Nick ran his fingers
through her crack, tickling her anus before parting her cheeks and then in one
easy thrust pushed his cock deep inside her.

Maisey
leaned over so she could kiss Lucas, causing her butt to rise and enabling Nick
to push inside her a few more inches. Nick held her hips and closed his eyes,
knowing that he was in for the best ride of his life.

****

Lucas
loved the way her cute little toes curled upward when she was nearing her
climax. They
hadn’t
known her or her body that
long,
but it was already clear to see when she
got excited, what excited her, and when she wanted more pleasuring.

Right
now
she was on the verge of a massive
orgasm. Her nails sank into his forearms as Nick pounded into her. The sound of
their flesh slapping against one another echoed around the cabin.

She
flung her head back, putting her face toward the ceiling and gave one the most
wonderful of wolf-shifter howls he’d ever heard. That alone was enough to turn
him on and make him hard. Any female who could howl like that was definitely
mate material. The room grew brighter, and as Lucas glanced
outside
he saw the full moon reflecting through
the window.

When
Nick found his own
release,
he slapped
her butt making her laugh.

Lucas
was hard from the scent and sound of her, and he
didn’t
want it to go to waste.

“Straddle
me baby,” he whispered to her.

She
sat across his lap, being so slick from her last round of sex with Nick that he
was able to
slide
deep within her. She
looked happy as she bounced up and down, groaning every so often.

Nick
sat beside them and just watched this time. Probably loving the view of Maisey’s
large breasts bouncing up and down, their nipples turning dark and hard the
louder she groaned.

He
raised his hips, meeting her downward thrust as she whined and then howled and
howled which made him thrust more wildly.

Lucas
held himself up, reaching the back of her pussy and
that’s
all it took for him to find his release. He howled too and even Nick joined in
until the three of them lay intertwined on the floor, their howls turning into
laughter.

“That’s
a gorgeous full moon,” said Maisey, pointing to the glass ceiling.

“So
how was losing your innocence?” asked
Lucas.

“It
was wonderful and thank you guys for providing me with the best night of my
life…so far.”

****

Maisey
sat in Nick’s bath splashing her pussy with warm water but guessing it would be
of little help. She
hadn’t
told the guys but when
she’d glanced down at her
belly,
her
mating circle was almost joined with just a fraction of space between both
ends.

Bile
rose in her throat. She stood and quickly turned on the shower, pulling the
spray attachment down and aiming it at her pussy. Shit, even that was turning
her on and probably doing nothing to avoid her getting pregnant. Maybe it had
happened after Lucas had slipped his cock out of her. Maybe the water had
washed away any semen still lingering. She
bit
her lip, realizing what an amateur she really was with all this sex and mating
cycles, despite the birds and bees talk.

“You
okay in there?” It was Lucas’ voice. She knew that for sure. At least she was
able to tell one
guy’s
voice from the other. Another rush
of guilt washed over her. Two
guys
.
She’d
just done the wild thing with two men.

“I’m
fine and I’ll be right there,” she called back.

They
probably both wondered what she was up to when
she’d
asked to use Nick’s bathroom and taken off at lightning fast speed. She looked
at herself in the mirror, hoping that
they’d
been
mistaken and that the circle wasn’t complete yet.

She
grabbed a towel and wrapped it around her body, wondering if she had conceived
which one of the
guys
had actually done the deed. She
didn’t
know either one of them that well, hadn’t even been
on a date with either one of them, but for some strange reason she already had
a preference for Lucas fathering her future offspring.

He’d
been the first
one to find her and maybe her scent had found her a mate.
Happy
ending
but what if Lucas didn’t think of her as his intended mate?
What if Nick had gotten her pregnant?

Her
clothes were still out in Nick’s living room. Damn, she just wanted to
get
dressed and run away as fast as she could. She opened
the bathroom door and walked down the hallway and out to the kitchen to see Lucas
and Nick both sitting on stools and drinking beer straight from the bottles. Both
were now fully clothed which was perfect because seeing their gorgeous but naked
bodies might put mind into further turmoil.

They’d
been chatting
away but suddenly both men fell silent when they noticed her standing there.
The uncomfortable silence continued.
She’d
been warned
that once guys had what they wanted, you were history.

“I’ll
just get dressed and make my way back to my parent’s cabin,” she finally said.

Nick
stood. “I’d ask you to stay the night and stick around for breakfast but I
might get tempted to have sex and I guess by now you might be on your cycle.”

Oh yeah, could
have happened sooner
than
we
’d
thought.

“I
have to get going too,” said Lucas. He stood up. “Thanks for that great chili,
e-mail that recipe.”

“Sure
will,” said Nick.

Maisey
headed to the living room where her clothes sat on
a chair
by the fire. Both men were now behind her. She let the
towel drop, suddenly conscious of her naked body. She put her clothes on so
quickly she was sure
she’d
put both legs in just one
opening of her panties, but she didn’t care, she’d hobble out of here if she
had to.

“I
can walk you back to your parent’s cabin. My truck isn’t far from there,” said Lucas.

“No,
I’ll be fine. I’m a big strong wolf when I have to be.”

“Wouldn’t
think of letting you walk through the woods on your own. In fact, you either
say yes or I carry you over my shoulder,” he responded

Holy
shit, she loved the sound of that.
Him carrying her for the
second time today.
The big alpha slinging her over his
shoulder and trekking through the woods.
Definitely mate material.

“We
might all see one another at Dane’s wedding,” said Nick, walking both of them
to the door.

It
would be great seeing them
again,
but her
parents would be there. They still kept with the ancient shifter tradition of
communicating through their minds and were experts at reading other’s thoughts
when they had to. What if they read all three of their minds and found out
about the threesome and the sex on the homemade quilt?

“Yeah,
that’s possible,” was all she could say.

“Night
Nick,” said Lucas.

“Take
care both of you.”

A
tear ran down her cheek as they made their way down the path from Nick’s cabin.
If she did get
pregnant,
she only had
herself to blame.
No yoga studio for her.
No starting her own business.
The moon was still bright and
she
didn’t
want Lucas to see her crying as they made
their way through the trees. Her parent’s cabin loomed ahead and so
far
neither she nor Lucas had said a single word. If he
thought of her as his
mate
wouldn’t he be talking
non-stop, maybe asking her out?

“Are
you having regrets about tonight and what we did?” he finally said.

“No, absolutely not.”

Liar, liar wolf
pants on fire.

“I
have to say it was fun and not just because of the sex. It was great hanging
out with you and Nick,” she said.

Especially you.

They
arrived at the door of the cabin.

“I’d
talk you into letting me stay the night but as Nick said, you’re too much of a
temptation.”

She
bit her lip and nodded, making the tears splash onto her chest.

“Hey,
you’re crying?”

“No, just the cold air getting to my
sinuses.”

He
leaned
over and kissed her
and pulled away. “I’ll see
you next weekend and let’s talk then.”

Talk,
did that mean what she thought?

“Sure,
I’m looking forward to it.”

She
pulled out the key from her pocket and quickly opened the door, waving to Lucas
before she rushed inside. She put her back against its panel, pressing hard
just to be sure she could feel it and prove that she
wasn’t
dreaming or in this case, having a nightmare.

Her
body had led her into a dangerous situation.
No, no more
bullshit.
She’d
put herself into that spot. So
how do you wind back the clock so you
didn’t
end up
making the biggest mistake of your life?

Chapter Eight

Nick
woke up and saw the sun peeking through
a gap
in the drapes in his bedroom. At this time of the
year,
it had to be late in the day. He sat up, feeling stiffness in
his legs and remembering
he’d
had quite the workout
the night before.

He
put his hands behind his head and smiled. Besides the sex, it had been a
fun
night. Lucas seemed like a good
guy
and they had lots in common.
And
Maisey, she was young and had dreams. Dreams he might be able to help her
fulfill. She was gorgeous and sexy but somehow, and
he’d
been trying to deny it, but he felt like she was Lucas’ mate.

He
got out of bed and wandered into the kitchen. He squinted in preparation for
pulling the drapes over the kitchen sink, and just as
he’d
thought, the sun blared at him. He strolled over to the coffee machine and
turned it on. He never went to bed without setting the whole thing up so he
could have a cup of
joe
first thing in the morning at
just the touch of a button.

He
leaned against the island in the kitchen and waited for it to brew.
Yoga studio.
Did Kalispell really need one? Did it already
have one? Had Maisey checked it out? He knew what it was like to be around
people who
didn’t
understand your dream.
He’d
never had to worry about parent’s pressing him to do
something that wasn’t in his heart, and it made him sad and bitter that he’d
lost his family. Maybe
that’s
why he was sometimes too
harsh when he spoke about humans. It
wasn’t
their fault
they’d crashed to Earth. Well, as far as he knew it
wasn’t
,
but he somehow connected losing his family to humans.

He
shook his head, thinking back to Maisey and her idea. He was always looking for
new businesses to invest in and maybe they could help one another out.

Nick
poured himself a mug of coffee before sitting down and firing up his laptop.
Maybe
he’d
do some researching of his own. Maybe he
and Maisey
weren’t
destined to be romantic partners—yeah,
he still felt Lucas would fill that role—but nothing said they couldn’t be
business partners in her dream venture. He already had
the name
for it, Downward Facing Wolf. Now he
was being
just plain silly.

Yoga studios-Kalispell he typed into the
search engine.

Lucas
smiled when he opened his e-mail and saw the chili recipe.
He’d
love to try it out and invite Maisey over for dinner. Well, that was if Nick
didn’t
want to ask her out. Maybe
he’d
invite both of them when they met at the wedding and they’d take it from there.

Lucas
checked the rest of his mail and saw a second one from Nick.

You mentioned
you’re
looking for work and you did carpentry jobs before
you were in the army.
Interested in some construction work?
If so, call me and
I’ll
give you all the details.
And
if you’re not doing anything you want to go look at some
property that might make for suitable yoga studios?
