Pop! Pop! Pop, pop, pop, pop!
Tony dove to the left and shouted, “Flaco, stop! It’s me! Fuck!”

“Oh shit, Tony,” he said as he stood, pulling on his pants. “What the fuck are you doing here, Tony?”

“No, the question is: What the fuck have you gotten into that has a bunch of young boys shooting up your crib?”

Flaco responded, “I swear, I don’t know who the fuck those bitch motherfuckers are! Don’t say shit to me about that, Tony!”

Then Toney looked around the place. He saw the mountain of heroin and drug paraphernalia on the table. “Look, Flaco, I can’t have you back at the Cigar Bar, man. You’re done! You should pack your shit and go back home, man. This shit ain’t for you here, man. Look at you!”

The two girls emerged from the bedroom, one carrying the other. “Flaco, I’m gonna take off, but I’ll see you at the party,” she said, carrying Shalice out the door.

Tony just shook his head. “Go home, Flaco! Go home!” He turned and walked out of the same bullet-riddled door that the two girls had just exited.

“Fuck you, Tony! I’m not going nowhere! Fuck you!”

Sasha sat in her rented vehicle and waited for everything to unfold. She followed Tony back to the club. She observed him drive to the back, disappearing into the darkness. Sasha waited to see any sign of him. She left her car and walked into the darkness. Sasha was like a stealthy cat, and she jumped from the fire escape onto a small ledge. Tony and Becky had no clue that they were being watched.

Sasha sat there as Tony approached Becky. He put on some jazz. George Howard’s “Baby Come to Me” played softly. Sasha was intrigued as she spied on the couple. She surmised what was about to go down, and although she knew that she needed to call Spazo, she thought,
Hey, why not enjoy myself?

Becky walked in front of Tony. Her pert, sexy, young body was amazing. Tony grabbed her shoulders and slowly pushed her down.

Sasha needed to get a better view. She couldn’t see Becky’s full beauty, so she jumped from one roof to the next. Just like a cat, she climbed down and sat there purring in the dark, her pants unbuttoned. She slowly inserted a finger into her wet, dripping pussy as she watched the scene unfold in front of her. She let out a deep moan and pictured herself slicing the throats of both Tony and Becky. She moaned loudly, then covered her mouth, hoping no one heard.

Becky was now on her knees in front of a pantless Tony, and she was completely naked. She balanced herself on his thighs as she swallowed him whole, which was quite a feat since Tony wasn’t a small man between his legs. Sasha found herself fantasizing that she was underneath Becky, slurping on her hotbox as blood dripped from their bodies onto her. She opened her mouth to receive the taste of blood. She watched Tony thrust deep down the girl’s throat. Sasha became so wet that a spot began to show on her pants.

Then she felt something else.
Boom-boom!
Thunder and lightning followed the rain that fell hard on her, but it didn’t stop her from stroking her clit. In fact, it turned her on even more.

Tony picked Becky up and turned her around. He guided her over to the bed and positioned her where her ass was high in the air. He got down on all fours and began to eat her, and she screamed out in ecstasy. He was enjoying eating her more than she was enjoying the tongue lashing. He buried his face deeper into her, trying to lick her ovaries.

Then a flash of lighting sparked, and, through the mirror, Tony swore that he’d just seen somebody out on his fire escape. “What the fuck?!” Tony hopped up fast was at the window, gun in hand. He snatched the curtain open farther than it was, aiming his gun, ready to shoot.

But there was no one there. The soaking-wet Sasha was back in her car and was already driving down the road. Tony thought that he had to be imagining it. He closed his curtains and went back over to Becky.

“What’s wrong, Tony?” Beck asked.

“Nothing, nothing. I thought I saw something on the fire escape, but I must be going crazy,” he said.

She said, “Well, could you do me a favor and, uh, bring your crazy ass back over here to finish?” Her ass was still perched high in the air.

“Oh shit! Yeah, right, I’m sorry, baby!” Tony said, pouring his still-hard penis deep into Becky’s wetness. “Damn, girl, your pussy is fuckin’ hot!” he said, amazed at how good those sugar walls were feeling.

Becky was now standing on her toes, backing up and moaning loudly. “Ahh! Oh! Oh God, Tony! Oh damn, baby! You’re fuckin’ working it!” she screamed as Tony humped up and down, trying to spell out the alphabet with his dick.

While they were getting deeper into their lovemaking session, Sasha was informing her people. “Yo, Spaz, we got him!” she said as she sucked her fingers, tasting the remaining drops of her secretions. “Mm!” Sasha moaned out loud into the mouthpiece of her phone.

“Yo, bitch, what the fuck you moaning about?” Spazo asked.

Sasha caught herself. “Oh, I saw a sign for a burger joint, and that shit looked good! That’s all.”

“Yeah, right! You forget, I know your creepy ass! Did you kill somebody?” Spazo asked.

“No, I didn’t kill nobody! What the fuck, Spazo?!”

“Well, I know. When you cummin’, you like to kill a motherfucker and bathe in his blood, and that is some fuckin’ sick shit, Sasha! I don’t give a fuck how fine your ass is! You really be doin’ some serial-killer shit! You might need to talk to somebody about that crazy shit; that’s not normal behavior.”

“Yeah, whatever, nigga! I’m on my way back, Spazo.”

“Okay, cool! See you when you get back, baby girl.”

As she drove down the highway, Sasha thought about what Spazo had said. She began to have visions of blood and gore. “Ahh, oh!” She felt a tingle between her legs.

Sasha was one of the prettiest women around, with a deep coffee complexion and amazing dimples. She was simply gorgeous—and rich, thanks to the GC Crew. She was their main assassin: ruthless, cunning, beautiful, and very deadly. If you got lucky enough to have her, be grateful because it’s the last sex you would ever have because you would no longer be alive. Most of the time, when she killed a person, it was during pleasure because the feel and smell of blood gave her the wildest orgasms ever. She liked to slice the neck, and while they choked on blood, she’d take some of the sticky, sweet blood and rub it on herself and even taste it. And, thanks to the GC Crew, she always had work, which also means she was always having orgasms.

Sasha smiled and said, “Fuck it! I like what I like!”

She continued her drive to the hotel, and by the time she arrived at their suite, Ghetto had already mapped out a takeover plan. When it came to building and expanding the empire, Ghetto was the takeover type. He didn’t care who you were; he had thugs who went in silently, found out info, and executed people for turf.

“Come check this shit out,” he said. “Sasha, I need you to go holla at them young boys you saw. Shoot up the Spanish boy’s crib and see how they living. If they poor, throw some bread at their fuckin’ asses. If they true, well, you know what to do.” He took a breath, then continued. “Spazo, me and you are gonna sit on this motherfucker for a week or two. While we’re here, you’re gonna help me get out of these baggy clothes, man. Show me a couple suits, dig? With what Sasha’s saying, this place is pretty classy, and I wanna fit the part.”

“Yeah, the way I always do, motherfucker!” Spazo replied as he plucked the collar of his $500 shirt.

“And don’t worry about Dawn,” Ghetto chimed in. “I think that motherfucker is falling in love with her, and you see he’s not gonna hurt her. I figured while we’re here, let’s see if we can’t set up shop and get this paper. All we gotta do is find the wildest niggas out here and we straight.”

“I hear you, G, but there’s only one problem. I checked that out already. Them crazy-ass SD Seventeen gang boys run this shit. We have to go to war, man, I’m pretty damn sure.”

“No problem,” replied Ghetto. “I already sent for the troops. They should all be here by next week. And you know Sasha, with her fine ass, is gonna get what we need.” He slapped her ass while she walked by, headed to the bathroom.

She said, “Touch my ass again like that, Ghetto, and you better be ready to fuckin’ back it up, you pretty motherfucker. You know I like your gangster ass.”

“Damn, baby girl, I can’t believe I never hit that,” he said, biting his lower lip.

“Trust me; you don’t wanna do that,” Spazo said.

“Why, nigga? ’Cause you still in love with me? Is that why, Spazo?” she asked, jumping on the bed next to him. “Go head and fuckin’ admit it!” Sasha smiled.

“Uh, no, because you might make a mistake and kill his ass, that’s why!” They all burst out laughing, and Sasha continued to the bathroom.

When she came out, Ghetto wanted to know what Sasha had seen. “For one thing, that money that y’all down here looking for, I’m pretty sure that’s how he opened up that club. But the Puerto Rican boy, he’s on the outs with your boy, and from what I saw, the boy’s fuckin’ strung out on heroin and pussy,.”

“Cool,” Spazo chimed in.

“Also, they’re having a concert there in three weeks that’s gone be huge.”

I saw some of the shit he did to a couple of chicks when they were passed out,” Sasha said, shaking her head in disgust.

“That’s on you, man,” Spazo replied. “Besides, he knows who we are. If he sees us, it’s on from there.”

“Now, Spaz, my man, take me shopping!” Ghetto said.

“Cool. Let’s ride.”

Sasha said, “I’m gonna stay here and get some rest, fellas.”

“Sure, baby girl.” Sasha rolled over and closed her eyes.

CHAPTER 13

Back in Queens

• • •

“Wait here; I’ll be right
back,” Don Veto directed his bodyguards. He was going to visit his brother’s wife and lay some cash on her. He knew that it had been hard for her since his brother’s death. He also knew that she had received life insurance, but he wanted to give her a monthly stipend.

As he walked up the driveway, he noticed the brand-new 300 C-Class Mercedes. He figured that she had company, but who? He knew everyone and no one he knew owned that car. He approached the door and opened it.

“Daniela, you in here?” he called out.

“Veto,” she said. She greeted him in the living room, walked over, and hugged him.

He looked around the house. “Uh, whose car is that in the driveway?”

“Oh, that’s my car. Tony helped me buy it.” She realized when she said that, she had made a mistake. Tony had instructed her to never mention him, especially not to Uncle Veto.

Veto screamed, “What!? Where the
fuck
is he?”

“Oh dear, I don’t know,” she said. She was telling the truth. Tony had set up a bank account for her and had even called to have the car delivered to the house. She gave Don Veto the bank info.

“How could you protect him after all he did to that little girl?” he asked with anger and disappointment.

“She wasn’t a little girl when she was willing to go downstairs with him! And Tony didn’t hold a gun to her head. Besides, he’s my son!” she said proudly. “You would do the same for yours, and you
have
done the same over the years.”

Don Veto looked at her. He shook his head disbelievingly, then pulled an envelope from his pocket and threw it on the table. “This is money that the yard would have brought in. I figured I’d give you half so you can take care of the house and stay on your feet…but I see you’re doing just fine. I’m gonna keep this.” He paused. “You know what? This is for my brother, so every month, you’re gonna receive this.” He dropped it back on the table.

“Thank you,” she said.

He turned and, as he walked out, she added, “Please don’t kill my boy! Your family’s blood runs through his veins.”

Don Veto stopped on the porch after hearing this. He looked over at her brand-new car, shook his head, and thought to himself,
What the fuck you been up to, Tony?

He called his right-hand man. “Hey, Sal, we gotta take a trip.” He finished the call and decided to go and check on Paulie and Sherry. Both of them had completed a 30-day drug-rehab program and were back home.

Don Veto gave Paulie a position in his family since Spazo took over all of his assets. Sherry had gone back to being that pretty girl that everyone knew. She was now in her ninth month of pregnancy, and she prayed that it was Tony’s baby she was carrying. She swore to never forget the hell that she’d gone through, and she vowed to never to do it again. Sherry rubbed her big belly and smiled.

The doorbell rang and Sherry waddled to the door. “Hey, Uncle Veto,” she greeted Veto.

He gave her a kiss on the cheek and asked, “Where is your brother?” She pointed to the basement. He looked at her with a bit of sadness. “How have you been, Sherry? Is everything okay?” he asked, placing a hand on her shoulder.

“I’m okay.” She smiled brightly.

It just melted
his heart. He looked at her stomach and thought about all the crazy things this young girl had been through, and here she was smiling. He dug into his pocket and pulled out his bank roll. Veto peeled off $2000, put it in her hand, and said, “Go buy yourself something nice. Hey, I don’t ever wanna here about you fuckin’ with that other shit. Capisce?”

She smiled. “I promise, Uncle Veto.” They hugged each other warmly.

“Now, you get outta here. I gotta talk to your brother,” Don Veto said. Sherry slowly bounced her way down the hall in a childlike manner.

Don Veto made his way to the basement. He heard the clacking of balls, so he knew that Paulie was down there perfecting his craft. Paulie was one of the best pool players around. However, once he became a drug kingpin, he had no time to shoot, but that problem was taken care of. Paulie was thinking about everything that had happened, and, out of frustration, he threw the pool cue ball across the room. He hadn’t seen the don coming down the stairs. Don Veto reacted like a cat hearing a loud bang. He dipped down and just barely got grazed by the cue ball.

“Hey, whoa! What the fuck?!” Don Veto screamed. Paulie realized his mistake and apologized. “Don Veto, sorry ’bout that! I didn’t know you were here.”

Veto asked, “What the fuck was all that about?”

“Just thinking about a lot of shit, that’s all.”

“Well, ease your mind,” Don Veto replied. “I got some fuckin’ news for you. I found your neighbor and we’re gonna go pay him a visit.”

Paulie got excited. “What? Where is he?”

“Take it easy! I’ll let you know everything on the trip. Pack a fuckin’ suitcase.” Don Veto turned to head back upstairs. He thought about Sherry and wondered if she’d be okay there alone.

“I’ll call her sponsor and have her keep tabs on her, but I have to say, she’s been doing pretty good. She’s mainly concerned about the well-being of her bastard child that belongs to your nephew,”

“Well, this is why I gotta ask you. This could affect her as well. Do you wanna tell her?”

Paulie replied, “No, I think we better keep that under wraps. I don’t want her knowing anything about this motherfucker!”

Upstairs, listening through the door, Sherry stood. Her heart began to beat furiously when she found out that they knew where Tony was. She wondered how she could get them to take her along. She had to see him, and she was going no matter what.

Then she thought about the money he had given her. Sherry had $2000. She ran to her room when she heard them coming upstairs.

“Sherry, come here,” Paulie said. “I have to take a little trip with Uncle Veto. We have some business to take care of, you know.”

“No, I don’t know,” she said. “What kind of business?”

“Listen, just chill,” he said, feeling like he was being grilled by his little sister. “I’ll see you when I get back.”

She asked, “Well, when are you leaving? Where are you going? How can I contact you if something happens?” Sherry fired off a string of questions before he could answer one.

“Stop!” he yelled, gently pushing her back and placing her on the bed. “Sherry, sit down. I’ll only be gone for maybe a week or so.”

“Okay, and while you’re gone, what am I supposed to do?”

“Sherry, I don’t know. Please stay here and relax. I called your sponsor, Jenny. She agreed to come stay here with you until I get back.” He kissed her on the forehead, then reached into his pocket and pulled out $300. He put it in her hand, not knowing that Don Veto had also given her some cash.

Sherry agreed and threw the money in the drawer with the other cash. She turned the TV on loudly. She pulled out her cell and dialed Monica, a girl she’d met in rehab.

Monica was a crazy, racially mixed girl. Her father was black and her mother was white. She was pretty and that’s why she and Sherry got along in rehab. They were equals, with the only difference being that Monica had been doing drugs for over ten years. She was still pretty because she only indulged with big-time drug dealers who gave her whatever she wanted.

“Monica, I need you, girl.”

“What up, Sherry?”

“Do you have a car? And if so, can you get away for a week or so?” Sherry asked.

“Damn, for real? This is kind a sudden, don’t you think?” Monica asked with curiosity.

Sherry pleaded, “Yes, I know, but you’re my only fuckin’ hope! I know, with what the fuck I have to do, I need somebody crazy on my side. And besides, Monica, I don’t know nobody else. Please help me. I think they found my Tony.”

After hearing that, the girl said, “Damn, that’s fucked up! How can I say no to you after all that shit? All right, what the fuck you want me to do, Sherry?”

“Okay, there’s a path on the other side of my house. I need you to meet me there in an hour. Is that cool?” She hung up and walked into her brother’s room. She looked and saw his suitcase on the bed. “So, wherever this mysterious place you’re going, are you gonna need swimming trunks?” she asked jokingly, trying to get him to ease up. It worked.

“No, we just have to go take care of something, that’s all,” Paulie said as he walked to the closet and took three shirts off their hangers. He tossed them into the suitcase.

As he turned to go to his dresser, Sherry hid her phone in a pair of socks and slipped them in his suitcase.

She kissed her brother and said, “Okay, well, have fun!” She scurried back to her room, hoping that she had given herself and Monica enough time. She placed her cell phone in his suitcase so that she could use the phone tracer to follow them. She watched the clock closely as she heard her brother leave. “Twenty minutes. Oh shit!” The doorbell rang. It was her sponsor and she had to let her in. Sherry decided to play sick so as not to be bothered; that would give her more time.

“Hey, Jenny.”

Her sponsor was an older white woman who was willing to help out in any situation. She did everything possible to help keep a person clean. Jenny truly was an angel.

“How are you feeling, girl?”

“I’m okay, Jen. I can’t wait to get this baby out. I feel terrible..”

Jenny said, “Really? Huh, that baby starting to get on your nerves?” She placed her hand on Sherry’s huge belly.

“No, this boy just won’t let me rest or anything. I been throwing up and shit. Fuck this shit! Why do women have to go through this pregnancy shit? It should be the men, with all the fucking shit they do!”

“Well,” Jen replied. “God gave us the ability to have children because he knew we could handle it. We are stronger than men.” She hugged Sherry. “All I can tell you is to hold on, okay?” Jen dug in her bags and pulled out a couple of AA books. “Listen, while you’re in there, do a little reading if you can. I was hoping while I was over here, we would be able to work on steps three and four. But I’m not going anywhere, so when you feel up to it, come on out, and we will get started.”

“Okay, that sounds fine,” Sherry responded. She faked nausea, pretending that she was about to throw up, and ran to her room.

“Poor child,” Jenny said, going into the living room and sitting down on the couch.

Sherry peeked through the door. “Fuck!” She was hoping Jenny would turn the TV on so it would be easier for her to sneak past. She had pulled out the
Big Book
and started reading. “Fuck! Fuck!” Sherry said. She turned her TV up louder and peeked through the door. She noticed that Jenny was looking her way. “Dammit!” she said, looking at her watch. Five minutes before Monica was due to arrive. She paced back and forth in her room.

At her door Jenny asked with concern, “Are you okay in here, Sherry? I’m just checking up on you. I know you’re not feeling well.”

“I’m okay. I’m laying down but it’s uncomfortable, so I have to keep moving,” Sherry lied.

“Do you need me to come in there and help you with anything?”

“No, I’m fine, thank you.”

“Okay then,” the lady said, walking down the hallway.

Sherry took the opportunity to sneak past her as Jenny was walking away. She grabbed her laptop and the cash. She ran down the basement steps and out the back door of her house. Monica was pulling up as she cut through the alley.

“Damn! For a pregnant girl, your ass was moving through that alley like police was on your ass. Shit, come on and get in, girl!” Monica joked.

“Hey,” Sherry said as she got into the car. She instantly opened up her laptop.

“So, where are we heading?” Monica inquired.

“I will tell you in a second, Mommy,” Sherry replied, pulling up her phone-tracer app.

“Bingo! We’re going here,” she said, pointing to the computer screen. It showed a location about five miles from where they were, and the signal was moving. It was obvious that they were tracking a moving vehicle.

Monica stepped on the gas. “I got this.”

“They’re somewhere around here,” Sherry said as they entered the highway. “Shit, I think they’re going to the airport.” Sherry straightened up, looked at all the money, then at Monica. “Hey, Mo, I got a question. Can you ride with me ’til the end?”

“Sure,” Monica replied, “but what does it include? You know,
the end
and shit?”

Sherry showed Monica a picture of Tony. “I’m trying to save the life of my child’s father. I love him more than life itself. If my Uncle Veto and my brother get to him before I do, I know they’re going to kill him.”

Monica sat up and smiled. She pressed the gas pedal and headed toward the airport. “Well, we better hurry the fuck up!”

She came up with the plan. Since Sherry’s brother and uncle didn’t know her, Sherry was to wait outside while Monica stood online right behind Don Veto’s security. She found out that they were taking a plane to Seattle. The best part was that they were taking a later flight. Monica took Sherry on an earlier flight so that they could set up out in Seattle to follow them when they got off the plane. Sherry let Monica know that Don Veto wouldn’t do anything he needed done; someone else did for him.

Then Monica understood. “Wait a minute, bitch. You got me out here about to fuck with some mafia-ass motherfuckers? What the fuck did your baby’s daddy do that would have the fuckin’ mob chase his ass across the country?
Shit!
I don’t know about this shit.” She shook her head, not believing the situation that she got herself into.

“We talkin’ some real, live shit now. Mafia cats don’t play. And you know something: I knew you and your brother were some big-time somethin’. He was the only person in rehab that didn’t have to go to any fuckin groups! He was only there to keep an eye on you, and the counselors didn’t say shit to him either. Well, what the fuck happened, Sherry?”

As they boarded the plane, Sherry started from the beginning and told Monica every detail. The flight was six hours long, so she had time to catch Monica up on every sordid detail. Sherry also learned a lot about Monica. Sherry was happy that she’d found a friend in Monica.
