Clark, Rachel - Alicia's Awakening (Siren Publishing Ménage Amour) (19 page)

In a few moments they would take her together in front of the whole club, fucking her joyously as she screamed in delight. Then afterward, in front of a smaller group of friends, he and Doug planned to place a collar around her beautiful throat and publicly make a lifelong commitment to their little sub.

He smiled when Bryce stepped closer and offered his congratulations. Fortunately, Doug chose that exact moment to order Alicia to climax so she would have been too distracted to notice. She was going to be pissed when she learned that everyone but her knew how special this night was going to be, but as he and Doug had spent many hours proving, Doms didn’t have to ask. They were the ones in control after all.

“How’s Casey?” he asked Bryce, still watching Alicia as Doug began tormenting her all over again.

Bryce gave him a tight smile, but it was clear that something was bothering him. “The doctors are planning to release her in a few days. She’s decided to stay with her sister and her sister’s husband until she’s well enough to cope on her own.”

“I suppose that’s good news,” Lachlan said carefully. He’d known Bryce and his brother, Grant, had offered to take care of Casey when she was released from the hospital—and she would have been in very good hands—but he wasn’t surprised that she would shy away from living in the home owned by two intimidating Doms.

Once a sub’s trust was broken it was very difficult to earn it back—even for the Doms who’d never played with her. Lachlan had known Casey for only a few years, but he considered her a good friend. The fact that she’d been wary of him when he’d gone to visit had felt like a physical blow. It was awful to see a woman who’d once been comfortable and fulfilled while living this lifestyle to have that happiness stolen from her.

He gazed at his woman suspended by soft ropes, covered in sweat, and wearing a contented smile, and silently promised that she would never know what it felt like to have her trust broken.

Smiling, Lachlan stepped onto the stage, pressed a kiss to Alicia’s mouth, and happily leaped into the future he’d always hoped for.
