“I’m scared too,” Reid wraps his arms around
my body, pulling me closer to his. “But whatever happens, we’ll get
through it together. Remember, I’m following you. Nothing’s going
to separate us, right? We’re in this to the end.”

I nod against his cheek.

“I love you, Fallon,” he kisses my forehead.
“Nothing will ever change that.”

“I love you, Reid,” I whisper, and running
my hand over my stomach, add silently to myself,
and you
too…
