It was too late now, so Elise grabbed
the bags of food that she bought at the market and headed to the
front door where Maggie told her to enter. Before she could knock
on the door, Ronald opened it up to let her in. “Good afternoon,
Ms. DePaul. Maggie told me you were coming over. You can put your
groceries in the kitchen. Would you like me to let Mr. Watts know
you’re here?”

“Nah, I’d like to surprise
him.”

“I understand. Just follow the music to
find him.”

Elise smiled, “Thanks
Ronald.”

When Elise stepped into the home, her
mouth dropped open. She was standing in a huge tiled foyer that was
nearly as big as her townhome. To the left of the foyer was a large
traditionally designed sitting room with a huge piano in the
corner, and to the right was a dining room with a table that sat
twelve. In front of her, there was another sitting room with a
fireplace which was the direction that Ronald pointed her in. The
sound of Elise’s espadrilles resonated on the tile floor as she
walked into this massive home. She suddenly felt underdressed in
her Hudson jeans and tank top. She made her way through the sitting
room and saw that the kitchen was through another set of doors off
to the right of the fireplace.

His kitchen was decked out with every
stainless steel Viking appliance one could think of and had a more
contemporary feel to it. The cabinets were all white with black
granite slab countertops that lined the perimeter of the kitchen as
well as a large island in the center of the room. There was an
eat-in area that seated eight and four stools that lined the island
where Elise placed her groceries.

She heard loud music coming
from behind a door off to the side of the kitchen. It was Alice in
Chains
Man in a Box
, if she wasn’t mistaken. That’s what Ronald meant by
follow the music
. She
opened the door, and the music was now blaring. The door led to
what looked like the basement of Trey’s home. She walked down the
stairs following the sound of the music.

When she got towards the bottom of the
staircase, she stood there and watched a very hot, very sweaty Trey
sparring with what looked like his trainer. His hair and body was
drenched in sweat, and his face had a red tint to it from the
exercise. He didn’t have a shirt on so his ripped muscles were all
visible, leaving Elise’s mouth watering. He was the epitome of
brute strength and watching him train was sexy as hell. Elise’s
felt short of breath and a little light headed.

His campaign manager, Paul, was sitting
on a stool near a bar area thumbing through his phone. When he
looked up and saw Elise, he was caught off guard but greeted her
with a smile. He waved her down the stairs to join him in the bar
area, which Elise did. Trey looked over at Paul then whipped his
head over in Elise’s direction. He motioned to his trainer for a
break then walked over to the entertainment system to turn down the
music. Elise suddenly felt bad for interrupting his
workout.

“Hey! This is a nice surprise.” Trey
said as he walked over to Elise with a huge smile on his face. He
bent down lifting her chin with his glove and gently kissed her
lips. He tasted salty, and it was a huge turn on.

“I didn’t want to interrupt you. I just
wanted to let you know that I was here.”

“Is it 5:30, already?”

“No, there’s been a slight change in
plans. I’ll be cooking dinner for you tonight. I twisted Maggie’s
arm so she could help me execute my plan.”

“Really. Well, I like this surprise.
I’ll have to give Maggie a raise if she keeps this up.” Trey bent
down and kissed Elise’s lips again. He was standing in front of her
blocking the view of the other gentlemen in the room with
them.

Elise went to touch Trey, but he pulled
away from her quickly. “Elise, I am so sweaty. I really need a
shower.”

Elise lowered her voice, “Yet, all I
want to do right now is run my hands all over your sweaty body. You
have no idea how big of a turn on it is to see you like this.”
Elise put one hand on Trey’s abs and ran it slowly up his chest.
His body was hot to the touch, and the sweat caused Elise’s hands
to glide effortlessly over his chest.

“Training session over! Have a good
evening, gentlemen!” Trey was smiling down at Elise, and it was
like he was reading her mind. Elise put both hands around Trey’s
waist and pulled him close to her. She hugged him tightly letting
her hands travel up his large wet back as he wrapped his arms
around her. Trey’s sweat was all over her cheek, neck, and chest,
and she loved it. Trey must have too since his very large shaft was
now stabbing her in her stomach.

Paul and the trainer said their
pleasantries and quickly headed up the stairs. As soon as the door
closed Elise ran her hands up around Trey’s neck and pulled him
down into a passionate kiss. She wanted him … now, and she wanted
him just like he was.

Trey was shaking his hands behind
Elise, trying to get his gloves off. She heard one hit the floor
and then Trey pulled off the other one. He grabbed her legs and
hoisted her up around his waist continuing to kiss her deeply as he
carried her across the basement.

Trey dropped her down on a leather
sectional couch that was on the far side of the basement. He was
wearing his sexy-ass half smile as pulled off Elise’s shoes and
threw them over his shoulder behind him. He began unbuttoning
Elise’s jeans and ripped them quickly down her legs. He laid his
hot sweaty body on top of her and took her mouth with force. He
wanted her just as badly.

Elise shrieked with excitement when she
felt Trey move her panties over and guide large shaft into her
until he was buried inside her. She wrapped her legs around him and
cried out in pleasure. He was rough and raw, and that’s exactly
what Elise wanted. She explored his skin with her hands as Trey
pounded into her over and over again. Elise came quickly, and from
the looks of it, Trey wasn’t far behind. She was crying out his
name loudly when she felt his body tense and spasm, tightening his
grip on her hips.

Her hands were in his hair holding him
to her chest as he tried to catch his breath. “Maggie….is
so….getting….a raise.”

Trey stepped out of the shower and
wrapped a towel around his waist. Elise must have started cooking
because there was this wonderful smell emitting from the kitchen.
He threw on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt and headed downstairs to
find her. When he got into the kitchen he saw her bending over
looking into his bottom cabinets.

She was barefoot, wearing white linen
shorts and a hot pink cami. Her hair was still slightly wet from
her shower but was drying into these pretty natural waves. He was
tempted to slide those white shorts down her legs and take her
again right here in the kitchen. He wondered if there would ever be
a time that he wasn’t dying to get inside her.

“What is that wonderful smell?” Trey
said as he walked into the kitchen.

Elise looked over her shoulder,
“Empanadas. Do you have a baking pan?”

Trey smiled, “Yes. Two cabinets
over.”

Elise walked over and opened the
cabinets finding the pan she needed, “Sorry, I feel bad about
digging through your stuff, but your kitchen is huge.”

Trey walked up behind Elise and put his
arms around her. “Don’t feel bad about anything. I want you to feel
welcomed here.”

Elise put the baking pan on the counter
and then turned to face him. She began running her hands up and
down his chest. The look on her face told him that she had
something on her mind. Instantly, his nerves kicked in.

“Trey, I love you. I am so sorry that I
thought I couldn’t tell you last night. I was being
stupid.”

Trey hugged Elise closely to his chest
and breathed out a sigh of relief. “No you weren’t being stupid.
You were hurt, and I get it. But, I saw it in your eyes. I knew
deep down you still loved me. Don’t get me wrong, I was scared. I
just couldn’t stop thinking that you were going to get onto that
plane to France and leave me forever.”

“How did you know about that?” Elise
leaned back to look up at him. Her face was serious, and she looked
like she was getting upset.

“I really think we need to talk since
we have been in a whirlwind since Saturday.”

Elise nodded her head. “Ok.” Trey and
Elise both took a seat at the island kitchen. “So how did you know
that I bought that ticket to France?”

“Well, can we start further back?
Specifically to Friday afternoon.” Trey knew this probably would be
a hard conversation.

“Why Friday?” Elise looked
confused.

“Because that’s the day that Rixby came
to my office in New York.”

“WHAT!” Trey closed his eyes and took a
deep breath. He prayed Elise didn’t walk out the door because he
didn’t tell her immediately. He felt Elise’s hands on his face
causing him to open his eyes. “I’m so sorry. Why didn’t you tell
me?”

“First of all Elise, don’t apologize.
It was before the red carpet event. He came in and told me to leave
you alone because he wanted you back.”

“You’re kidding.”

“No, and he threatened to go to the
press when I told him I wouldn’t.”

“Go to the press about
what?”

“Your relationship. Specifically, the
fact that it occurred while he was married.”

Elise was shaking her head. “That’s
low.”

“That’s what I thought. So anyway, when
I threw him out my office, he threw down the gauntlet saying may
the best man win.”

Elise had a small grin on her face as
she bit her bottom lip. “You threw him out of your
office?”

“Not physically. I mean … I wanted to.
The asshole put his feet up on my desk.”

Elise covered her mouth, “No
way!”

“Yes.” Trey’s jaw clinched at the
memory of Rixby’s designer boots on his desk. “Pissed. Me. Off.
But, I played it cool and told him to get out.”

“So what does all this have to do with
my trip to France?”

“I’m getting there, Elise. I promise.”
Trey leaned over and kissed her cheek. She was being really good
about everything so far. “So anyway, Rixby showed up at my office
in D.C. on Monday.”

“This is unbelievable. I cannot believe
that this is the first I’m hearing of all this.”

“Elise, this is the first time that we
have had a chance to really sit down to talk about all this. I
wasn’t about to mention Rixby to you last night when I found you on
the couch, or this morning when I was leaving.”

Elise rubbed her hands up and down her
face. “You’re right. Go on.”

“Ok, so Monday I thought Rixby was
there to brag about Saturday, but he was there to tell me that he
was sorry about everything he did to you on Friday and that I had
“won”. When I realized that I was a fucking moron for not letting
you explain what happened on Saturday, I panicked to try to find
you. Your New York number was disconnected, you weren’t answering
any of your phones, and Jeremy and your mom didn’t know where you
were. So Ronald pulled up information about you that the Secret
Service seems to research when someone gets close to the family,
which is a whole other story all together. One of the pieces of
information he had was your credit card transactions. It listed a
purchase on British Airways which we found out was a ticket to
Paris.”

“Wow. So let me see if I got all this.”
Elise’s eyes were blinking rapidly as she processed the
information. “So Rixby confronted you at your office before he did
all that shit on the red carpet.”

“Right.”

“Then Monday he comes by and apologizes
and says that you won me, right?”

Trey nodded his head. “That’s
correct.”

“So, you tried to find me and you
couldn’t. So you called Jeremy, who I heard threatened to put a hit
out on you, and he couldn’t find me.”

“Right, again. Jeremy is really upset
with me.”

Elise held her hand up in front of him
telling him to pause, “We’ll get to that in a second.”

She paused for a few seconds, “So
lastly, Ronald had a magic way of pulling up information on me,
including my credit card transactions which led you to me here and
also let you know that I purchased a ticket to France. Does that
sum it up?”

“Ronald will appreciate the fact that
you think he’s magical, but yes, I guess it does.” Trey held his
breath waiting for her response.

“You really went through all that
trouble to find me?”

Trey slowly nodded his head, “Yes, and
I would have done more if I didn’t find you.”

Elise shrugged her shoulders and was
shaking her head. “Trey, I don’t even know what to say right
now.”

“Are you angry with me?”

“No, not at all. I’m touched
that you went through all that trouble. I’m pissed at Rixby and
thankful at the same time.” Trey furrowed his brows at that
comment, but Elise wasn’t having any of that. “Don’t start with the
Rixby shit! I wasn’t up to be
won
in the first place. I was all yours. I’m thankful
that his pompous ass was humbled enough to apologize to you and not
to me. Jerk! Plus, you wouldn’t have come for me if he wouldn’t
have gone to your office to apologize.”
