Devil She Became (Devil's Angels Book 1) (24 page)

“What do you mean, Salvatore? Do you have some kind of problem with me or my family?”

Salvatore feigned confusion. “Why should I? I don’t know them or you.”

Harrison nodded. “Okay, I get it. You have some type of jealousy towards me because I am rich. Is that it?”

Salvatore’s face burned hot. He stood up.

“No, I don’t. I just don’t like you coming in here thinking that because you have all this money, you are better than the rest of us.”

Now Harrison stood up to face him. “I don’t think that. I never did. I have no idea what you are talking about. Reese, did I say something to indicate that I felt that way?”

Reese looked up at him. “No, not at all.”

Meg looked from one man to the next. “Boys, please sit down. Salvatore you are getting all upset for nothing. Harrison is a delightful young man who loves my Reese. He had said nothing about his family’s wealth until you brought it up.”

Reese pulled Harrison’s hand until he sat down. Salvatore reluctantly took his own seat.

They all continued eating in silence for a bit.

“Hey, Reese. Have you set the big day yet?” Trisha asked her between mouthfuls.

Reese blotted her mouth with her napkin. She nodded.

“May 21st.”

Salvatore had been quiet since the first confrontation, stabbing pieces of lobster and eating them. He stopped and smirked at Harrison again.

“Sounds so romantic.”

Ignoring the sarcasm, Reese continued to talk to Trisha about wedding dress details.

Salvatore deliberately wiped his mouth slowly with the napkin. Tossing it down, he turned to smile again at Reese and Harrison.

“How was it your first wife died, Harrison?”

Harrison and Reese both stopped chewing. They gulped the food down and looked at him.

“Salvatore, I already told you his wife died in fire.”

Meg nodded. “Yes, that was so tragic. I’m so sorry, Harrison.”

“Thank you, Meg. Your daughter has given me the strength to rebuild my life.”

Meg smiled broadly at Reese. “She would. She’s so beautiful. My darling girl…”

She reached over to brush Reese’s soft hair out of her face.

“Exactly. So, Harrison how long have you and Reese been seeing each other? I understand your wife just died a few months ago.” Salvatore continued to pick at Harrison, hoping to draw blood.

Harrison gritted his teeth together.
This idiot just won’t leave well enough alone!
He thought.

“My
wife
,” he pounded the word, “died six months ago. I met Reese through mutual friends about three months ago. Does that satisfy your curiosity, Salvatore?” His hazel eyes bored into the man.

“So you propose to Reese after only three months? Quite soon, don’t you think?”

Harrison shrugged. “Not soon enough in my opinion. She’s everything I’ve ever wanted.” He smiled at Reese as both Meg and Trisha swooned at his words.

Salvatore became furious, and his face flushed red with anger. “Bullshit, Harrison. I think you and Reesie have been doing the nasty for some time. I think you knew her long before your wife’s death. Now, since she’s gone, the two of you can bring your relationship out in the open.”

Although Salvatore had hit the nail on the head, the pair were incensed.

“How dare you! You don’t know me. I loved my wife. She died. I met Reese and fell in love. Plain and simple.” Harrison threw his napkin down and stood up.

“Why are you so mad if what I am saying is bullshit, Harrison? I think you know I speak the truth.”

Harrison quickly walked around the table and got right up in Salvatore’s face. They stood nearly nose to nose.

“What the fuck is your point, man? Seriously, give it up! Are you jealous of my money or the fact I have Reese now?”

Trisha pulled her head back and glared at Reese. Meg looked confused and upset. Salvatore cut his eyes to Reese.

“What the fuck are you talking about, man? I’m married to Trisha. Reese is nothing to me but my sister-in-law.”

Harrison snorted. “Oh, really? Then why have you been staring at her all day? I saw you.”

“No way. Reese is like a sister to me, and we were talking about you. How you buy everyone, how you bought Reese, and now you’re going to marry your former mistress.”

Reese shot up from her chair. “What the hell, Sal? I just met him.”

“Don’t talk about Reese, ever. I am warning you, man. I don’t know what the fuck your problem is, but just don’t talk to me.” Harrison gave Salvatore a tiny shove and started to walk away.

Salvatore reached out, grabbed Harrison and spun him around by the shoulder.

Caught by surprise, Harrison found himself hit with a hard left. He staggered backwards slightly. Blood began oozing from his nose.

Reese screamed, Meg ran for the first aid kit and Trisha grabbed Salvatore’s arm.

Shaking off the pain, Harrison shot his arm out, struck Salvatore squarely on the jaw and a loud cracking noise was heard.

“Son of a bitch!” Salvatore fell back clutching his jaw. “You broke my jaw!” His voice was garbled.

Holding a napkin to his nose, Harrison cursed him and spat on him.

“Don’t you talk about Reese, ever. I told you. Don’t you ever come near me again.”

Harrison took Reese’s hand and led her into the house.

“Meg, I’m so sorry that things ended up this way. Please forgive me. I’m not violent, but that man pushed me too far.” Harrison continued to hold the napkin to his face.

Meg nodded. “I know. His hot Italian temper causes him many problems. I adored meeting you, Harrison. I am happy you are taking care of my baby.” She hugged him tightly.

“Mom, I’m so sorry. Tell Trisha I am sorry, but Sal was a real jerk. I can’t believe he did this.” Reese hugged her mother.

“It will be okay. Just have to keep the two of them apart,” she said, looking out on the deck where Trisha was trying to doctor the bleeding Salvatore.

“You can visit us in Chicago, mom. Anytime.”

Meg nodded. “Oh, I will. I would love to see your new home!” With that, Reese and Harrison said goodbye to Meg.

“What a stupid asshole,” Harrison remarked as they got into the car.

“I don’t know what got into him.” Reese was bewildered.

“Jealousy.” Harrison began driving them to the airport. As they drove onto the airfield, Harrison recalled the clipping he had seen in Reese’s room. How strange she would have an old copy of that tabloid. Why would she? It looked quite old, as if she had had for years.

As they departed on a private jet, they began talking about her family’s antics.

“Your sister is quite the flirt! You were right. She kept dropping things on the floor and bending over in front of me.” Harrison chuckled.

Sipping champagne from a crystal flute, Reese laughed.

“I tried to warn you. We were always competing with each other growing up. When I became a model, she was extremely jealous. She had tried to model for the same agency, but they had told her she didn’t have the ‘right look’, meaning she was too flat chested for bikini modeling.”

“She doesn’t have your rack; that’s for sure.” He reached over to squeeze her ample breasts.

Reese giggled as he kept fondling her.

“No, she wanted implants, but never got them.”

“Why not? She seemed pretty small to me. Don’t get me wrong, Trisha is quite attractive, but nothing like you, baby.”

Reese shrugged. “She’s afraid of surgery. She’d always had plenty of boyfriends who didn’t care about her chest size, but every time we would be on the beach together and she would see me in my bikini, she would make up some excuse to go inside. When I had started modeling, she had refused to look at my pictures. The funny thing is, Salvatore had put one of my calendars up in his office. One day, she met him for lunch and saw it. She flipped! She tore it down and wouldn’t speak to him for days. She accused him of having a ‘thing’ for me. He’d said the only reason he’d done it was to make her mad. Seemed he’d thought it was funny.”

Harrison narrowed his hazel eyes. “How do you know all that?”

Reese finished her champagne and placed the crystal flute on the tray.

“He told me. It was kind of a family joke. No big deal.”

“He was an asshole. Jealous jerk.” Harrison wiped his nose with a napkin, blotting a few drops of blood.

Harrison stood up and poured himself a bit of scotch into a crystal tumbler.

“I think he DOES have a thing for you, Reese. He stared at you the whole time we were there. But then I can’t really blame him, can I? You’re beautiful.” Harrison sipped his scotch while eyeing the plunging neckline of her dress.

“Oh, shut up. He’s like a brother. You are so silly!” With that, Reese reached over to swat him on his leg.

Grabbing her wrist, he flung her down. Immediately, she reached for him as he fell upon her. His lips covered her graceful neck with kisses as his tongue lightly traced her collarbone.

“Oh, Harrison,” she moaned, gripping his hair in her hands.

“You’re too sexy, baby,” he mumbled as he pulled the straps of her dress down. Roughly, he wrenched her bra down, baring her beautiful breasts. Reese arched her back and moaned with pleasure as they writhed on the floor of the private plane. Harrison began licking and sucking her nipples until she cried out with pain.

“Is that too hard, baby?” he asked, rolling a nipple around with his teeth.

“Mmmm… no… feels perfect.” Reese purred with delight. Harrison squeezed her breasts hard as he continued to bite at her nipples. Tingly pleasure shot through her entire body, soaking her core as she felt the familiar pulsations of orgasm. She had never reached a climax with just breast play alone, but the brutal way he was handling them was unbelievably hot.

“Oh, my God.” She panted and squirmed as Harrison ruthlessly bit her nipples. Ripples of orgasm made her thighs wet with desire.

“You like that, baby? I’ve got so much more for you.” Harrison looked up at her as she was rolling her head back and forth with pleasure.

Reese groaned as he began kissing his way down her body, pulling her dress off. As he got to her lacy panties, he found them soaking wet. He moaned with desire as he kissed her through the wet fabric.

Easing the lacy panties down her long legs, Harrison then buried his face between her thighs. Reese cried out as he began slowly devouring her.

“God, you taste amazing, baby.” Harrison licked and sucked her mound until Reese felt herself shuddering again with orgasm. Her hands were buried in his hair, and he continued to lick her as she came, saturating his face with her arousal.

“I want you inside me, Harrison.” Reese leaned up to watch him pleasure her as she squeezed her own breasts, which were hugely swollen with desire.

“You do?” he asked teasingly, looking into her eyes with his tongue sliding between her folds.

“Yes… please, now.” Reese pressed her breasts together and continued to squeeze them.

“Mmmm… I do too.” Harrison brought his hand up between her legs to massage her wet sex, sliding his finger gently over her clit, flicking it occasionally.

Reese jolted up as if electrified.

“Oh, yes, Harrison! Oh, my God… do that more!” She cried out, throwing her head back. She felt as if she were melting as he played her clit like a fine instrument, strumming it back and forth. Orgasm after orgasm flooded her, and her core felt like it was dissolving under his touch.

Harrison took her hand and placed it on her wet mound.

“Rub yourself, baby, and then I will fuck you.”

With a slight hesitation, Reese began to rub her own soaking-wet lips back and forth, pulling on her clit as he watched from only inches away. Immediately, he became painfully erect.

“I love it, baby. Doesn’t it feel good to rub your little kitty?” he asked in a murmur, feeling his hardness pressing against his pants.

Reese moaned as she rubbed herself all over, feeling how wet she was. Finally, Harrison could take it no more and quickly unzipped himself. He slid his immense hardness into her.

Without fail, every time he slid inside her, Harrison was always shocked at how tight and wet she was. Like a tight glove, she enveloped his hardness, wrapping him in her tight wetness. It took all he had not to come upon entry, but he had mastered control of himself and started violently shoving his cock in and out of her. Reese cried out, feeling how huge he was and how much he filled her.
He completes me in every way
, she thought as she felt herself pulsate around him.

“Oh, God, Reese!” Harrison cried out loudly. He pulled her long legs up around his shoulders as he plunged deeply into her.

He was inside her so deeply it was painful, but Reese arched her hips up to take more and more of him inside her.

Her orgasm came thundering down upon her as she cried out loudly. Harrison cried out as well as he came deep inside her.

Harrison fell down beside her on the floor, panting heavily with perspiration dripping off his brow.
