“Yeah, I told you, you never listen to me,” Campbell scolded again.  She reached into her clutch and pulled out a small packet of almonds.  “Here, munch on these.”

Sawyer was so grateful that she nearly burst into tears, but she didn’t want to ruin all the work her makeup artist had done, all she could manage, was, “Oh, Campbell.”

“Not a problem. Eat pretty fast otherwise Marsha’s gonna get you,” she teased.

Sawyer tore open the package and gobbled down the treat, she was just finishing when her mother approached her, she had broken free from the wedding party.

Priscilla hugged her daughter.  “Congratulations!  You’re fortunate baby, you found yourself a good man.”

“I know Mom.”  Her mother never let a day go by without telling her how lucky she was to have found Walt.  She made it a point to remind her that good Black men were hard to find.

“I know you do.  Treat him right and take care of him.”

Sawyer resisted the urge to roll her eyes.  “I will Mom,” she said obediently.

Campbell squeezed her sister’s hand, she empathized with her, their mom had given her the same advice ten years ago when she and her husband, Milt had gotten married.  Sawyer gave her a grateful squeeze back.  “Let’s go,” she said softly.

Sawyer wrapped her arms around her new husband’s waist, laced her hands together, and pulled him closer.  Her wedding had exceeded her expectations.  She peeked around her husband and took in the room, three hundred of their loved ones filled the area.  The hotel’s bland ballroom had been transformed into a white and gold wonderland.  This is such a Barbie wedding, Sawyer thought giddily.  The whole room looked like a fluffy creamy confection.  She saw Marsha standing on the perimeter of the reception clutching her clipboard to her chest.  It looked like she was at the starting line and poised to sprint away at the sound of the starting gun.  Marsha stressed Sawyer out more than necessary, but Sawyer was very happy with the results Marsha had achieved.  Even though she knew that Marsha couldn’t see her, Sawyer smiled at her, a slow grateful smile.  It was already past one o’clock in the morning and the reception showed no sign of slowing down.

“So are you happy Mrs. Spector?” Walt asked.

Sawyer grinned up at him.  “Yes, I am Mr. Spector, I’m ecstatic.”  And she was.  Walt was the man of her dreams.  Walt was her Ken.  She knew he was The One the first time they’d met.  Their meeting was like a ghetto fairy tale.  Sawyer, Campbell and a bunch of their friends had gone to Happy Hour at a popular club.  The evening had started off fun.  A radio personality from the city’s number one hip hop station was in the club playing music.  After a couple of hours the club was packed.  But even with the number of people, Sawyer couldn’t miss Walt.  He was in a group of giants, they were all easily over six feet and they all looked like they had healthy appetites.  She later learned that they were his brothers and his cousins; they were getting an early start on his brother’s bachelor party.

She had walked by him at least ten times before he stopped her and asked her for her name.  He later admitted to her that he had seen her the first time she had strolled by, but he had been too intimidated to talk to her.

They were squeezed into a corner talking, when someone fired a gun and that created pandemonium.  Without any hesitation, he had picked her up and she had pressed her face to his chest as he barreled his way through the chaos and out to safety.  He never made it to his brother’s bachelor party, he drove her to a coffee shop where they talked until it closed, then he followed her to her house, where they sat outside in his car until dawn.  She knew by then that she wanted to marry him.  He had asked her out for breakfast and they’d been together since.

At three o’clock in the morning Sawyer and Walt stumbled to their honeymoon suite.  After much fumbling around in his tuxedo pocket for the key card and several attempts at opening the door, because everything was shifting and looked as though it was smeared with cooking oil, he finally opened it then scooped up his new wife and carried her across the threshold.  They fell onto the bed, a big heap of alcohol, giggles, and love.

Walt cupped Sawyer’s face and drunkenly kissed her, he drew away and gazed into her eyes.  “I love you Mrs. Spector.”

Sawyer grinned tiredly at her husband.  “I love you too,” she said, then glanced shyly at him.  “I guess I’d better go change out of this dress.”  She nervously ran her hand over the slick surface of her dress, smoothing it down.

Walt stroked his wife’s cheek.  “You look so beautiful just like this, don’t change,” he gently pleaded.

Sawyer smiled.  “I gotta babe…otherwise we can’t…”

“What?”

“You know,” she said, her voice coy.

“What?”

“Make love,” she said softly.  “We won’t be able to make love.”

“Oh yeah,” he said stupidly.

“Yeah, oh yeah,” she teased.  Sawyer kissed her husband then stood up.  “I’ll be right back,” she promised, then took measured steps towards the bathroom, careful not to break out in a run.  She let out a sigh of relief when she saw her overnight bag on the vanity.  In it was lingerie, perfume, and a few other goodies to make her honeymoon night memorable.  “Good job Campbell.”

Sawyer was glad that she had changed out of her wedding dress after the ceremony and slipped into a sexy knee length cocktail dress for the reception.  Campbell had bagged up her wedding dress and had it under lock and key until she and Walt returned from their honeymoon.

Sawyer slipped out of her dress and hung it up on the bathroom door.  The rest of her clothing was next, she neatly put everything in a mesh pouch and secured it in her overnight bag.  She placed a shower cap over her hair then winked at her reflection.  “No need to mess up my hair, I’m sure my baby will do it.”

She turned on the water and adjusted it to the desired temperature, when it was the way she wanted, she stepped into the shower and scrubbed her face free of makeup.  Walt always liked her face natural.  We’re finally going to do it, she thought happily. Twenty months was a long time to wait, she decided.
But at least tonight will be special for both of us.
She squirted some body wash on her loofah and closed her eyes while she slowly washed herself.  Bits and pieces of her and Walt’s relationship flashed in her mind.  She peeked at a truth about her relationship and a frown skidded over her face so quickly that she didn’t realize she had done it.  Like most people who don’t want to see the truth she pushed it away without dissecting it.

Sawyer stepped out of the shower and grabbed a towel.  She dabbed at her skin soaking up the excess liquid, and just as her mother had taught her to, she immediately rubbed lotion into her skin.  Sawyer went over to her overnight bag and pulled out a piece of lingerie.  “I hope this isn’t too much,” she murmured.  She had bought two pieces, she ignored the red one and instead focused on the one made of an off-white frothy material.  Sawyer scrunched her nose.  “This is the better one, it’s hot…a lot hotter.”  While it was demure in color, the piece was sexy and she loved the way it looked against her chocolate hued skin.

She slipped it over her head and it floated down her body, she shivered lightly at the way the airy material felt against her skin.  Months of working out had made her almost Barbie shaped body even hotter.  Her breasts seemed to grow a cup, her waist had whittled down to twenty one inches and her hips had swelled out to an appealing width.  And the teeny baby doll showed it all off to perfection.  She nervously scrutinized her reflection.  “I hope he thinks I’m beautiful.”  She quickly brushed her teeth and swiped on some lip gloss.

Excitement bubbled in Sawyer’s stomach, she anxiously touched her hair, took a deep breath and opened the bathroom door.  Walt had turned down the lights, she noticed that he had taken off his tuxedo and had flung it over a chair.

“Hey baby,” she called softly.  She didn’t get a response, she whispered again, still nothing, she continued to the bed.  She froze when she saw her husband, sprawled across the bed, snoring lightly.

Sawyer settled down next to him and pecked him on the lips.  Her husband snorted and turned on his side.  “Really Walt?” She angrily nudged him in his back, it was like hitting a wall, she winced.  “Get up!” she hissed.  Walt didn’t move.  “Oh crap!” she angrily dropped onto the bed and turned onto her side, her back to her new husband.  “If I had known my wedding night was going to be like this, I would’ve brought Steele.”

Sawyer buckled herself into the airplane seat and squeezed Walt’s hand.  “Hi hubby,” she said then giggled.

Walt grinned then kissed her on the lips.  “Hi wifey.”

The flight attendant strolled by and offered them champagne.  Walt begged off, but Sawyer accepted, they were, after all, in first class and it was their honeymoon.

“I can’t wait to see our hotel room,” Sawyer gushed.  She took a sip of champagne.  “Mmm, this is delicious, you should have some.”

“Naw, I had enough alcohol last night.  Have another glass on me.”  He grinned when his wife saluted him with her glass.  “Hey, I’m sorry about last night,” Walt whispered.

Sawyer leaned over and kissed her husband.  “It’s okay, just don’t let it happen again,” she said playfully.  They had gotten up so late that they barely made it out of the hotel before noon.  And lovemaking was the last thing on either of their minds.  “Besides, we have the rest of our lives to make love.  I can’t wait until we get to Mexico.  You can make everything up to me then.”

“I will baby,” Walt promised then promptly fell asleep.  Sawyer pulled out her E-reader and scrolled through hundreds of books before deciding on one.  She settled into the seat and began reading. A few minutes later, she looked out the window and into a canvas of blue.  A full week of fun in the sun and sex under the covers, Sawyer thought happily to herself.

“The hotel room is gorgeous!” Sawyer screamed.  “Thank you.”  She jumped into her husband’s arms and passionately kissed him.  “Come on, let’s go to bed,” she whispered in his ear.

“We can do that later, let’s go sightseeing.”

Sawyer pursed her lips with disappointment and slid out of Walt’s arms.  “I thought we were going to make love.”  She grabbed his hand and tugged him towards the bed.  “Come on baby, we’re on our honeymoon, I’ve been waiting a long time for this.”

Walt dug his heels in the carpet and snatched his hand away.  “Me too.  But it’s a beautiful day, let’s go out and enjoy it.  And I want to try some authentic Mexican food.  And when we get back, we’ll make love…I promise.”

I'm Bi-Curious...This Weekend Only - $.99

Bianca Tisdale re-read the ad that she wanted to place on brandislist.com.

My husband will be out of town for the Fourth of July weekend – I’m looking for a beautiful lady to make me see fireworks

Thirty-year-old bi-curious female is looking for a playmate for the weekend of July 3 – July 6.  Must be a girly girl and beautiful.  No specific race; however, I am African American and I am attracted to African American women, but am open to all races.  I will provide the food and all entertainment, but must be willing to spend the entire weekend with me in a hotel room.  As you can see from the body shot, I am in shape, I work out a lot, and I would like the same from you but a few extra pounds would be fine.  Please respond, no picture no reply.  No couples and no men need apply.  ABSOLUTELY no drugs or smokers.  DISCRETION IS A MUST.

She crossed her fingers then clicked on the submit button.  “Hopefully, I’ll get some responses.”

Over the course of the week, she sifted through hundreds of responses.  Some hateful, telling her that there isn’t a switch on sexuality and she needed to fucking choose what she wanted, men or women, those were immediately deleted.  Then there were the pictures of men’s dicks whose owners stated that they would love to play with her while her husband was out of town, or better yet have him join the activities.  Those were deleted as well.  Bianca reviewed the responses that she deemed as possibilities.

She had gotten one picture that made her heart almost stop, the lady coincidently looked a lot like her first same-sex partner.  “Wow!” Bianca immediately sent her an e-mail.

Bianca sat back in her chair and reminisced about her short-term college fling.  It was with her roommate Lizzie.  One night after a long night of partying, she and Lizzie had gotten wasted and ended up kissing passionately and waking up in each other’s arms.  The second time, after another night of crazy partying, she and Lizzie started off kissing, just like before, but that had quickly escalated to touching each other’s breasts and stroking each other’s pussies.  Lizzie had left college after that semester and Bianca often wondered what would have happened if she had stayed.  The image of Lizzie’s breasts and the way her body felt stayed with her, years later, and she wanted to experience that again.  The Fourth of July weekend was the perfect time.  Her husband, Howard, had plans to travel to L.A. for that weekend.
