A few useless things you don’t need to know about Tara West

1. Like Ash, if I eat gluten, I get very sick. To put it plainly, my anus turns into the flaming tunnel of terror.

2. I am married to the world’s most awesome, supportive man and we have a sweet little girl. They are my everything.

3. I love my fans and writer friends. They give me purpose and keep me grounded.

4. I taught high school English, journalism, and photography for eight years.

5. I have written trashy parodies under the name PJ Jones. If you’d like to give PJ’s books a try, just be warned; if your laugh-o-meter is set to prude, not crude, and you have high literary standards, or ANY standards at all, you will be sadly disappointed. My favorite PJ books are Driving Me Nuts!, Romance Novel, Attack of the Fairytale Zombies! and Melvin the Dry Cleaning Zombie. Now that you know I’m PJ, please don’t throw rotten tomatoes at me. Thanks.

6. My cousin Mikey died of AIDS related complications over ten years ago. He was very loving and sweet, and I know he’s living it up in the Penthouse.

7. Our black Lab Jack was my family’s best friend. We miss you buddy.

8. I wrote and published five books in 2013, and so far two novellas plus this novel in 2014. I have many, many more book ideas in my head. I am currently working on Damned and Desirable and am planning a third book in the series.

9. I freelance as a book cover artist. I designed all of the covers for my Eternally Yours, Whispers, and Something More series. I have designed close to a thousand book covers since 2005.

10. My editor cut over a thousand useless words from this book. I have no idea why, but I guess I really, really, like useless words.

Hey, reader friends. If you’re looking for a darker fantasy, don’t miss
Cruxim
by my good friend Karin Cox.

An Amazon #1 Bestseller in Dark Fantasy and Gothic Romance

A rare and mysterious supernatural creature known as a Cruxim, Amedeo has but one mission—to rid the world of vampires. But when one of the two women he loves becomes one, and the other, a female Sphinx who has joined him on his crusade, is abducted and tortured by them, what will he sacrifice to save one or both of them?

One more recommendation, my lovely readers. While you’re waiting for Damned and Desirable, check out my buddy, Shea MacLeod’s sexy and fun Sunwalker series. Book five is due out in July, 2014.

“Hurry, Morgan. If you don’t, we’re all dead.” With her friend in mortal danger and the Dragon King demanding her presence, vampire hunter Morgan Bailey is between a rock and a volcano. And if that isn’t bad enough, someone is still out to kill her.
