He enjoyed dominating and being in control just like Matt. He had a feeling that Paula had something scary happen in the past, and if his gut was correct, it involved a man and his treatment of her. The thought that someone hurt her so badly that she couldn’t talk about it enraged him. He and Matt had decided that they wanted her and that she was special. Just how special she really was hadn’t hit him until this kiss.

“I’ve been wanting to do that for months,” he admitted to her, and she placed her hands against his cheeks and stared into his eyes.

“What did you say?”

He chuckled and squeezed her a little tighter. “Baby, I wasn’t ignoring you. I thought that you were too young and innocent for me. I still think you’re young and innocent, but damn it if I’m going to stand by and let another guy have a chance with you when you’re on my mind twenty-four-seven.”

She appeared stunned, and then Matt spoke as he gently slid her hair away from her face and neck. He leaned in and kissed her cheek.

“That goes for me, too, Paula. When we heard about the possible break-in here at your home, we rushed over here immediately. We wouldn’t have rested otherwise. We’ve got a lot of things to discuss,” Matt added.

“But first, you should know that we’ve been attracted to you for a while, but there’s certain things we expect and need, especially in the bedroom.”

He watched as her cheeks got all rosy before she lowered her eyes, and he couldn’t help but smile. She was sweet and lovely, her skin soft and smooth and he wanted to taste every inch of her and make her belong to them and only them. Her breasts were full and way more than a handful. She wasn’t too thin, and she always dressed so classy.

“You mean the whole Dom thing?” she whispered, and he smirked.

“So you heard the rumors?” Matt asked as she tilted her head toward him and nodded.

Matt caressed her cheek with the back of his knuckles. She closed her eyes.

“Well, we’ll discuss it when we’re alone and have more time. If you’re willing to and interested in getting to know us, then we’ll explain and you’ll have to abide by our rules and demands,” Tyler told her.

She swallowed hard. “I’m not sure what to think about all this. My head is spinning, and I’m worried about my friends and this guy who left the stuff in my room.” She shivered as she hugged herself.

Tyler released her to Matt, who placed his hand under her hair against her neck and drew her in for a kiss. “I know that you’re scared Paula, but the sheriff and the detective will figure this out. In the meantime, I’d say spending some time getting to know you better might be just what you need,” Matt teased.

“How so?” she asked.

He kept his hand on her waist and winked at her as he looked her body over. “Looks like this body of yours needs some watching over, and my brother and I are making it our business to be the only men applying for the job.”

Tyler watched as Matt covered Paula’s mouth in a heated kiss before she could respond. Paula clung to Matt just as she did with him, and Tyler felt relieved.

Matt released her lips and smiled at her. “Better than I ever dreamed it would be.”

She smiled, obviously thrilled with his comment, and then he hugged her.

Tyler knew that this was just the beginning. Maybe if they’d acted sooner, some psycho wouldn’t be stalking her. He and Matt would be sure to keep her safe and do what they could to catch this asshole. He felt uneasy about leaving her here tonight, but he had no choice. She didn’t belong to them yet. She hadn’t heard the rules or learned their expectations, but she would tomorrow, and he hoped that she said yes and could accept them. If she didn’t, then he was ready to seduce her until she accepted and recognized the mutual attraction between the three of them. He wanted her and he always fought hard for what he wanted.

Chapter 8

He wondered where she was. Her car was always parked in the same spot every day by four in the afternoon. Something was wrong. He placed his truck in reverse and headed toward her house. Maybe she was there still. Maybe she was sick or something. He drove to her house, thinking about her reaction to his letter and to the flowers he’d sent. He’d dreamed of her last night. Her brown hair and light green eyes had shined as he made love to her. She had stared down at him, her breasts plump and her nipples hard. He had never come so hard before. She did that to him. Paula was the only one who could. He thought about the other women. They teased him and told him he was lame. They called him “limp dick” and emasculated him. That was why he killed them. That was why he burned them, too, and he would do it again.

Paula was different. She was sweet, and when he entered her bedroom, smelled her feminine scent, and saw that she kept every single one of his notes, he knew that she would be his. She enjoyed the attention and the compliments. Her feelings for him were just as strong, and someday soon they would be together.

He drove by her house and saw that she wasn’t there either. Where could she be? Who was she with?

He felt that tight, nagging sensation in his gut. She couldn’t be. She wouldn’t be with them. Did those two fucking assholes trick her? She was so naïve. God, she needed to be taught a lesson. She needed someone who could take care of her and protect her from men like that. He slammed his fist down on the steering wheel then gripped it tight. He felt his jaw ache from clenching his teeth. He felt so fucking angry he could kill them with his bare hands.

He drove toward their estate. That was what it was like, a fucking estate. They had so much money between the two of them from their families that they didn’t even need to work. Fucking sick fucks they were. They bedded the best-looking women in town. They were with Marla last. That was what he heard around town. They played their games with her and used her just like the others. Well, they weren’t going to get Paula.

As he approached, he nearly flew off the edge, his anger getting the better of him. Her car was parked in their long driveway. He could see the black color and knew it was hers.

Something had to be done and quickly. He sped off down the road. He needed to remain calm. He had to be smart about this. If he acted without thinking, then he would get caught. No, he needed a big distraction, something that would get them to stay away from Paula. That would take some time to plan. He was ready to start that plan today. He knew that Paula wanted him. She kept his letters in her bedside drawer.
She wants me.

Carefully and quietly, he hid his truck and entered the grounds of the estate. Just a little message, a hint as to what would come if they pursued his woman. He walked toward the shed, located near the detached garage. If he set this on fire, then it would spread to the garage, destroying all the things inside of it. He went to work then quickly escaped through the trees and back to his truck. He smiled.

Now they will know who’s boss. Now they will realize that Paula belongs to me.

* * * *

“I don’t understand why you wanted me to come here. I have to be at work soon,” Paula stated as she held her keys in her hand and stood in their front entranceway. Matt and Tyler’s home was stunning.

“We need to talk, and being at your place won’t work. Come sit down,” Matt told her, and she slowly walked into the living room. Matt could tell that she was nervous. She gripped her key chain with the little pink pig on it. Her nails were colored pink, and her short floral skirt had bits of pink in it, too. It matched her lacy black camisole. She looked beautiful, especially with her cowgirl boots on.

She took a seat, and Matt sat down next to her.

“Tyler will be in shortly. He got a call from work that he had to take.”

She looked around the room. He knew it was very masculine with bold, deep earth tones and some color of sage green and burgundy. The woodwork was intricate and made by his hands in his free time. Owning the small construction business was just a side job to stay busy.

She stirred a bit at the mention of Tyler joining them. He reached over and touched her bare knee. Her legs were crossed, and she still held her keychain in her hands.

He placed his other arm over the backside of the couch behind her shoulders. She stared at him like a doe caught in headlights.

“What is it?” she asked.

He moved his hand over her skirt to her fingers and turned her hand over to reveal the little pink pig and her keys.

“Got a thing for little pink pigs or just pink in general?” he asked as he touched the pink pig then her fingers.

He moved a little closer to her. “I want to kiss you.” Her lips parted as he moved closer to her. She didn’t pull away. When their lips touched, he was thrilled. He had thought about her and couldn’t get out of his mind what happened last night. He used the arm he had behind her shoulders to draw her in closer. She reached up with one hand and touched his cheek as they continued to kiss.

Matt could kiss her for hours. She tasted so good and smelled incredible. He eased the keys out of her hand then pushed them under the pillow before placing his hand on her thigh again. The moment he eased his fingers higher, she stopped him and pulled from the kiss.

Her lips looked swollen and plump. He licked his own lips and smiled at her.

“Very nice, Paula. I enjoyed that,” he whispered.

“Enjoyed what?” Tyler asked as he entered the room. He heard Paula’s intake of breath.

Matt held her to him and kept his hand on her thigh a bit under her skirt.

“Kissing these beautiful, ripe lips of hers. She’s quite irresistible.” Matt nuzzled closer to her neck and kissed her skin.

“We have things to explain,” Tyler stated firmly as Matt touched his lips to Paula’s one more time.

“More of that later, baby,” Matt teased then pulled away. He kept his hand on her thigh in a possessive manner, and he hoped she liked it. He would always want to touch her and show possession of her. The thought of another man aside from Tyler touching her made him feel jealous and on edge.

She covered his hand with her own and tried to push it down.

“You’ll have to learn to resist the urge to push us away, Paula. Trust is key in our relationship.” Tyler moved closer.

“What relationship?” she asked with a bit of a shaky voice.

“That is why you’re here. I have a few questions for you,” he said, and immediately Matt sensed her uneasiness. She clasped her hands again and shifted on the couch. He kept his hand on her thigh, the one on top, as she recrossed her legs.

“First, we need to know that you feel what we feel. We’re both attracted to you, Paula, and have been for quite some time. But we have needs. Those needs may seem hard and perhaps even extreme sometimes, but we understand you’re much younger than us and Matt has a lot of patience.”

“What about you?” she asked.

He looked at her body and Matt took the opportunity to caress her thigh.

“I am not a patient man. When I want something, I take it. I tend to be serious and demanding. You need to know that and understand that when I tell you to do something it’s not a request. In fact, it is a demand.”

“So you expect me to jump when you say ‘jump’ or do something uncomfortable in public if you tell me to?” she asked, and he shook his head.

“No. Matt and I are asking for you to give us all of you. We want you to trust in us to the point that when we ask you to do something you do it without question and without hesitation, but keep in mind we will not ask you to do anything degrading. This is not a game.”

“Like what?”

“She needs an example, Tyler.” Matt never let his eyes leave Paula’s.

“Your behavior at Dixie Chix was unacceptable the other night. You should have never gone by those men. It is not your job to socialize with the patrons. We checked,” Tyler stated firmly, and Paula’s eyes widened then she swallowed.

“If you belonged to us, then I would have taken you somewhere immediately and punished you for your lack of thinking. Your job is to protect what is ours and that includes your body.”

She shook her head and stood up.

“No, no I can’t do that,” she stated with her head down and began to walk away. Matt stopped her by touching her waist. He reached under her chin and tilted her face toward him so he could see into her light-green eyes.

“You can’t trust us?” he asked her.

“I don’t know either of you. This is a mistake. I thought I knew what I wanted, what I need, but I don’t. I can’t just trust you both. I can’t give up control of me like that.”

“Why not?” Tyler asked before Matt had a chance to.

“Why not?” Matt demanded to know when she didn’t answer his brother.

“You’ll hurt me,” she whispered with her eyes closed.

Matt looked at Tyler, and he hoped his brother understood what to do.

There was silence and then Tyler’s strong, deep voice laced with Texan accent sounded. “Paula, come to me now.” He released her, and she turned toward Tyler. Tyler held her eyes and kept a serious facial expression.

“Now. Do not make me ask again.”

She walked toward him with her head down. When she was standing in front of him, he uncrossed his arms.

“Look at me.”
