"I have something for you," he whispered. "Close your eyes."

She obeyed his command and he kissed her. She couldn't help smiling. He put his arm around her waist. "Open."

She looked down, and there was a book in her hand with the title “Reasons Why.” She opened it and there was Bryan's handwriting.

1.) Your beautiful smile.

There was a whole page and a half about her smile and the way it shined and made her radiate. She got up to ten before he set it aside. "Read it later."

"Okay."

Bryan kissed her. Then his eyes landed on the ceiling. Pamela managed to come up with a fantasy even he hadn't tried: a sex swing; and he wasn't ready to try that tonight. That would require some serious stretching. He promised that they could soon. Just on another night.

For now, he reintroduced her to body paint. Her eyes lit up like a kid on Christmas. He knew this girl liked to suck dick. She got excited about it. She got excited during it.

Pamela took the paint with ease and a smile. "Wait," she decided, pressing a gentle hand against his chest.

"What?"

"Shower first. You been all sweating and shit."

"You have a point, querida."

Bryan took off the last of his clothes and went to have a shower. When he came back, Pamela smiled, motioning to him. He went willingly and with a stiff dick.

Pamela teased him while she painted, blowing on it and looking up at him with mischief in her eyes. A smile spread on her lips as she dipped the paint in color after color, stroking slowly, watching Bryan watch her each time her lips came close to his flesh not to end in contact, but more cool air.

Finally, she licked around the head, moaning. He couldn't help it as he groaned.

"Come, Papi. Lie down. Let me work," she said softly, her voice dripping as sweet as honey.

She worked on his dick, moaning as she took him in and out, bobbing up and down as if she wanted to find the best apple in the tub.

When it was her turn. He painted her from her mouth down. He took his time kissing her. She was growing wetter and wetter just anticipating him eating her like Thanksgiving dinner.

His tongue tickled the sensitive flesh on her neck as he took his time kissing it, gently sucking the flesh between his full lips.

He took her plump breasts in his mouth, paying them equal amounts of glorious attention. The sensation put a slight arch in Pamela’s back, her breathing getting rougher.

Bryan licked around Pamela’s delicate belly button, and her breathing became shallow. She was anxious, anticipation bubbling inside her. He looked up at her, that teasing smile on his face. He did what she had and simply blew on her wetness. She closed her eyes. He saw her legs trying to meet and held them open. "What do you think you're doing, Mela?"

"Please stop teasing and eat me," she whined.

 "Maybe."

She pouted and he chuckled, licking the outer lips and then moving them to get to the juice inside of her, raining out. She moaned. "Mmm."

Her fingers ran over his waves. His brown skin was looking so smooth. So good. He was a sexy ass middle aged man. All of her and Jada's friends had a crush. They'd die if they knew Pamela was fucking him. No doubt, trade places in an instant, but she wasn't sharing him.

Bryan licked a trail up from her warm lower lips back up to her red lips. He looked in Pamela's eyes, and she didn't break that contact. He took his dick and put it inside her warm tunnel.

Immediately, he felt her squeezing him. She moaned, her eyes closing. "Look at me, Pamela," he whispered. She opened her eyes back, and he kissed her, their eyes opened. He never told his wife to open her eyes, but he really wanted to see Pamela's.

She arched her back, meeting him thrust for thrust. She was going crazy with desire, her breathing quickly becoming ragged. He kissed her neck, gently nibbling. Her eyes closed in delight. "Mmm."

This was their calmest session by far. Was this what
making love
felt like? Not being fucked? She couldn't deny, she liked it. Bryan's smooth, slow, powerful, deep strokes inside of her... She felt on edge already.

Her orgasm wrecked her body, causing her to black out, her body trembling under Bryan’s powerful build. The breath was caught in her throat, her lips parted to try to allow air in and out of her lungs. It seemed as if her whole body had given up every function to donate all sense of being, all sense of purpose, and any blood flow to her most carnal organ.

The calmest sex she'd had led her to the wildest release in the world. She finally understood why died had been a euphemism for orgasm. She swore she saw heaven. Her body was humming, she was blissed out. Nothing could break this.

Bryan lied beside her as her iPod switched to Wet the Bed by Chris Brown. She was surprised to hear Bryan sing along.

"You know this song?"

"I have an eighteen year old daughter," he reminded her, kissing her neck.

As she held on to him and enjoyed the feeling, her mind wandered to her best friend. She was fucking the hell out her father.

Bryan went back to his singing.

Yeah girl you heard what I said, I'm gonna make you wet the bed

Bryan gently probed her still hot, still wet pussy, and he kissed her lips. "Stay the night. Please."

"Okay."

She lay her head on his chest. She didn't want to move a single inch from the spot she was in now. But sooner or later, and chances were it was sooner, he was going to be leaving her. Still, she fell asleep with the thought that he was hers in the moments they lived it.

                                            *** ***

Pamela woke up feeling higher than she did low, and she went to wash the previous night off her. She stood in her robe in the doorway for a few seconds watching Bryan sleep so peacefully in her bed. He looked so at ease.

As any good woman would do for her man, she went into her kitchen and started on breakfast, playing Lazy Love on her iPod. She couldn't help dancing to it in the kitchen as she made bacon, cheese, and green onion omelets.

Bryan came up behind her and hugged her. She smiled and turned around, leaning up for a kiss. "Good morning, querida," he said softly.

"Good morning."

She stroked his hair softly and turned back to their breakfast. "I cooked for you."

"It smells good," he told her, kissing her neck. She turned the stove off just in time. She was becoming distracted.

His cell rang though, and she knew it was his wife because he left the room to take it.

Disappointed, she sat at the table, waiting for him to come back. When he did, he picked up his fork and got to eating, complimenting her cooking. She smiled weakly. She was always going to just be the other woman. There was nothing she could do about it. When Bryan was done with her, he was going to go home and lie beside his wife. Hold her. Eat her breakfast.

Bryan rubbed her leg under the table, kissing her. His hand made its way to her already slippery entrance. Damn she heated up so fast.

His finger found its way into her, and she closed her eyes, biting her lip. Moaning. "Mm, Papi. Come on, let's make love," she suggested.

"I can't stay, love," he whispered.

She frowned, but nodded. He kissed her. "I'll see you at work later. Okay?"

"Okay."

"I love you."

"I love you too." She watched him get his things and walk out of her door. Her heart dropped and she laid her head on the table, tears pooling down her face. She was nothing but the  mistress. He was never hers to begin and wouldn't be to end. Lazy Love taunted her from the kitchen.

Tears Dry On Their Own

Pamela got ready for work, hoping to look her very best. She looked at her face and saw her eyes were puffy and red rimmed. She had spent her morning crying. She had some eye drops, but she wasn't a makeup wearer. She just hoped her eyes weren't puffy when she walked into Bryan's office.

Pulling on a pencil skirt with a fitting pink blouse and a pair of black flats, Pamela braced herself for the day ahead of her. She curled her hair, giving herself a pep talk. She could do this. She could handle what she’d gotten herself into.

Pamela took a last look at herself and went to work.

As she was getting out of her car, Bryan pulled in beside her. She hurried into the building before he could say a word. She waited for him at the office, taking her seat. Bryan came in and kissed her. "Why the rush?"

She looked up at him, willing the tears behind her eyes not to fall. "We have a lot to do today," she said briskly.

"Is something the matter?"

She shook her head, opening her planner, listing off the day's tasks; but he couldn't help noticing how upset she was looking. He took the planner from her and held her hands, his forehead pressed against hers. "Pamela, tell me what's the matter," he said gently, looking in her gray eyes.

"I'm fine. Come on, Bryan. We have a lot to do, today."

"Pamela—"

The office phone rang, and Pamela cleared her throat, answering it in her professional way, taking notes from the caller. She wrote down the name of the business and the price they were willing to pay. She hung up with a sweet, "Hope to work with you, have a great day,” and she didn't look back at her lover as she filled the role of employee. She was determined to keep work and romance separated.

She wrote in the planner, telling Bryan about the meeting she had just scheduled. "Where is it?" he asked.

"It's here," she said plainly. "Lazlo’s Bake and Pastry shop," she informed him. "It's on Dexter."

"Alright. Where's the meeting?"

"Their headquarters are down the street. It's scheduled for Monday. I have to go and get ready for you to meet a client—"

"Pamela—"

"I have a job to do, Papi. You don't pay people to fuck up."

With that, she immediately left the office. She couldn't afford to wear her emotions on her sleeves of all places. That wasn't wise in the least.

She made her way to the bakery down the block and bought breakfast pastries before returning and heading to the boardroom to begin setting up for their meeting. She started on a pot of coffee and set out juice, bagels, and donuts.

Bryan showed up ten minutes later with a Manila folder and kissed Pamela softly. She pulled away. He had never told her their love and professional lives were separate. However, she put it in her own mind they were, so she backed away.

"What's wrong, Mela?" he asked again.

"Work and relationship are separate," she said simply just as his clients came in.

Bryan put on his business smile, shaking hands, introducing Pamela. He was really becoming annoyed with the men he worked with always having eyes for Pamela. Even if she didn’t seem to notice. She was his, and that was the end of it.

During the meeting, Bryan stole a few glances over Pamela’s way, but she didn’t seem to be paying him any personal attention. She took down the notes he told her to, recorded addresses, and sent out emails, files, and memos.

After the meeting, he wanted to have lunch together. “I have a boyfriend,” she reminded him. “And I haven’t seen him in two weeks. I want to go and eat with him today.”

Bryan’s eyes darkened in envy, and the expression on his face was one Pamela would never forget. “You have a what?” he growled.

“Don’t act brand new, Bryan. Everyone knows Elijah. We’ve been together for four years.”

“So break up with him, Pamela. It’s not like you love him.”

“You don’t know that.”

“If you loved him, you wouldn’t be with me,” he said, his face deadly close, anger coating his words.

“Then when you see your wife next week, let her know you’re leaving. Because you don’t love her.”

“I love my wife.” This fact he tried to convince himself of.  He still loved her. “You’re eighteen. You don’t even know what love is.”

“You’re such a hypocrite, Bryan. You know that?”

She gathered her things and made her way out of the boardroom. “I’m having lunch with Elijah.”

Bryan watched her leave in discontent, but Pamela didn’t care. She was sharing him, so he had to share her.

She got outside, and there was Elijah’s car. She slid in and kissed him. “Hey,” she greeted with a smile. He stroked her hair back.

“Are you okay?” he asked.

“Yeah. Why are you asking?”

“You look a little upset, baby.”

“I’m fine,” she promised and kissed him again. “Thank you.”

He pulled off and took her to a coffee shop. She only had thirty minutes before she needed to get back, so she needed a quick bite. She got a turkey pita with milk.

“You look nice today,” Elijah told her, holding her hand across the table. “When do you have a free night?” he asked.

“I don’t know.”

She took out her own personal phone and flipped through her calendar and flipped through days. “I’m not doing anything Friday night, baby. Let’s see a movie.”

“Okay.”

She hadn’t told Elijah about her new place. She didn’t want to chance him showing up while Bryan was there. She didn’t want to risk Bryan coming in while she was lying with Elijah especially. The scene wouldn’t end well.

Elijah took her back to the office, and he gave her a long, deep goodbye kiss. “I’ll call,” he promised and slapped her ass as she left. She waved over her shoulder.

When she got into the door, she nearly bumped into a colleague of Bryan’s. “I’m so sorry,” she said immediately.

“It’s okay. I enjoy beautiful women bumping into me,” he told her, smiling. She blushed. “How old are you again?”

“She’s young enough to be your daughter,” Bryan told him, coming and pulling Pamela away.

“Papi,” she snapped, whining like when she had been a child. “I am an adult,” she reminded him.

“Not in this season,” he informed her.

“Whoa, Mr. Valdez, I meant disrespect to your daughter.”

“Goddaughter.”

Pamela rolled her eyes and made her way to Bryan’s personal office and walked in coolly. He looked up at her, and she was smiling. “What you so happy for?” he asked.

“Chill,” she told him, taking her seat.

“That little boy taking you out?” he checked. She chuckled.

“Wouldn’t you like to know, Papi. Wouldn’t you like to know.”

He shook his head in frustration and got right to work. Pamela organized files, keeping track of receipts, and making appointments. Bryan did his necessary work. Heather called him around five, and Pamela decided to take her break. “Wait, Mela,” he called as she reached the handle.

“Yes, Papi?”

“Can you go to the coffee shop for me please?”

“Oh sure. Because I’m not on break,” she said sarcastically and left the office.

She headed to get into her car and turned on her radio. Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black album was in, and Love is a Losing Game was just beginning. She sang along as she pulled out of the parking lot.

For you, I was a flame. Love is a losing game

Before she could feel sorry for herself, her phone rang. She answered for Carmella. “Allo,” she said, turning her Bluetooth on.

“Mela, are you still at work?”

“I’m having my break now, but am going back to the office. Yeah.”

“Great. Tell Bryan to come dinner with us. Carpool.”

“I drove to work this morning, Ma.”

“You are so wasteful. Your carbon footprint—”

Pamela tuned her mother out as she merged into traffic. “Pamela, did you hear me?”

“Yes, Ma. I’ll be there. I’ll tell Papi. Kay?”

“Okay,” her mother corrected. She rolled her eyes. “I love you, mija. See you tonight.”

“I love you too. Bye.”

Pamela turned off her Bluetooth and stopped at the coffee shop. She got Bryan a black coffee. It was how he liked it. Strong and hot. He couldn’t understand all the flavored coffees and iced coffees and whipped cream and the extra things that had become popular. Coffee wasn’t for kids. So if they didn’t drink it, there would have been no need for all of the prettying up.

She got herself a latté and sat in her car for a few minutes before making her way back. Bryan was still on the phone with Heather. So she just set the coffee on his desk, and he mouthed his thank you. She just nodded and stuck her headphones in, turning them up higher than necessary. She turned on some Kat de Luna. Drop It Low played, and she forgot for a second that she was at work while she began to dance to her music.

Her eyes were closed as she danced in her own world, imagining that she was indeed the gorgeous Kat de Luna as she popped and pivoted her body, whining.

Bryan, still speaking with Heather, watched his young lover move her body so erotically and seductively without even trying.

Finally, Heather had to go. “Pamela,” he called. She couldn’t hear him, so he got up and took her ear bud out. She jumped ten feet in the air.

“¡Ay bendito!” she shrieked, clutching her chest, trying to keep her heart behind her ribs. “Don’t do that, man.”

“How about you keep the music low enough to hear me call you.”

“Stop being an old man,” she teased and went back to her station. “Wait, I’m still on break,” she said.

“I know.”

“Then what did you want?” she wondered, picking up her latté. He shook his head at her pretty coffee.

“You’re too young to need that caffeine,” he informed her.

“Okay. What?”

He just shook his head at her sipping the latté. “Do you want to have lunch tomorrow?” he asked.

“Hmm. I’ll think about it,” she told him teasingly, sipping her drink through its straw.

He couldn’t stand watching her drink that wannabe coffee, and he took his mug, leaving the office. She shrugged in his absence and opened a magazine, and flipped through the fashion pages, circling looks she might try to recreate, in her own image, of course.

The office phone rang, and Pamela answered in her professional way. “Mela, honey, is Bryan there?” Heather asked.

“Oh,  he just left, Madrina. You want me to take a message?”

“Oh, that’s okay, love. How’s work going for you?”

“Papi is strict. I was like a minute late from lunch the other day, and I didn’t hear the end of it, and then this guy was flirting with me, and he like… Yanked me away. He was cute too, Madrina.”

Heather chuckled. “That’s his job, cariña. When your father is not around, he has to keep all of the horny boys and men off you. You are… Is it a brick house?”

Pamela laughed. “That’s exactly what you mean. But I am not a brick house. I’m just a bit stacked.”

“Well, I tell you what. I’m glad you needed a job. I told your papi he needed a male personal assistant, but it’s just you, so I don’t mind at all.”

Pamela felt a little pang of guilt, but she let it go. If Heather was on her job, Bryan’s eyes never would have looked her way in the first place. She was falling in love with him. They had to share.

She and Heather talked for a few minutes, and just as they hung up, Bryan came back in. She didn’t tell him about Heather’s call at all as they got back to work. She did tell him about dinner with her parents. He just nodded. “You’ll take your car home, and I’ll drive you.”

“Okay.”

He let her leave work when she was done with what she needed to have done for the day. She entered the condo and went to get ready for dinner. She put on some music and headed into the master bathroom, getting into the shower. She washed up, singing along to her music, relishing the feeling of being in her own place, name on the lease.

When she got out and got lotioned up, she looked for something to wear. Her mother would be especially pleased if she wore one of her designs, so she went with a cream blouse and matching pants. She was going to wear a pair of red pumps, but she changed her mind for a pair of red ballet flats. The pumps would insinuate everything she never wanted her parents to know. With the flats, she still got her little splash of color.

She had just finished straightening her hair when Bryan appeared in her room, smelling like the man-version of heaven. “Are you quite ready?” he teased. She rolled her eyes but smiled as she got up and took his arm.

“I’m quite ready.”

He leaned down and kissed her, leading her out to his car. He looked over at her as he started the engine. “You look really nice.”

“Thank you.”

Dinner had been uneventful. Bryan and Pamela’s newfound chemistry boiled just under the surface, but it hadn’t been spoken on. After they left her parents’ house, he took her a few towns out for dessert. If they stayed in their city, big as Detroit was, they could be spotted. So he took her out to Bloomfield Hills. It was a place Bryan had consulted for.

The two sat across from one another just smiling away. He fed her chocolate cheesecake, and she enjoyed that. It was romantic.

“Do you want me to stay with you tonight?” he asked. She nodded. She wanted that wholeheartedly. Hell yeah she wanted him to stay the night.

After the dessert, they left the restaurant, hand-in-hand. He took her walking down the River Walk, and they just talked and laughed. She loved his wise mind. He loved her naïveté. It was cute, and he could broaden and mold her mind.

He set her on the railing over the sparkling Detroit River. She held on to his neck, completely at ease, knowing he wouldn’t let her fall. He kissed her, and stared at her pretty face, tracing the outline of her lips with his thumb. Of course his wife was beautiful. But when they were young, she was no Pamela. “It’s getting late.”

“What do we have to do tomorrow?” he asked softly, his arms around her waist, his hands massaging the small of her back.

“Nothing at all.” She smiled.

They stayed out until well after midnight and when they reached her place, they showered but didn’t have sex and she liked it, that the thought for once wasn’t on their minds as they lied together in her bed, him spooning her. They just talked.

                                          *** ***

Pamela woke up with a smile on her face and looked over her shoulder at Bryan asleep. She slid out of his arms trying not to wake him as she headed to her bathroom. She dressed herself in a t-shirt he had there, and a pair of boy shorts. She made her way to the kitchen, singing softly to herself. It was such a good morning. Someone would think she had gotten laid. Just her mind.

She began making breakfast for Bryan, and he woke up to the sound of bacon sizzling. He came into the kitchen and kissed her, smiling. “Good morning.”

“Good morning.”

“I’m making you breakfast.”

“Thank you.”

“Please go and brush your teeth. I love you. But not enough to keep kissing that morning breath,” she said, teasing, but serious. He chuckled and headed back to her room. Soon, she heard the shower.

Bryan came out of her room fresh in a white tee, jeans, and socks as she set breakfast on the table. Never had she seen a man rock casual wear so well. Damn he was so good-looking.

They had breakfast, and he stayed after it, and he helped her clean up.

They sat on the sofa, cuddling, just talking for about an hour before she turned on the television set. He held her against his chest, her head resting on the arm of the couch. He could tell she wasn’t wearing a bra, but he didn’t bother with her. This no sex thing was actually pretty nice. He was enjoying her company.

She looked up at him and noticed he was staring, and she could only smile. “See something you like?” she teased. He chuckled, leaning down to gently kiss her, his tongue slipping past her lips and dancing with hers.

“Those lips,” he finally told her. She giggled and turned back to the television set.

Bryan couldn’t lie. He was beginning to feel like he was young again. It was happening slowly but surely. Pamela took the edge off. Without even really trying to and he really liked it.

She fell asleep, and he turned the TV off, carrying her to her bedroom, and he laid there with her, holding her close to him. He looked down at her beautiful face. He couldn’t fathom going home right now. He was glad to have her working with him. Because he could see her more.

Pamela woke up after an hour and started changing. “Where are you going?” he asked.

“The gym. Where are you going?”

“I’ll be here when you come back, love.”

He kissed her forehead before she left. He watched her hips switching as she left, her ponytail swishing. He loved the way she looked in her gym clothes. He loved her going to the gym. Making the effort to look as good as she did. Lord knew he did. He gave the young men a run for their money, because he would not let his body go to shit.

Pamela met up with her friend, Lila. She was a mutual friend of hers and Jada’s. The three had met in their freshman year. “You’re getting thick, girl,” Lila told her, popping her butt.
