Dying to Love Her (10 page)

Melanie fought back the quake that threatened to whip
through her body. This aggressive posturing turned her on and the momentary
spike of apprehension she had about what was about to happen waned.

It was hard to find air for her words when her lungs
greedily sucked it all down. “Well if we’re being honest then I guess I should
let you know that I can’t wait for you to get me into the bedroom and have your
way with me.”

“That’s something we can all agree on.” Alec reached for the
hem of her shirt and pulled it up over her head. He traced the edge of her
white lace bra where it met the swell of her breasts.

Melanie couldn’t hold back now. One touch, one small patch
of her skin teased and she felt heat all over her body.

“On or off, Rook? She looks so sexy in it I can’t decide.”

Rook stood at the base of the stairs. The way he looked at
her, she already felt naked. “Off, always off. Nothing is better than her
skin.”

Alec took everything off her with excruciatingly slow care
and then corralled her up the stairs and into Rook’s bedroom. She was flat on
the low platform bed—Alec fully clothed on top of her—before she knew what
happened.

Last-minute doubts—Alec’s wild kisses didn’t leave room for
them. This was happening and very soon. Melanie tried to keep her breaths
steady, tried to stay calm and relaxed but Alec was making it his personal
mission to see her lose control with each merciless touch.

“I’m going to love watching you come undone.” Rook stood at
the foot of the bed, savage heat darkening his eyes. He worked each button on
his shirt lose from neck to waist.

“How can you watch?” Alec’s rough chin skidded across her
skin, his mouth soothing the burn. “Melanie’s too beautiful not to touch.”

“Shit, you’re right. What the hell am I thinking?” Rook
peeled off his shirt and stripped away everything below his waist.

Rook’s muscled chest, the trim cut of his waist, even the
spear of his erection jutting out from a dark patch of hair couldn’t keep her
from noticing the new black-banded tattoo wrapped around his left biceps.

The bed dipped as Rook climbed on and stretched out beside
her.

Alec climbed off, pulling at his clothes as he went. As soon
as he flung his shirt to the floor, Melanie realized he had the same matching
tattoo. The pattern looked familiar. She looked to her bracelet and then back
to Alec’s arm. They matched.

“Where did those come from?”

Rook smiled and smoothed her hair away from her face. “We
didn’t mention that downstairs did we?”

“I’d say we were both too eager to get upstairs,” Alec chimed
in.

“You have your bracelet, we have these tattoos. Yesterday
Alec and I had a vampire tattoo artist mark us as claimed. People call them
tribal tattoos but the men wearing them are either transitioned vampires or
humans ripping off our designs.”

“But,” she stammered. “But yesterday I hadn’t agreed to
anything.” Melanie pushed up on her elbows. My God, her heart fluttered.
They
love me that much.
Reverently, she skimmed her hand over Rook’s new body
art. “What if I had said no?”

“You didn’t. That’s all that matters,” Alec said, removing
his pants. He gripped his perfectly shaped erection and with a slow slide
stroked himself. “We have years to talk about it. Right now I want to get to
the fun part of becoming lifemates.”

Rook evidently agreed. He pushed her back against the
luxurious bedsheets and covered her breasts with gently feathered kisses,
playing her body perfectly with the lightest touch. He teased her wickedly,
trailing his hand just below her bellybutton but never going further.

Melanie arched to his touch, reaching for relief. “More,”
she pleaded. “Touch me more.”

Alec molded his body against her other side and a shockwave
of rampant desire left her writhing.

“Ask and ye shall receive,” he said, his voice hoarse. Alec
whipped his hand down her body and she spread her legs as he pushed two fingers
deep inside.

She loved a man who listened. Melanie sighed as the ache
quenched with his first thrusts but then it rapidly grew hot like melted sugar
across her stomach, down her thighs, spreading as far as her toes. She threw
her neck to the side, wanting to be penetrated there too.

“Fuck me,” Alec groaned, slipping his fingers out and
running them down between the cheeks of her ass. The hair on his arms tickled
her thigh. “You’re already so wet and ready.” He nipped at her breast.

Alec teased her tight opening and began to force a finger
inside. Melanie tensed.

“Push out and breathe.” Rook’s soft words against her neck
calmed her. “Or you’ll pass out before you get to enjoy it.”

When the pain she expected didn’t come, she let go of a
lungful only to drag another deep breath in when Rook skimmed his hand over her
trimming of hair and found her clit. He worked an electric circle around the
swollen flesh, his pace matching that of Alec’s steady thrusts.

“More.” She gyrated against their hands, leaned against Alec
and sucked down his sharp citrus scent. “I’m ready for more.”

“You’re killing me here, Melanie,” Alec groaned. “You’re so
tight and I don’t want to hurt you.”

“The lube is in the top drawer in my bathroom Alec,” Rook
said as he slipped his fingers into her pussy and found her G-spot like he had
a tracking device on it.

“Please. Please…don’t stop.” Melanie panted and arched her
back thrusting against Rook’s hand as Alec left her side.

“Only because you asked so nice baby.” Rook rested his
forehead against hers, stared into her eyes and kept stroking her senseless. “I
love you Melanie. Love that you already trust us with your body like this.”

She cried out, his words touching her as deeply as his
fingers. He suddenly deprived her of his magic touch, wrenched her closer and
rolled them until she rested on top of his body.

“I want you Melanie. You don’t know what you do to me.”
Desire deepened Rook’s voice.

His skin was so smooth compared to Alec’s. Melanie ran her
mouth across Rook’s rigid jaw and chin and down to his neck, then licked her
way across his chest. The hard line of his erection went on forever and she
wrapped her hand around it as best as she could.

“I think I have a pretty good idea.”

“Oh fuuuck that feels good,” Rook ground out.

Melanie teased his nipple with her teeth before sitting up
and gliding her wet sex against him, moaning and pushing harder without taking
him inside. Too much more of this slick friction against her swollen flesh and
she’d be coming.

Alec returned, kneeled beside her and kissed her. They ate
at each other’s mouths like they’d been starving for each other for years, more
tongues than lips, wet and messy.

“Tell me you love me again.” Breaking away, he slid his hand
along the cleft of her ass. He never once broke eye contact as he continued
where he’d left off, sliding his cool lube-covered finger inside. Soon he added
another.

“I love you, Alec.” A cool sweat rushed to the surface of
her skin. Instead of pulling away, she pushed toward his fingers with a moan,
desperate for the stretch all the while digging her hands into Rook’s flesh.

She wanted him inside. Both of them.

“I’m ready, please,” she begged with what little breath she
could find. “I need you. Both of you.”

“Thank God,” Rook said. “Bend down over me so I can bury
myself inside all that warm heat you’ve been teasing my cock with.”

Anticipation stole her strength and she fell against him.
Alec removed his fingers and moved behind her. Melanie angled her hips just right
and her inner walls contracted with eagerness.

“Can’t wait to be inside of you.” Rook reached down and
guided every demanding inch into her body.

The rush of her body stopped. There was no sensation except
Rook pushing in, filling her. Alec settled his erection against her ass and the
heat from his skin seared hers.

Reflex made her clench and hiss.

Rook didn’t move as the head of his Alec’s cock nudged her.
“Shh, I’ll be as gentle as I can be,” Alec promised. “I love you.”

She tried but her muscles refused to ease. Alec stroked his
fingers across her skin, gentle and reassuring. She focused on that soft touch
and tried to remove herself from the burn when he finally breached her body.

Here was the pain she imagined. Sharp at first but with
every breath she took it abated. Melanie didn’t see how they’d ever move within
her. There was no room. She was so full.

“I don’t, this is—just don’t move, not yet,” she pleaded. If
they moved she’d be pulled apart.

“Easy, baby.” Rook pulled her closer and cooled her hot,
moist skin with a long, drawn-out kiss. “We’ll take it slow.” He moved and all
three of them released guttural groans, filling the room with the sounds of
their pleasure.

Alec slid in as Rook slid out, setting a rhythm. Melanie
couldn’t move. She was just the instrument being thoroughly played. They fucked
her, claimed her. And she loved it.

Gripping Rook’s thick arms with the same urgency as Alec
grasped her hips, Melanie screamed out their names repeatedly. Pain and
pleasure became one burning need deep within her, ready to combust.

“She’s gonna come soon,” Rook muttered. His strokes
intensified, pushing so deep it stung. “Fuck, she’s beginning to ripple all
around me.”

Alec drew his hands along her sides, slipped them around her
breasts and forced her up. “Not yet. Wait for us.”

If he wanted her to wait Alec shouldn’t have kept touching
her body like he was. He pinched and rolled her nipples between her fingers
each time he drove into her with another sizzling thrust.

Rook took her wrist. Alec her neck.

“This is our forever, Melanie,” Alec said on a hurried
breath.

Forever. That’s what they gave up for her. To think about it
brought her over the edge. Her orgasm hit her before their piercing bite did.
Sharp. Hot. Stars and streaks of light exploded behind her eyes. No more so
when their mouths clamped onto her flesh and blinded her with a shudder that
didn’t stop.

Forever wouldn’t be long enough.
