Ingredients:
1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and
chopped
1 large orange, peeled, seeded and sectioned
½ pound granulated sugar
Method:
1.
In a blender, place
strawberries and oranges and pulse till a smooth puree forms.
2.
Add sugar and pulse
till well blended. Transfer the mixture into a bowl and refrigerate for at least
16-24 hours.
3.
Remove from
refrigerator and transfer into an electric pressure cooker.
4.
Set the pressure
cooker on browning mode and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally for about 3
minutes.
5.
Close and lock the
pressure cooker lid and pressure cook at high pressure for about 8 minutes.
6.
Unplug the pressure
cooker and by using the natural release method, release the pressure.
7.
Carefully, uncover
the pressure cooker after valve drops completely.
8.
After pressure
releasing, remove the lid and again bring to a boil, stirring occasionally for
about 3 minutes.
9.
Transfer the jam into
a heatproof bowl and keep aside to cool in room temperature, stirring
occasionally.
10.
Transfer
the jam into a sterilized airtight container and refrigerate to preserve.
