Evanescent Ink (Copperline #4) (12 page)

“Just fuck me, Drew,” she grated out against my lips as though she could read my mind. “I get shots, so I won’t get knocked up, and you know we both get tested for work.”

Good enough for me. I ripped the obstructing lace away and pushed into her, feeling the tug and pull of my apa as I slid into her wetness. It had been a long,
long
time since I’d had pussy without a rubber. I’d never even had Maggie this way, to say nothing of all the girls that joined us. Not since I was young and dumb in high school. It had been good way back then, but this—Raven—
fucking hell
.

“Fuck,” I gasped. “Jesus fucking Christ, your cunt feels so good. This is going to be hard and fast.”

“Yes,” she panted. “Oh God, yes, Drew.”

And I did. Almost violently up against the bathroom door. Not giving a fuck if anyone was on the other side who could tell exactly what was going on with every slam of the door against the frame. The freedom of having this out in the open was electrifying. It released something feral inside me that consumed any restraint I may have once had.

And the firm grasp of Raven’s bare wet pussy was pure heaven. I pushed myself harder, increasing the force of each thrust until her short moans had turned into shrill sobs.

“Fuck, I’m coming,” Raven cried out as she started to tremble.

That was it for me. I blew up like fireworks. Lights burst across my field of vision, and Raven damn near screamed my name when I blew my load inside her.

“Oh Jesus… fuck…
holy fuck
…” I ground out against her neck.

Her own breath was hot on the skin of my shoulder as she limply clutched me to her. I never wanted to move again.

“I think I have bruises on my back,” she murmured breathlessly after a long while.

“Sorry,” I panted, doing everything in my power just to remain upright and not topple to the nasty bathroom floor.

Her arms tightened around me and she kissed my shoulder. “Don’t be sorry. Fuck, whatever you do, don’t be sorry. Although,” she giggled softly, “I think you also killed my panties.”

I lifted my head to grin at her.

“That means you’re going to have to go back out there all commando. And
that
means I’m going to need this again at the next break because that is all I’m going to be thinking about when I’m back up there on stage.”

Raven laughed, and the movement tightened her wet heat around me.

“No shit,” I choked back at her. “Sex with you was amazing before, but this… bare.
Jesus
…”

“I’m going to be a sloppy mess. I need to clean up before I go back out there.”

I kissed her long and hard, then spoke just a hair’s breadth from her lips.

“I kinda want my cum dripping down your legs.” My voice was almost hoarse. My throat went dry. “I want you wet and ready for me as soon as I’m done with the next set.” I gave her a little stirring movement that elicited a low moan.

Fuck
, I wanted her again
now
. I hadn’t even pulled out yet, and I was already starting to stiffen up once more. For a split second, I tried to calculate in my head if I had time to fuck her again.
Christ
, I was already halfway there.

Suddenly, a loud banging erupted from the other side of the door making Raven jerk in surprise.

“Drew,” Justin hollered through the heavy door, “quit boning and get the fuck out here! The crowd is going to riot if we don’t get our fucking asses back on stage.”

“Bastard,” I exhaled, and Raven breathed out a short gasp as I pulled out and lowered her shaky legs to the floor. Leaning up against the door, she looked up at me with a languid purple gaze. “Stay right there for a minute.”

She nodded, and I turned to grab some paper towels, wetting them slightly in the sink, then pressed them between her legs. Her breath hitched at the touch, a little cold maybe, but her little moan told me that wasn’t really a bad thing. I wiped her clean and tossed the towels in the garbage before yanking off the scraps of purple lace that had once been panties.

The lace went in my pocket.

“You’re keeping that?” she giggled.

“I’m going to sleep with it under my pillow,” I grinned back, and was rewarded with another light peal of laughter.

Once again, a fist pounded at the door. “Drew, you fucker! Let’s go!”

I placed a soft kiss on Raven’s lips and pulled her behind me to open the door.

“I’m coming, fucker,” I said.

Justin bellowed with laughter. “That’s what she said.”

“Dude,” Cody said, nudging Justin’s arm, “I think I actually did hear her saying that.”

“Screaming it, like,” Denny chimed in.

“Oh, God,” Raven said from behind me.

“I think she said that, too,” Justin chuckled.

I felt Raven’s forehead plant into my back. The heated flush of embarrassment was almost palpable through my t-shirt.

“Okay, guys,” I said, trying not to laugh myself, “get the fuck out of here and leave Rave alone.”

As they turned to go, Raven nudged me cautiously.

“Drew,” she murmured with a nod behind me. I turned to see Maggie coming out of the ladies room. She looked completely stunned. Almost angry.

And for the first time since I met her, seeing her didn’t create a knot in my gut. It didn’t make my heart lurch painfully. It actually felt kind of…
good
. Empowering.

Fuck Maggie.

So, just like I hadn’t even seen her standing there, I turned to Raven and gave her a long, hard kiss, one that left her breathless and trembling against me. And then I went back up on stage and played like a mofo.

A Bangin’ Mofo.

The freedom to fuck wherever, whenever was incredibly liberating. I had been half afraid that it would take some of the fun out of it all. That, because it was no longer our little secret, some of the excitement would wane.

But that couldn’t have been further from the truth.

Instead, it created a whole new aspect to this friends-with-benefits thing we had going. Raven came to the Copperline more. She even showed up at Mofo after parties more often where she sat on my lap in her short little skirts and flirted, rubbing her curvy little ass against my dick. She danced in the crowd with Felicity and Sophie and Ilsa.

And,
fuck
, she could dance.

It was incredibly hot to see her out there. The way she moved simulated sex, pure and simple. As I watched her from the stage, I could see the same expressions that crossed her face when I was buried deep inside her. As she moved, the smooth sway of her hips brought back memories of her riding my cock. The graceful glide of her hands over her body reminded me of the same movements over her bare skin, skimming down her stomach to work her clit, making herself come all over my dick as I pounded into her.

I walked around with a hard-on twenty-four/seven. At one time, being inside her was the only relief I had from heartache. Now it was the only relief I had from a constant state of arousal.

I couldn’t get enough of her, though. I fucked her at least once a day, sometimes twice. I wanted her morning, noon, and night. I had her pussy on the brain constantly. Touching it, tasting it, fucking it. Just when I’d think it couldn’t get better, something new made everything even more vibrant and solid.

More real.

Maggie didn’t pick up her necklace right away.

Part of me wondered if seeing me with Raven had anything to do with that. Part of me didn’t care, but another part still stung from her harsh words and her shocked expression.

For a couple weeks it sat there on the counter glaring at me, keeping me in a limbo, of sorts. I saw it in the mornings when I got up and every night when I stumbled in. Maggie’s constant reminder that she didn’t want me anymore. That I wasn’t good enough.

Then, one night when I got home, the necklace was gone and her key was in its place.

It struck a weird chord with me. The finality of it unsettled me. It was like the proverbial fat lady screeching arias in my ear.

I tucked it into the pocket of my jeans. Out of sight, out of mind.

I hoped, anyway.

Then I finished off a fifth of tequila which helped, too.

I woke up the next morning feeling rough and attempted to wash away the blurry, Cuervo-induced fog from my head. As I reached for my jeans from the night before to grab my wallet, the key plunked to the floor. Glaring at it momentarily, I picked it up, thinking I’d hide it under a rock outside or something. Might be good to have a spare key in case Justin or I locked ourselves out.

Then I headed into work to face the day, forgetting to leave the key behind.

That fucking key.

Maggie’s key. The one I forgot to hide outside at home. The one that had poked through the lining of my jeans pocket to stab me in the leg when I sat down to do some paperwork that afternoon.

I’d felt the weight all day, a bitter reminder. Making me crave the relief I found with Raven, then feeling even worse when I asked if she wanted to come over.

She told me she did, but she couldn’t. She had other plans.

I’d been a bit petulant for the rest of the day. Owly and irritable. Enough so that even Raven held back until closing time.

“Drew?” she softly called from the doorway to my office. “Neil left, and I’m getting ready to head out.”

I didn’t look up. It was like I couldn’t pull my eyes away from it.

That fucking, fucking key.

I heard her step into the room and cross to my desk, leaning up against it.

“What’s with the key?” she asked after a moment of silence.

“It was Maggie’s,” I replied flatly. “She dropped it off when I was at work yesterday.”

I felt Raven’s eyes on me, studying me, and then she spoke. “You doing anything with the guys tonight?”

Shaking my head, I tossed the key down on my desk. “Nah, they’re all busy with their women.”

“Even Justin?” she gaped.
