An anomalous wonder, this Terrain mammalian female. Tall and bewilderingly beautiful with smooth, tan skin. And no scales, no scales at all. Her soft, alluring features with well-defined chin and small round nose scattered with tiny dots, added ethereal loveliness to her unique alien face.

His hands drifted down to feel the supple hide covering her and further still. She did not have a tail, only a fused bone where the appendage belonged. His palms roamed her back, feeling and squeezing the taut muscles where a tail should be but was not. He marveled at the cleft and outlined it with the tip of his talon sensing the delight it brought her. He took pleasure in the sensations touching the female evoked in him.

The top of her head had a patch of hair the same golden crimson color as an Asconage sky at sunrise, as did the valley between her thighs. His webbed hand slid down to fondle the curly mound. Her body stiffened beneath his touch and her legs parted for him. He could feel the rise of her sexual heat.

He explored more.

His mating organ engorged, swelled with overpowering need when he found her wetness. He drove his sheathed fingers inside her open crevice and used his receptive web to slide along the slick outer surface. His talons found a distended nodule, a part of her arousal. He massaged its swollen tip with the edge of his web and thrust his fingers in and out of her watery opening. She writhed against the net of his hand causing stimulation to mount inside him.

The familiar mating hiss rumbled a vibration in his throat. He had to pull back and quell his desire to copulate, but abruptly, she reached out and impaled him. She pushed his hand hard into the wetness between her legs, thrashing against his sensitive web driving him to the brink of fervor. He hissed, knowing he must break the connection with her and pull away.

Hard, it was so hard.

Chapter Three

Maya woke with a layer of perspiration coating her body. An aching, wanting need pulsed between her thighs. She brought her hand down to push against her mound searching for relief, but none came.

Breathing fast, she opened her eyes. She sat half on half off the chair. Naked. Her clothes lay heaped on the floor. She peeked at the unconscious alien. He apparently hadn’t moved. But she had. She’d stripped off her clothing while having the most vivid erotic dream about him.

Quickly, she got dressed. As she buttoned her mini shorts, something cool and clammy touched her arm, causing a shiver. He sat on the edge of the table, his face no longer tinged with the pale blueness she observed earlier; rather, a deep russet color washed him. She tried to tamp the heat rising inside her. Maya stared at his gorgeous body propped on the table, awake and alive, his lean muscles tensing as he stretched
.

Slanted, sliver blue flecked eyes peered at her, holding a puzzled look. Her heart pounded as she took in his haunting, icy glare.

“I—I’m Dr. Maya Belle,” she cleared her throat. “I found you hurt in the desert near here so I brought you to my lab—my home.” She squinted and sucked in a mouthful of air. “Who are you? It’s a foregone conclusion you’re not from this world. Where do you come from?” She tilted her head. “Do you understand me?”

His far away stare caught her, and he started to stand. “You shouldn’t get up,” she said, “you could be suffering from head trauma.”

His arms flailed and he grabbed hold of her wrist, pressing her fingers firmly against his throat. Maya’s breath held. Her head filled with thoughts and words that weren’t hers, beseeching words. He spoke, but not with his mouth, with his mind. “Your name? You say your name is T’Kon, is that it?” His face registered relief.
Amazing
. She actually heard his words in her head.

His thoughts tumbled into her mind.

I am on a peaceful mission
.
My cloaked spacecraft malfunctioned and crashed into your planet’s surface. You do know where it is
.” She sensed his uneasy pause and then, “
You will take me there
.” It sounded too much like a commanded to her.

Yeah right, she thought and immediately tried to recant the notion. But it was too late. His icy gaze narrowed on her. Clawed fingers grasped a firm hold around her wrist. He emphasized one word. “
Now
.”

Blood pounded through her veins as excitement rose. “I will. I promise,” she said, wanting to prolong contact with this remarkable being. “But you need to rest first. And please loosen your grip on my arm, will you?”

He did as she asked but at the same time, he rolled his eyes. “
I am well, Terrain female. Yet you need to understand, I must leave here at once.”

She persisted. “There is so much I want to know. So many questions I’d like answered. Terrain? What does that mean?” She paused, “And you can call me Maya.”

She detected a slight smile forming at the corners of his mouth. “
Terrain is our name for your planet
.” He touched the back of his webbed hand along her cheek, startling her anew.

A sudden, cocoon-like sensation encased her as pleasurable warmth flowed inside her body. It spread like molten lava heating every fiber. She closed her eyes and again found herself standing naked in the warm, sienna sand. His body pressed hers as his cool, rigid cock swelled against her belly.

Maya’s eyes flew open and a surge of unease raced through her. She jerked away from him. “You were seducing me with your mind. I felt you there touching me. That’s
not
the way we do things around here.”

The female stormed away leaving T’Kon alone with an unnatural mating glow rising inside him. He shook his head. It did not make sense. Contact. He made an unauthorized yet unavoidable contact with an alien. And more, he had created a space so he could sexually explore her in a telepathically linked dream while she slept. And again just now. Earlier, as she ran her scintillating hands all over his body, he lay in a healing hiber-trance. Yet how could she know that about his kind?

He sighed at his own misgivings. He had no idea why the mammalian female intrigued him so. Her nearness activated his mating urge. It was peculiar and he could not reason the attraction aside from simple curiosity. It should never have happened.

Perhaps his brain refused to work properly as she had indicated. Maybe the heavy gravitational pull on the surface of this world prevented the occurrence of his usually rapid body healing. He must get to his craft, fix the malfunction and leave this planet. The longer he stayed, the greater the chance of danger. He did not wish discovery by the warring factions who governed her world. No good would come of it.

He extended his sleek, muscled body. The female, Maya, stood with her hands clasped firmly on her hips, her face pointed away from him. He strode toward her and lightly stroked her arm. “
I apologize
,” he communicated. “
I will not touch you again in that way, I promise
.” He removed his hand and stepped back. She seemed so willing; he sensed her arousal even now. Still, he would not pursue it.

She glanced at him, her expression easing. “How are you feeling, by the way?”

T’Kon could not help it. The corners of his mouth lifted into a grin. She captivated him and he did not understand why. He nodded, conveying his state of wellness.

“Good,” she said. “Are you hungry? I’ll bet you are.” She glided from the room.

He followed her. Yes, he did feel the stirrings of need inside his midsection. And another need as well, though he suppressed that urge. What could be appropriate to consume here? During the monitoring of Terrain, he had not researched habitat possibilities because of the hostility of this world. But he sensed no such animosity coming from this Terrain female. In fact, she seemed almost too open, too trusting. Perhaps he would have to rethink his original analysis.

He leaned against an arched opening and gazed at the female named Maya. She released the door of a large, rectangular box and cold air flowed out as she peered inside. He cocked his head in wonderment. What kind of strangeness was she doing now? As she bent over, her scanty lower body covering slid up and T’Kon got a full view of her appealing, tailless ass. Rapturous thoughts filled him. He squeezed his eyes shut.
Not again.

“Hmm, let’s see, what’s in here that you can eat?” she looked around the side of the box. “Vegetarian, right?”

He nodded.

“Here’s something—melons. I have melons. I bet you can eat these. I know iguanas love them.”

T’Kon decided it was time he activated his underused vocal cords. He did not like speaking aloud. His species had long ago abandoned this primitive form of vocal communication in lieu of more practical mind links. However, under the circumstances, it would make things easier. “Mel-in?” his voice came out raspy, and scratched against his throat.

She jerked up. “What? You spoke—you actually spoke. How long have you been able to do that?”

He did not answer as he watched her placed the pitted, tan ball on a flat surface. With a sharp blade, she cut it into pieces. The inner core of the mel-in appeared juicy and succulent with a fresh, tempting smell.

“I think you’ll like this. Here, eat.” She handed him a slice. “Go on, it’s good. It’s called a cantaloupe.” She picked up a piece and took a bite.

The mel-in juice trickled from her mouth and down her chin. He reached out and touched the liquid gathering it from her face. She closed her eyes and leaned into his caress as a low moan escaped her lips. T’Kon brought one taloned finger to his mouth and tasted the sweetness. He wanted to extend his tongue and lick more juices from her. He could not. He would not. He averted his gaze and concentrated on the offering of food. A surprise, the orange sustenance was a rare, delicious treat, cool and palatable. So, there were provisions to sustain him here. He ate more pieces until he devoured the entire ball.

“How did you learn to speak our language?” she asked, breaking the enjoyable silence of eating. “Not your native tongue I’ll bet.” She smiled and a crinkle stretched across her nose where a line of minuscule brown dots scattered onto each cheek.

The mating urge rose in him anew at the sound of her melodic voice. He had a compulsion to stroke those dots, see if he could rub them off. No, he should not touch her again.

He cleared the chafe from his throat by making a rattling sound. “While studying your planet, I picked up words and phrases.” His speech cleared, though it still hurt somewhat to commune this way.
