"So Kiyan, tell me about your self," Brielle asked.

"What's to tell, my name is Kiyan. I'm 25. I don’t have any kids. My mother raised me. I don't like my father. That's about it"

"Wow. Similar story. I'm 24 going on 25 in two months. No kids, raised by a single mom and I don't care two shits about my sperm donor father."

"We got something in common," Kiyan added.

Before Brielle could respond Byron came over and introduced himself and began taking requests. As Byron began the food, Brielle and Kiyan made small talk. Brielle learned that Kiyan had one brother and no sisters. He loved his mother dearly and he wanted kids in the future but not right now. Kiyan learned that Brielle was an only child and she graduated from Rutgers almost 3 years ago. After Byron was done with the food, Kiyan bought up the topic of sports remembering Brielle and Danielle's reactions to the basketball players last night at the club. He learned that she loved sports.

"So what kind of sports are you into?" Kiyan asked.

"The typical, basketball and football," she responded.

"Favorite team?"

"The Knicks, Giants and I have favorite players."

"Who are your favorite players?"

"I love Melo, Kevin Durant, Chris Paul, Victor Cruz & Hakeem Nicks. Just to name a few" Brielle responded.

After Brielle gave him her answer, Kiyan thought typical. She was trying to hook up with them last night. I knew it! I knew it was too good to be true. Kiyan decided to joke with her, even though he was dead ass serious.

"So you like dudes with money, Kiyan laughed, let me hide my wallet"

"Excuse me?" Brielle getting offended

"Nothing ma, just playing. Just joking around."

"I don't think you were "just joking" as you put it" Brielle said pushing her chair back.

"Ma, I'm just saying. I saw you last night all up in the basketball players face. I was just asking is that your type?" Kiyan asked.

"My type? If they were my type, I damn sure wouldn't be sitting here with you would I?” Brielle responded.

"I know, that's why I'm confused as to why you accepted the date," Kiyan said.

"Oh so now I get it, your a fucking ignorant ass nigga. You think just because you got money that shit is suppose to impress me, huh? You done lost your fucking mind. Let me teach you a lesson, a nigga with money can only impress a broke bitch and I am not broke motherfucker. I came here today just to get to know you and now I'm mad I wasted my damn time. And by the way Mr. fucking know it all, the people who faces you saw me in, they are my fucking clients. So thank you for assuming, and making an ass out of yourself. You got me fucked up," Brielle finished and got up from the table to leave.

After Brielle left, a stunned Kiyan said to him self, "Damn, I fucked up big time."

              20 miles over, Shanice and Lonzo's date was going the total opposite of Kiyan and Brielle's. They were getting to know each other and becoming comfortable talking to each other. Alonzo was explaining to Shanice how Kiyan signed him almost two months ago and how all he does is be in the studio working. Shanice began to tell him about her degree in business marketing and management. She then began to talk about her career as an event planner. When she was done, Alonzo was impressed that Shanice wasn't your typical hood chick. She made something out of herself and didn't let the hood hold her back.

"I'm impressed Sha." Alonzo complimented.

"Thank you, I try," Sha joked around.

"Nawh seriously. Here I am thinking you were only beauty. You got the brains to back it up. That's special ma,” Alonzo said.

"Awww, look at you making me blush"

"Yeah iight, so are you the only one who is an event planner," Alonzo asked.

"Yeah, I'm an event planner, Bri's an image consultant, Danielle's a sports agent, Chloe is a WNBA coach and Sabriya whom you haven't met yet is the fashion designer. She's the owner of Styles by S." Shanice bragged.

"Damn, that means all y'all making money. I ain't mad at y'all. I could tell y'all were different last night. All of the other chicks in the club were trying to strip in the club and all that other shit. You and your girls were just chilling having a good ole time. That's why I told my boy Kiyan to introduce me to y'all." Alonzo explained.

"Yeah, that's what we do. Kiyan seems cool. He went out with my best friend Bri today. I hope they're having a good time like us." Shanice added.

"Knowing Kiy, they should be good." Alonzo responded.

"Good. Well Alonzo I had a good time with you today." Shanice said.

"Me too. We have to do this again,” Alonzo said standing up to help her out of the chair.

"Definitely. Don't forget I might be planning your birthday party,” she reminded him

"There's no might. You are planning my party. When I meet up with Kiy and Cam later on I'm telling them I chose you," Alonzo said leaving out the diner walking to the parking lot.

As Lonzo was walking Shanice to her car, he gave a big hug and made her promise to text him when she get back to Bri's house. She promised and they both went their separate ways.

Chapter 6

"You damn right you did, you need to fix this shit" -Cam

While riding back home, to say Brielle was pissed was an understatement. She thought she would be ready to get over Murder, but as soon as she tried she was back at reality. Murder was a good for nothing, cheating ass nigga, but he never once called her a gold digger nor did he treat her like one. She knew that she would never want for nothing in life, but the fact that Kiyan approached her like she was a gold digger blew her mind. She thought to herself, Damn if he thought I was a gold digger his whole crew must think that. She didn't give a fuck about what Kiyan and his crew thought. She hoped he wasn't dumb enough to use her number after the shit he pulled at the restaurant. Once she got off the parkway she wished that all her girls were still in the house. They wouldn't believe the shit she went through with Kiyan.

Pulling up in front of her house, she noticed that Shanice hadn't made it back in from her date with Alonzo. She was praying that it went way better than that shit she called a date with Kiyan stupid ass. Every time she thought about what he said, she wanted to turn around and go slap the shit out of him. How dare he insinuate that she was a gold digger. She worked her ass off through college. She built her company up from the ground up. She wasn't given anything. She earned everything she had. Ugh, I can't believe this nigga, she thought. Brielle stepped out of Sha's car and went upstairs to wait for Shanice to come back so she could tell her girls about her fucked up date.

As soon as she stepped in her house, she heard Danielle and Sabriya in the living room laughing at Chloe. When the girls noticed that Brielle came in, they stopped laughing to ask her about her date with Kiyan.

"Hey Bri, how was your date with sexy ass Kiyan?" Chloe joked.

"Girl, lets wait for Sha to come back before I start, I'm going to take a shower," Brielle said walking out the room.

"Shower? I know she didn't give him none on the first date," Sabriya joked with Danielle and Chloe. They continued laughing with each other while they waited for Shanice to come in from her date and Brielle came back downstairs from her shower.

~~~~~
              Thirty minutes later, Shanice waltzed in the house from her date with Alonzo. She couldn't wait to tell the girls about her date or hear about Brielle's date. When she walked in she noticed Danielle, Chloe and Sabriya in the living room watching Just Wright, she didn't see Brielle, which meant she was either upstairs or in the kitchen. After she walked in the living room, she sat down on the chair while her friends greeted her.
"Heyyyyyyy Sha," Chloe yelled.
"Damn girl, do you have to yell?" she responded.
"Oh shut up" Chloe stuck her tongue out, "Bri, Sha's back"
"Hey Baby Doll," Brielle said hugging on Sha. "How was your date?"
"OMG y'all it was great. We didn't even stay at TOPS , we ended up going to Friday's. We got to know each other. He told me about when he started rapping and how he got signed. I told him about my job and what I do. He was impressed and we decided to go out again. Oh yeah and he hired me to plan his birthday party. Not too mention, he is so much cuter than I remembered." Shanice bragged.
"Awwww, Shanice got a little crush" Danielle joked.
"Oh shut up Danielle, leave her alone," Chloe said defending Sha.
"I was just playing. It sounds like they had fun and that's good," Danielle responded. "Now you missy, tell us about your date" pointing at Brielle.
Brielle blew out a sigh before she started, "Well I wish I could tell y'all my date went as perfect as Sha's did. That shit was terrible y'all. When we first got to the restaurant, it was all good. We ate our food and everything was going good until we started talking about sports."
"Sports? He doesn’t like sports? What type of nigga you know don't like sports?" Sabriya said.
"Girl let me finish. So we talking about sports and he was asking who my favorite team was and everything. So y'all know me, Melo all the way, and KD and Cruz & them. After I told him that, it was world war three all over again. This nigga like oh you like dudes with money, let me hide my wallet. Trying to be funny and shit. Then this nigga gone say that I was trying to kick it with the players last night in the club. Then he said my type was a professional athlete. After that I let him have it and I left," Brielle finished
"Oh hell no. I'm going to kick his ass. That nigga was trying to say you some broke ass gold digger," Danielle asked getting pissed off.
"Danny, calm down," Brielle trying to reason.
"Hell no Bri, what's his number so I can curse him out," Danielle asked.
"No D, Its over. I should have never gone out with him in the first place. It was too soon after breaking up with Jaiden anyway," she tried to reason.
"I don't care. He had no right to say you were a gold digger in the first place. He doesn’t even know you like that." Danielle stated.
"D's right. He had no right." Sabriya added.
"Awwww, man. What if all of them think that about us," Chloe added realizing they each exchanged numbers with Kiyan's boys.
"I don't think they did. If they did Alonzo will surely put them in their place because I was telling him at the restaurant, that none of us need a man for shit," Shanice stated.
"Well, it's over for that," Brielle said.
"I guess so." Danielle whispered. This shit wasn't over and Danielle knew when she seen Kiyan, she would let him have it.
"So ladies, y'all wanna eat dinner before saying goodbye," Brielle asked trying to change the mood in the room. She knew her girls would never turn down a free meal and would drop the subject. Little did she know, Danielle had already texted Cam and told him to lose her number. Chloe wanted to do the same but after Tyrese told her his secret, she at least wanted him to play himself before she dropped him.
~~~~~

              Later on that day, Kiyan met up with his boys at the studio to discuss business. When he walked into the studio, he heard his boy Lonzo spitting some mean ass lyrics. When Lonzo noticed Kiyan come into the studio he stopped and joined him, Cam, and Tyrese. He gave Kiyan dap and a brotherly hug. They started talking business about Lonzo's album first. He needed to start recording for his last track and they needed to find a leading lady for his new video. Just as Tyrese was about to suggest someone for the role, Lonzo interrupted him and asked if he could choose his own leading lady.
