Zoey pumped her fist up and down Pete’s cock, matching Thad’s rhythm. It was as if they all were one. Her heart beat hard, making her ears ring. Thad twirled, pinched, and soothed her nipples as he drove his cock into her. With each plunge, her climax neared. Heat swamped her and her vision blurred.

“God, Zoey,” Thad’s breath rushed out of him.

Just when she thought he’d take her over the edge he pulled out.
What?
Bereft, she let go of Pete’s cock. He leaned back on his heels and changed places with Thad.

“I didn’t come!” That sounded selfish, but she was so close to Nirvana that her impeding climax would have taken her to a place she’d never been before. Didn’t they know she wanted more?

Pete donned a condom, and Thad cupped her face. He rubbed a thumb across her lips. “That was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Jesus, Zoey, what you do to me.”

Pete rubbed her ass. “Amazing.” He hissed then rubbed a finger over her swollen, sensitive clit so many times she nearly burst.

“You have three seconds to fuck me hard, Pete Banks, or you’ll be sorry.”

“I love a woman who knows what she wants.”

“You want this, Zoey?” Thad pressed his uncovered cock to her lips. She didn’t need any more encouragement and engulfed his shaft. From everyone’s heavy breaths, they were all on edge. Pete let go of her tiny pearl and guided his cock straight into her hot core, her cream dripping down her leg.

All it took was one bold thrust for her to teeter on the brink of orgasm. She clasped Thad’s cock and pumped as hard as she could while she swallowed him whole.

“God.” Thad’s cry spurred her on.

Pete grasped her waist and fucked her hard and fast, just the way she liked it. Zoey pressed her hips back to take in more of him and rejoiced when he pounded her inner walls. She yelled. Pete grunted. Thad moaned. They might have sounded like an off-key orchestra, but the glory that consumed her robbed her of thought. When she cupped Thad’s hard sac, his hot cum blasted her mouth, forcing her to swallow quickly to keep up with his pumping. As soon as Thad finished, he pulled away, his throaty groans filling her with a deep thrill.

Pete slid his hand down her belly and nabbed her clit again, rubbing it in circles until her body burst. The climax she’d tried so hard to keep at bay descended with full force. With a final thrust, ecstasy claimed her, and she floated away on a sea of unexpected glory. His cock pulsed and throbbed as his jism shot deep into the condom.

After that, her sensory overload prevented all thought. Sounds dimmed and her vision saw only white. Hands rubbed her shoulders, touched her breasts, and stroked her cheek, but she couldn’t be any happier if she tried.

Then she was on her back. When she finally opened her eyes, both men were kneeling besides her grinning. Thad had a wet towel and was cleaning her.

“You okay?” Thad asked.

She smiled, but her lids fluttered closed. She forced them open, wanting to watch the range of emotions crossing their handsome faces. “More than okay.”

Pete got off the bed and extracted his phone from his pocket. “Reality always intrudes. What time do you need to get up?”

“Seven.”

Thad nodded. “You said Fridays are light days for you, right?”

“Thankfully. I’m not sure we’ll get much sleep in a queen-sized bed though.”

Pete leaned over and kissed her. “It’s not the size of the bed that will keep you awake.”

She laughed. “Don’t tell me you’re insatiable.”

“Oh, sugar. When it comes to you, I can’t get enough.”

“How about showing me?”

When the alarm sounded at seven the next morning, Zoey groaned. Her body throbbed from all the loving, but she wouldn’t trade the feeling for the world. After the three of them made love, and then rested for an hour, Thad and Pete wanted to see who was better at exciting her, so they played with her breasts. They’d teased her to a point of utter delirium and competed for her attention. Zoey finally had to plead off after her fifth climax. A woman could only take so much. With a little prodding on her part, they let her reciprocate. Touching their glorious bodies had helped return her to the land of ecstasy.

Keeping her eyes mostly shut, Zoey turned off the beeping then reached for her men. She found only cool sheets. What the—? Someone was here, as the shower was running. But which man?

Only one way to find out. Naked, she slipped out of bed and pranced into the bathroom. It was Pete. He was gloriously wet. At the sight of his muscular body, more lust tripped up her spine. “May I join you?”

He rinsed his hair. “You bet, but I’m running late, so I can’t take my time with you as much as I’d like.”

She only wanted to get clean. “That’s okay. I think I need to rest for a day or two anyway.”

Zoey stepped in and turned on her showerhead. If she could get through today, she could spend two days with her men. By the time the water warmed and she’d soaped up, Pete had finished.

“Need help?” he asked.

Zoey laughed. “I thought you said you needed to leave. I know you. You can’t stop with one touch.”

“Damn, you’re right.”

“Where’s Thad?”

“Guess you didn’t wake when he got a call a few hours ago. Some gang thing happened. He didn’t give any details and I didn’t ask.” Pete turned off his shower then moved toward her with the gaze of a predator. “How about one little kiss to keep me going for the day?”

She laughed. He might be able to do one kiss, but she wasn’t so sure that his touch wouldn’t make her yearn for more all day. “Sure.”

She wrapped her soapy hands under his arms and around his back before pulling him close. His lips descended on hers like a starving animal, and all thought of a quick goodbye kiss disappeared. His hard cock pressed against her belly, causing her pussy to clench and throb. Their tongues dueled and sparred, and they danced to a rhythm only they seemed to share.

Pete broke it off. His lids were half-closed and his lips slightly swollen from the kiss. “I want so much more, but we need to pace ourselves.”

As much as she wanted to spend the day with him in bed, she did have clients. There were also physical limitations. “Rain check then.”

He grinned. “Rain check.” His gaze shot down to her nipples. “They a bit tender?”

If she said yes, would he respect that she needed time? “Yes.”

He cupped her face. “Did we overdo it?” He winced and her heart ached.

“No. I stopped before they became too tender.”

Once more, the shine returned to his eyes. This time the kiss was quick. “I promised my parents I’d stop over tonight. They’ve been having some issues with water leakage in their kitchen, but Saturday night for sure the three of us should plan something special.”

“I’d like that.” So much for being with her men the whole weekend.

Pete stepped from the shower and towel dried before she finished washing.

“Be good,” he said as he stepped from the bathroom.

Zoey showered quickly and dried even faster. By the time she entered the bedroom, Pete was dressed in his suit. That meant he’d have to drive home and change before going to the construction site.

The need to give him another hug stunned her. She’d spent all evening with him, made mad passionate love with both of them, yet yearned for more. She dropped the towel and then kissed him on the cheek.

“You are a tease, girl. If I didn’t have to go, you know I’d stay.”

She turned him around by his shoulders. “Go.”

He grinned. “Later.”

Boy, did she have it bad.

Zoey placed the napkin on her lap and sipped her coffee, studying Thad. He looked good. Real good. “I’m glad you weren’t too tired to meet for dinner. The idea of eating alone doesn’t appeal to me.” She leaned forward and lowered her voice. “Especially after how amazing it was last night.” She hoped for a repeat performance tonight, assuming Thad could keep his eyes open.

A small smile claimed his lips. “Me, too. Knowing I’d see you for dinner helped me get through the day.” Thad rotated his coffee in his hands.

Zoey wanted to know more about his job. “Can you talk about the case?”

Tension riddled his face. Damn. “Afraid not. It’s an ongoing investigation.” From the strain in his voice, having to keep things to himself bothered him.

“I can relate.”

Thad nodded then brought the steaming cup to his lips. “How was your day?”

She chuckled. “Busy and a bit stressful. I used to look forward to going to work, but you and Pete have spoiled me.”

He cocked a brow. “How so?”

“You make me want to spend time with you both instead of studying my cases.”

His smiled broadened. “Ditto.” He then hesitated, looking like he wanted to say more.

When he didn’t, she continued. “Have you checked on Garrett McDonald?” She hadn’t wanted to bring up the past, but she needed closure.

A small tic pulsed around his eye. “He’s recovering nicely.”

She bet Thad was glad the man hadn’t died. The guilt over killing a person, no matter the reason, would have been hard to get over. “What will happen to him?”

“I spoke with his physician who said sometime next week he’ll be transported to a more secure facility. When he’s able, he’ll stand trial.”

“Good. And your ex-wife?” Zoey was curious the extent of Thad’s involvement with the case.

“I stopped in a few days ago like I’d promised. Peggy’s still recovering. Now that Garrett can’t ever harm her again, she’ll be able to go home, and hopefully get her life back on track.” There seemed to be a sense of peace about him.

“I’m glad.”

“Me, too. No one deserves to be in an abusive relationship, whether it’s physical or verbal.”

“I agree.”

Thad sipped his drink. “Did Pete tell you the wallboard is finally up in the new apartments he’s building for Harmony House?”

She was happy for him. “No.”

“Better still, one of the local lumberyards is picking up the cost of the drywall.”

“That’s fantastic.” Pete wouldn’t have to bear the cost of the entire project.

Thad then told her about the playground plans that were being drawn up, and that Pete seemed happy with the progress. As much as she enjoyed their dinner tonight, she wished Pete had been able to come. She’d gotten used to thinking of them as a threesome. The more time they spent together, the more it was like adding another brick to their foundation.

Thad paid for the meal even though Zoey had offered. “Ready?”

“Yes.” She stood and he helped her on with her sweater.

During the drive home, Thad was rather quiet. Something was on his mind, but she suspected it had to do with the case, which he couldn’t share. After parking in her drive, he escorted her to the door. Not wanting the evening to end, she opened up and ushered him in. “You want some coffee?” Thad had yawned a few times during the meal, but she hoped that with some fortification, he’d perk up.

As if he was just waiting to get her alone, his eyes suddenly sparkled. It was like her offer had uncapped some internal reservoir of energy. Thad drew her close, spun her around so that her back was to the front door and leaned in. “What I want is to delve into the recesses of your body and love you so hard you’ll scream my name.”

“Ooh.” Like a gigantic wave crashing to the shore, his intensity had surprised her, causing needlepoints of lust to prick her from head to toe.

Chapter Twenty-Three

T
had’s lips edged closer. “I can picture it now. Your mouth will open to gulp in air, your eyes will flutter closed in total ecstasy, and your tight pussy will clamp down on my cock while your climax drives you so high you can’t think.”

Her heartbeat sped up at the promise. “When do we start?”

Thad lifted her hands over her head and pinned them against the door. The kiss that followed had bolts of electricity shooting up her spine and igniting her body. Their intimate exploration alternated between sweet and urgent, but no matter the speed, she wanted more. When he leaned back, she didn’t want to open her eyes, but finally did.

He kissed her fingertips. “I need to get some shuteye or I’ll be useless tomorrow when the three of us are together.”
