Dear Reader,

As a thank you to all the people who have purchased this anthology, I’ve made a super secret area on my website in which you can find notes on how every story in the anthology came to be. Simply go to my website and access my
Super Secret Area
. You can ask questions, leave comments or just say hello there too.

If you want more stories from me, it’s easy; come and
join my Short Story Club
. Every month I put out a call for prompts, pick a winner and write the story. The winner reads it first then members get to read it. You will also receive a bonus story as soon as you sign up. Almost all of the longer stories in this anthology were created for the club, so you already have a sense of whether you’ll like it. There is a page on my site called “Sign up for free stories” where you can do just that. It’s free to join!

If you like young adult fiction you might also enjoy my debut novel “20 Years Later”. It will be published in hardback on July 5th 2011 and the e-book is available May 5th. (Squee!) You can find out more in the “My Books” section of my website.

I hope you find me online, I’d love to hear from you.

Until then, love and noodles,

~ Em x

20 Years Later

from Dystopia Press

LONDON, 2012: It arrives and with that the world is changed into an unending graveyard littered with the bones, wreckage, and memories of a dead past, gone forever.

LONDON, 2032: Twenty years later, out of the ashes, a new world begins to rise, a place ruled by both loyalty and fear, and where the quest to be the first to regain lost knowledge is an ongoing battle for power. A place where laws are made and enforced by roving gangs—the Bloomsbury Boys, the Gardners, the Red Lady’s Gang—who rule the streets and will do anything to protect their own.

THE FOUR: Zane, Titus, Erin, Eve. Living in this new world, they discover that they have abilities never before seen. And little do they know that as they search post-apocalyptic London for Titus’ kidnapped sister that they’ll uncover the secret of It, and bring about a reckoning with the forces that almost destroyed all of humanity.
