My body is on fire. I’m so turned on right now that my libido is overriding any fear regarding Glazov knowing about the exposé.
My husband has this way of mixing a mind fuck with a physical fuck, and it’s such a turn-on that I feel like I’m going to scream.
How the hell he managed to get a tape of me breaking into his office is beyond me, but right now, I really don’t care. His cock is filling me up, yet he’s not allowing me satisfaction, and it’s making me crazy.
“I’ll do anything, Glazov. I’ll beg, I’ll plead… Please, please, please…”
His only answer is to resume violently thrusting in and out of me while he studies the expression on my face. My head explodes and my body lurches off the bed when I’m finally allowed to come. My body is a limp puddle of satisfaction after the orgasm, now pliant and unresisting to his hate fuck.
Tomorrow is soon enough to determine how he accomplished recording the break-in and what he knows about the exposé. Some part of my psyche needs to ascertain what I missed, probably because I know this won’t be my last my attempt to outwit him. Right now, though, there is only Glazov and submitting to all the things he subjects my body to.

Coming out of the shower the next morning, I see my husband rummaging around in my office, openly going through every piece of paper on my desk. After rubbing the water from my hair, I toss the towel to the side and secure the belt on my robe.
“What is this, Glazov? Tit for tat? I went through your office, so now you have to go through mine.”
It sounds odd admitting to a transgression so high up on his ‘forbidden things to do’ list.
He turns and eyes me coldly. Despite the icy reception he’s giving me, I can admit he’s looking damn handsome today. He’s dressed in a tailored, navy blue suit with a baby blue and white pinstriped shirt, cufflinks, and a patterned tie with a tie clip. His shoulder-length hair is tied back in a ponytail, showing off his large diamond stud earring.
Honestly, he’s so good looking that it’s distracting. He stalks his way over to me, wearing the look of a predator, and he instantly ignites my body’s instinct to go into fight or flight mode. It’s an involuntary response and one I’ve become quite acquainted with whenever he is in my presence.
He toys with the belt on my robe, and the sneer on his face clearly conveys just how pissed he is.
“Full disclosure, right Ptichka?”
I close my eyes and bite my upper lip.
“Are you going to kill her?” I ask, wishing I could control the tremble in my voice.
“What do you think I am, a cold-blooded monster? She’s in the dungeon.”
He says it like it’s no big deal, just an everyday occurrence. I guess in our world, it kind of is.
My knees threaten to buckle beneath me, and he grabs hold of me as if he senses it.
“Don’t worry, she’ll be fine. Kodiak is with her—outside her cell, of course.”
“Oh my God, I’m going to be sick.”
Tearing away from him, I make it to the toilet just in time, right as the acrid taste of bile starts to burn the back of my throat.
His laughter rings through the air right before he speaks.
“You’re not pregnant, are you?”
The bastard knows I’m not pregnant; he’s being his normal asshole self.
After he finally leaves, I rush back out to my office to get my cell phone, hoping he hasn’t taken it just to be a dick. Katrina is the one and only person I can talk to about this. I don’t even care if Glazov watches the surveillance later and hears me talking to her. There’s only one thing on my mind right now—saving Logan.

Novak skeptically eyes me from across the desk in my office at the gambling house.
“So, how did you deal with your curious little kitten?”
“You and I both know
your
curious little kitten probably knew all about Kathleen’s little breaking and entering stunt, and she didn’t say a damn word about it.”
“Innocent until proven guilty, cuz. If my wife would have been the one on that tape, I would have dealt with her.”
“I hear you, but it still doesn’t change the fact that our women are partners in crime.”
“I think it’s funny that they get in so much trouble together. Besides, it gives me a reason to
discipline
her. What did you do to her? I’m dying of curiosity now.”
“You’re as kinky as I am, you sick fuck. I told her we were having a date night. I brought in the whole spread—you know, dinner and a movie.”
“You are a grade-A bastard, Glazov.”
“Guilty as charged. You should have seen the look on her face when the movie started.”
“What did she do?”
“She tried to run away, and let’s just say that I didn’t allow her to get far!”
We’re both laughing when my cell phone rings, interrupting our conversation. The screen’s display tells me it’s Tiny, so I hold up a finger to Novak, signifying that I have to take the call. I set the phone down on the desk between us so Novak can be a part of the imminent discussion.
“You’re on speaker, Tiny, and Novak is here in the office with me.”
“Just Novak?”
“Yes,” I answer him.
“We finished working on your bike last night… It’s ready to be picked up whenever you want it.”
“Great! I’ll be glad to have it back. Any problems with the engine?”
He knows exactly what I am asking. He is letting me know they bombed the skinheads’ house, giving me back my territory, and I’m asking him if there were any problems during the plan’s execution. A lot can go wrong when dealing with explosives. That’s the reason I picked the best in the business to get the job done.
“None at all, Glazov. My mechanics know what they’re doing. We were able to take out all the problem pistons, rebuild the engine, and it’s running like new.”
That’s his way of letting me know all the key gang members were inside the house when it exploded.
“Very good. Thanks so much, and I’ll be talking to you soon. Call me when your friend Roderick gets to town, and we’ll all have a drink together.”
“Will do, man. Talk to you soon.”
After hanging up the phone, I smile at my cousin.
“Things are going very well. Now, we only have the issue of Logan left to contend with.”

After reaching for my cell phone that, thankfully, is still sitting on my desk, I change my mind and grab one of my hidden burners instead. Feeling relieved he didn’t rifle through my desk drawers and find them, I collapse down into my plush leather office chair, still dressed in my robe. I love the fact that my bedroom is designed like an apartment. It’s so convenient to have my office and my dressing room adjoining the master bedroom. They’re still separate rooms, yet they were constructed in such a way that they’re set apart from the rest of the mansion, affording more privacy which I love. This is one of those mornings that I definitely don’t want to face anyone. My first priority is to make sure Logan stays safe and unharmed. Hell, I’ll settle for alive at this point.
My hands are noticeably shaking as I dial Katrina’s number. I feel so grateful that she and Novak moved here, especially at times like this. Not only did I get a new friend, but she is also a trustworthy partner in crime when I need help conspiring.
As soon as she answers, I begin speaking. I’m really upset about Logan, so there’s no doubt she’ll be able to hear the anxiety in my voice.
“Are you somewhere you can talk?” I ask, hoping Novak isn’t with her.
“Yes, I’m at home alone. What’s up?”
“Glazov has kidnapped Logan. She’s down in the dungeon, locked in the cell.”
“Oh my God! They must have done this last night. I was just working with her yesterday, and everything was fine.”
“You know how they are. They’re like wild animals, waiting until just the right moment to strike. I’m scared he’s going to kill her, Katrina.”
“Do you honestly think he’d do that, even with Kodiak being in love with her and all?”
“I don’t know what he’ll do; he’s fucking crazy. Last night he set up a date night for us, telling me we were going to have dinner and a movie at home. When he started the movie, it was a surveillance tape of me breaking into his office.”
“How in the hell did he find out about that? I thought you were careful to cover your tracks. You did all that research! You know what, Kathleen? He must have more than one camera in that office. They do the same thing with the safes. They have a dummy one set up that looks like the mansion safe, and then they have another hidden one that’s real. These Bratva boys think about every little detail of every little thing they do.”
I’m always one step ahead of you, Kathleen. I’m always watching you, my little Ptichka.
“I know… It’s clear to me now he has another camera in there I didn’t know about. He probably has it hidden in a plant or a clock. Fuck, at this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if he jumped out from a darkened corner and pulled a camera out of his ass.”
She laughs, and I continue talking.
“Why didn’t I think about that before—about him having another camera hidden in there? You’ve got to try and talk to Novak, Kathleen. Tell him that he needs to talk some sense into Glazov. If he kills that girl, Kodiak will hate him for the rest of his life. I’m not only concerned for Logan, but for the welfare of my family too.”
“Let’s do this… See if you can get down into the dungeon to check on her, and we’ll go from there. Logan will be able to tell you if Glazov has threatened her.”
“Okay. That sounds like a good plan. I’ll talk to you later after I find out what the fuck my husband is up to.”
“Do you still want me to talk to Novak?”
“Yes, we need to do everything we can to save her life.”
