“Are you saying they are scared of the thing that tried to kill us?”

“Yes.”  Slade didn’t hesitate to tell Zach the truth.

“Is this thing that tried to kill us supposed to scare us?”

“Yes.”

“Instead of saying yes, why not tell me what the fuck is out there hunting us down?”

“She isn’t hunting us right now, she thinks she got us.  Hopefully she never finds out that we lived.”  Slade crawled backwards not trusting if the agents wouldn’t take a clear shot if they could.  “Okay first we need to find out why the Sanctum is so scared of dragons, secondly we need to find out what we did to piss her off, and most importantly how to avoid the apex predator.  Only if there was a way to use her against the Sanctum.”

Zach crawled backwards and started to load the guns back in the Jeep.  “Okay so first you say we need to find out why the Sanctum is scared of Dragons.  Secondly,” he drew out the word finally catching on with the dragon bit.  “Dragons, as in scales, claws, fire, lizards with wings, dragon.”

“Yes, that’s the one.”

“You know, maybe facing the Sanctum right now isn’t such a bad thing after all.”

“They would kill you on the spot.”

“So… it’s better than being burnt alive, or eaten alive.”  Zach’s eyes were the size of golf balls now.

“You’re too skinny, I am the better taste.  I have more meat, so stop acting like a baby.”  Slade sat down in the driver seat and started the Jeep again.

“Stop acting like a baby he says,” Slade could hear the sarcasm dripping from Zach’s mouth.

“Just makes the game more interesting, think about it, you could become a legendary dragon slayer, if she finds us again.”  Probably not, the dragon could kill both of them in an instant, but Slade didn’t forget how much Zach loved a good challenge.

“Legendary you say?”  Zach started to smile on the new challenge.

“Yes, legendary, you always did like a big game hunt.  Well they don’t get bigger than this.”

“I mean how hard is it to kill a dragon?”  Zach stared at Slade waiting for an answer.

“Not hard at all,” Slade lied.

Night fell by the time they pulled into the town.  They wanted to relax, and Slade knew of a place the Sanctum didn’t enter.  He pulled the Jeep in the parking lot and drove to the edge of it to hide the Jeep in the shadows of the night.  The lights from the city seemed to be stopped by something un-natural as the building’s lights took over.  A spotlight circled the building only to lure the many customers waiting to enter.

“Do you think stopping at a night club is truly an answer?”  Zach asked following Slade towards the club.  The club was always under watch but the Sanctum never dared to make move.  Always the order was to never shoot anybody or anything in the club or by it.  Something scared them from entering and Slade wanted to know why.  He could feel thousands of eyes staring at him though, not just from the club itself but also from the building next door.  He didn’t know how he would sneak back out, but he was sure he would.

“Just don’t look suspicious.”  Slade said as they turned around the corner, and the entire line turned and stared at Slade’s massive size.  Slade just kept walking, Zach following but using the open space that Slade naturally made just by walking.

“Yup, not suspicious at all,” Zach said with a smart-ass grin.  Slade just continued to walk forward as Zach followed.  They got to the front of the line where the bouncer stood.  “Slade he looks larger than you, I didn’t know they existed.”  Zach said standing behind Slade as the giant squared up to the other giant.  The bouncer was bald like Slade was, but this man had beady black eyes.  He sported a mustache and goatee.  He wore black jeans, with a black T-shirt that read “Security.”  The man wore an earpiece that went behind his head and down the shirt.  He had a clipboard that had the important names on it.  Zach was even doubtful that he could slide in.

The bouncer’s eyes started to lift first to Zach and then to Slade like he was scanning for a weakness.  Then his eyes danced toward a smaller twenty year old.  The kid walked up to the bouncer in a cocky manner, “you going to let us in Ogre, or just stand there until we show you how we roll.”  The only way you could tell his friends were there was the group of men that stood in the line with a worried look.

“No,” the voice sounded like thunder, hair standing up on ends.  Even Slade felt bad for the young boy whose mind started to turn as he saw the crowd watching him.  With a half kind of swift movement, his arm went back.

Slade quickly whispered to Zach, “He is not that dumb is he?”  The fool threw a punch at the bouncer’s stomach connecting with all of the small man’s might to his stomach.  The bouncer’s face drew into a grin as he closed the distance to the small man.

“Yes he is that dumb.”  Zach stepped back with Slade knowing this wasn’t going to be good.  “That didn’t look like it hurt him at all.”  Slade just nodded and watched as the bouncer grabbed the young man and threw him over a car that he bounced off of.  The friends rushed towards their injured friend.  “However, that looked like it hurt.”  Zach took a gulp as the bouncer now again stared at them.

Then just as Slade was going to say something the bouncer’s head turned to face two girls that started to walk past the crowd.  You could hear gasping and every man and female staring at the half-naked girls.
One of the girls was wearing an almost see through white dress.  It had a thick design that lay just under her breast, the straps of the dress were slim, and her shirt was trying to show the crowd what it hid.  Her skin seemed tanned professionally, her eyes green.  Her hair was black; she wore sandals, not heels like most girls but sandals as if she was headed to the beach.  Her look begged for attention saying that she was bad.

The other girl had black hair but it seemed to wave behind her, her blue eyes reminded you of water.  Her skin brown, and her she wore something close to  a thong covered by a see through white flowing dress on her waist but her top was bare but for the small bikini top.  She was also wearing sandals.  Her looks similar to the other making the boys drool.

Something was different about these girls, something more erotic than other girls were.  Something that Slade wanted to find out.  He didn’t care if it took all night.  The girls stopped and stared at Slade first, probably due to his size and then Zach.  Their face seemed to change but then as quickly it changed, it changed back to their straight face.  One pointed her finger out and signaled them to come over the bouncer standing to the side to let the two men get near.  An urge hit him to see them naked beneath him sweating, panting, and begging him to keep going.

“Hello boys, my name is Summers Rain and this my girlfriend Rose Petal.  You two look new here; want to have drinks with us.”  Slade didn’t think they were dancers, even if their names sounded like they were.  Sliding his sunglasses on that he had in his pocket, he studied them.  The girls waiting for an answer, Zach drooling too much to answer, and Slade confused by the two images he was seeing in his shades.  They looked human, but with the shades on, they appeared naked.  There was something else, like smoke coming from their bodies entering anyone that was by the beautiful girls.  He studied the smoke, and then saw Zach, and Zach had something different about his complexion.  He saw marks around him, something else dance though around Zach.  Then Zach stared at Slade, and Slade quickly took his shades off confused about what he was seeing.

The confusion wore off, and Slade knew what they were.  “Ladies, I apologize but could you two give us a second?”  The nymphs looked confused but were very polite.  Nymphs that fed on sex and love as a substance to stay alive.  A creature that all men dared to touch to feel such erotic then ended up dead in the morning.

“Of course, don’t be long.”

“We won’t be,” Slade turned away and stepped away from the girls.  “Zach,” Zach still stood by the girls, Slade almost forgetting that Zach loved a good naked woman.  He grabbed his shoulder and pulled him over, “get a hold of yourself.”

“Jealous, which one do you want?”  Zach already enchanted by their magic.  The nymphs didn’t need magic too get Zach in bed he figured.

“You don’t understand, they are nymphs,” Slade whispered to make sure the nymphs couldn’t overhear him.

“Sweet,” Zach turned to head back to the girls.

Slade stopped him with his big hands.  “You’re a fool; nymphs can kill by sex, by draining your life.”

“Even better,” then Zach stopped blood was returning to his head.  “Did you say kill you through sex?”  He looked at the females then back to Slade.  “That is just cold.”

“Yes, but maybe they can get us to someplace safe, you see that design on her dress, and I’ve seen that before, they belonged to some kind of cult.  A cult that we fought numerous times on direct orders, never alone.  The Sanctum is scared to make a scene here, I want to know why.”

“So we need to go in and warm up to sex vampires.”

“Yes, but try not to call them that.”

“If I die because of sex, I am so haunting your ass.”

Slade approached the girls, Zach a little more hesitant than before.  “We will be delighted to join you.”

“That makes us so happy,” Rose Petal now spoke.

Slade followed the nymphs through the club into a V.I.P. section dragging Zach with.  Enough smoke filled the first level that you couldn’t see the flaws in the person you danced with, even if they weren’t human.  The lights bounced off the smoke making the perfect mix for a fun night.  Music vibrated off of everything, like the nymphs begging you to have fun.

As they sat down, a topless waitress approached, “The usual boss?”  The two girls smiled and nodded.  “And for the two hunks,” it took awhile for Slade or Zach to answer.  They weren’t sure who she was talking too, until Zach looked above her breast and saw her eyes staring at him.  Zach nudged Slade, who was staring around trying to find the quickest escape route.  “Sir, after your down with my bosses, you are welcome to come and play with me.”  A smile grew on his face, not embarrassed about it at all.

“I’ll take southern old comfort,” Zach finally said.

“I will take a glass of Riesling.”

“Coming right up,” and she walked away.  However, not before Summers Rain slapped her ass.

“Wow such different tastes.”

Slade nodded and looked back at Zach who was staring at the waitress leaving.  “I like her ass also, that’s why I hired her.”  Rose Petal said.

They both turned their heads to stare at the girls, both thinking of the same thing.  The drinks came later, Zach and Slade were so busy talking, and being seduced by the nymphs, they forgot what they came for.

“Sorry ladies, we were away on special training, and haven’t been in company of such fine ladies in a very long time.”  Slade said trying to regain control again of the night.

“You poor men, I love military men,” Rose Petal said taking Slade’s hand and rubbing it.  Slade watched as she massaged his hands.  Her fingers traced tingled and soothed.  Slade looked deeply in her eyes, feeling her trying to put him in a trance.  The lights and sound soon faded and he could hear nothing but her.  He couldn’t feel anything but soft hands over his rough hands.  “You are so handsome, come to my room.  Fuck me; show me you’re a man.  Make me beg for mercy.”  A seductive smile followed as her tongue slid slowly over her teeth.  Slade caught himself slipping, and forced his mind to re-open to re-focus on something else.

He tried to focus on Zach but Summers Rain was working on Zach’s hand and he wasn’t snapping from it.  Just as Slade tried to get up, “You’re so tense, what troubles you,” she said with her soft voice, the rose smell of perfume coming off of her in thick waves.  Something in Slade told him he couldn’t hide it, he couldn’t hold the truth from Rose Petal.

“I am after my ex-employer, and know that the organization you belong to could help me.”

“Who was your ex-employer?”  She asked her voice still hypnotizing.

Slade’s head cleared for just moment, and he yanked his hands free, smacking Zach in the head and knocking both of them over, snapping Zach out of the trance.  This gave them the moment to themselves that they needed as they stared at the ceiling catching their breaths in hard rasps.

Before we knew it, the bouncers jumped and held them down.  Slade’s eyes went wide and intense as he tried to lift against the three bouncers on him.  Zach yelled for the two to get off him, but they couldn’t break free.

“Get one thing straight agent, your kind is not welcomed anywhere near here.”  Slade stared at Rose Petal.  “You will tell us everything we want to know.”  She smiled when she said that.

“Let us free and we will.”  Before Slade could say another word, Rose Petal brought down her lips and started to kiss him.  Her tongue and saliva caressed Slade’s lips opening his mouth to take her tongue.  His brain went blank during the deep kiss, his body taking control, the guards letting go of his hands and he took his hands and caressed her ass.  She moaned a little, making Slade moan louder.  His eyes closed as his rod grew.  She must have sensed it for her body soon covered him as started to grind on his erection.  “Who are you?”

“I’m Slade and this is Zach.”

“Are you going to tell me everything I need to know?”
