She raised her eyebrow and resisted whacking him. No woman wanted to hear she was easy.

“Argh, not like that. I mean being with you. I can sit with you happily and just watch a movie or at the table and tell you about my day. I’ve had many relationships, and none has ever been as easy and comfortable as I am with you. I know we don’t agree on everything.” He coughed, “Your music. And I’m sure we’ll fight, but I know we will talk and work it out.”

He was right, and she relaxed. This time, when he reached for her, she went to him and snuggled back against him. “Thanks for distracting me and telling me a bit more about you. I’ve never been in a relationship before. I watched my parents, sister, and friends, though. I know what I don’t want in a relationship. I’ve been scared. I didn’t want to end up like my sister, and I’ve seen the problems my friends have, so I’ve been hesitant to start a relationship. You snuck up on me though, and I’m happy.”

Gordon brought her hand up and kissed it. “I think that’s one of the reasons we work so well because we were friends before we started this.” He leaned down and kissed her forehead. “Why don’t you lie across me and see if you can sleep. It might help your anxiety.”

Wiggling the seatbelt around, Dawn maneuvered into a somewhat comfortable position and closed her eyes as she breathed in his comforting scent. She loved this man, and the more time she spent with him, the harder she fell for him.

As she closed her eyes, she told herself that in Vegas, she would be adventurous and enjoy her time with the man she loved.

Begin in Vegas
was amazing
.
Gordon booked them in her dream place of Caesars Palace. She gazed around their room. It was sparse with a bed, television, wardrobe, and bathroom, but they didn’t need much. Gordon sat the suitcases in the wardrobe, and as he came back to her, she pulled him to her and he came down on top of her. She smiled up at him and wrapped her arms around him, eager to thank him for everything he’d organized and done. “Thank you. This is unbelievable. I can’t believe I’m here to experience this with you.”

His forehead came to rest on hers. “I wouldn’t want to share this with anyone else.” Gordon brushed his lips over hers as he settled himself above her. He leaned to his right and let his left hand explore. His mouth claimed hers in a kiss that had her lifting up to rub against him. Her hands roamed his body untucking his shirt and coming around to undo his button. His hand captured hers and his mouth left lips. “Is this how you want to spend your first night in Vegas?” He winked.

Grinning, she eased her hands from his hold and pulled down her black tights and undies, and then kicked them off. “Aren’t we in the city of sin? Isn’t it what we’re supposed to do?”

His eyes lit up blazing with passion as he stared. His deep laugh had her shivering at the sexy edge to it. “Oh, Dawn, you are so perfect.”

Dawn giggled as he stood and yanked his clothes off as fast as he could. She lifted her shirt and undid her bra, letting them fall to the floor with Gordon’s clothes. Her gaze racked his body, as he stood before her naked for a moment staring down at her. She squealed when he grabbed her ankles and pulled her down to the end of the bed, kneeling and settling between her thighs.

Gordon wasted no time. He buried his face, and his tongue licked her from top to bottom. His hands gripped her thighs spreading them further apart before venturing to her core to spread her pussy lips. His mouth found her clit, sucking and flicking his tongue over the tip. Jolts of pleasure shot through her ramping up her need.

Gasping for air, the more he explored, the more sensitive her body became. Her body craved the man between her thighs, and the need she felt was so strong, it was as if it had been years since they’d been together. She spread her legs further apart and arched up grinding against his onslaught. A thick callused finger pushed into her core and moved in and out. Gordon kept sucking her clit in, and she wasn’t going to last, her orgasm close to the edge ready to explode. He added another digit and pumped them in and out faster and deeper. Dawn moved with him, her hands gripping the sheets for an anchor as she searched for the high she knew Gordon could give her.

His teeth scraped over her clit as he scissored his fingers, and the two combined had her closing her eyes and falling over the edge. “Gordon,” she screamed, and her hands came down to grip his hair as bliss flooded her.

Gordon nibbled and licked his way up her still tingling body. The tip of his cock lined up to her pussy, and he rubbed it along her sensitive lips before easing into her. Opening her eyes, she gazed into his lust-filled green ones. “I’m so God damn lucky. You’re beautiful.” He brushed his lips over hers. Buried to the hilt, he rested his forehead on hers. “It feels like forever since I’ve been inside you. I can’t ever get enough of you. I’ve never felt what I do with you for anyone.”

His mouth took hers as he moved out. She could taste herself on him, and it made her wild, turning her on. Wrapping her hands around his back, she held on as he thrust into her over and over, giving her everything she craved and more. Slipping back on the bed, she wrapped her legs around him, gripped his arse with the heel of her feet, and gripped the sheets. She held on for dear life as he drove into her, his cock hitting just the right spot every time. Each hit of her g-spot had her screaming out her satisfaction and begging for more. “Oh, God. Yes, Gordon. Oh, more. Please. Yes. More.”

Gordon grunted, and she moaned as he plundered her. Gazing up, she watched Gordon as he gritted his teeth and pounded into her, straining to hold himself back until she came again. She loved watching Gordon and the effect she had on him, it built her passion higher and made her feel like the beautiful woman he claimed her to be.

Grinding his toned arse with her feet, she pushed up screaming as his dick pushed so hard on her pleasure spot she saw stars. Her body combusted, and she broke into a thousand tiny pieces as she came hard.

“Holy fuck,” Gordon yelled as he propelled into her one more time on a moan. She felt him stiffen, and she watched, fascinated as his body tensed, his muscles coiled, and then he let go. Gordon eased out, and she stared at his slick body covered in sweat. Sitting up, she pulled him onto the bed and wiggled them to the head and snuggled into him.

She basked in her bliss, enjoying his hold before she had to call her sister and Amber to tell them she got to Vegas, and she was safe.

“I have to skype my family and Amber. They’ll be worried. Why don’t you go see your friend?”

“I can stay. I’ll see David at the party. I’d rather stay here and spend time with you.”

Closing her eyes, she kissed his chest and ran her fingers over his abs and stomach. Right now, she was happy and was with the man she loved. Nothing could ever ruin that. “I’m sure they can wait a little while longer.” She kissed his chest again, and he squeezed her against him. Nope, nothing could ruin this.

Chapter Five

It was their
first day in Vegas. They’d arrived the day before and had spent it mostly in their room. Gordon had a lot to tell Dawn, but he didn’t want to ruin what they had now. He knew when he told her, everything would change. He had a presidential suite paid for but couldn’t stay in it until he told Dawn who he really was. Otherwise, he had no way to explain how he could afford it. So the first night, they’d stayed in a room on the lower floors where the casino noise was louder, but the room was cheap. He’d flown economy
plus
for the first time in his life. It wasn’t something he planned to ever do again. He’d felt sorry for himself, but the poor bastards in economy—he didn’t know how people did it.

He’d seen David last night when Dawn had skyped Destiny, Dilan, and Amber. David thought it was hilarious the situation Gordon had put himself in, but he promised to keep his secret when he met Dawn for the first time.

Dawn came out from putting her make-up on in the bathroom, and Gordon fingered the box in his coat. He’d found the perfect ring for Dawn, it was white gold with a black round ruby and diamonds surrounding it. Gordon knew as soon as he saw it that it was meant for Dawn. It was a lot less than what he would have spent on her if he’d designed one, but he knew Dawn wouldn’t care if he didn’t spend a million on her engagement ring. He bought the ring and then sent it off to be sized and matched with a wedding band he designed to go with it. He had gotten it back this week, and he’d had it with him trying to find the right time to ask her.

David told him to marry Dawn today in Vegas. David thought Gordon should marry her before he told her who he really was, and then there would be less chance for her to run. Gordon knew it was wrong. Right now, as he stood up to join a smiling Dawn, who looked amazing in a black fifties style dress with blue poke-a-dots and black high wedge shoes that gave her a little height, he was going to listen to David.

Leaving their room, he held her close taking deep breaths to calm his nerves. He was going to do it. He wanted Dawn. He loved her. She would be a wonderful mother and a great companion to have through the years. He was a woman he would fight for. He would follow her where she went. She was loving and caring and just what he wanted. He had never been happier than when he was with her.

Confident and sure, he knew Caesars Palace had a nice water feature and just the right spot. Dawn was practically bouncing with her excitement over being in Vegas. She was ready to explore the city. Gordon hoped she loved him and prayed she said yes.

Dawn’s smile got bigger and bigger as they got off the elevator and outside of Caesars. He gripped her hand tighter and guided her to where he wanted her. “Where are you taking me first?” She squeezed his hand.

“I thought we’d have a look at the water show in the daylight before we see it tonight.”

“Sounds great.” Dawn pulled him faster, and he couldn’t help but laugh and happily follow her for a moment.

Gordon couldn’t remember when he’d been so happy, but Dawn did that to him, she made him stop and appreciate the simplest things. When they reached a spot he thought was perfect, he gathered Dawn to him and did, what he’d wanted to as soon as she had stepped out of the bathroom. He took her mouth with his in a kiss that showed how crazy he was about her. Dawn brought her hands up and circled her arms around his neck gripping him tight. Reaching up, he unraveled and held her hands, bringing them back down, and then he slowly eased away holding her hands in his own.

“Dawn, there has been a pull between us since the first night I met you. I fought it worrying about our differences, but the more time I spent with you, the harder I found it to resist you, and I’ve fallen.” Gordon let go of her hands and got down on one knee. “Dawn Ramsey, will you marry me?” He held out the ring.

Dawn stared down at him, her mouth agape and blinked serval times. A moment passed, and Gordon worried when she didn’t answer. Then very softly, she whispered, “Yes.”

Placing the ring on her finger, he got up, pulling her to him. “Say it louder.”

Dawn giggled and threw herself at him. “Yes. Yes. Yes,” she said over and over. There was clapping around us, and Gordon couldn’t keep the smile off his face.

Burying his face into her neck, he nuzzled against her and placed feathered kisses over her skin. Taking a deep breath in, he hoped she went along with the next part. “Let’s do it now,” he whispered against her ear. “Let’s have a Vegas wedding?”

Dawn pushed at him, and he eased back. “Now? Are you joking?”

He shook his head. “I’m serious. We have everything we need. Think about it. You don’t want a big wedding, do you?” Dawn wasn’t one for a lot of attention on her. The only thing he thought would be a problem was her sister, nephew, and friends, but he hoped, if he pressed further, he could convince her. “We can always have something small at home later with your sister, nephew, and friends.”

Gordon knew he had her when she nibbled on her bottom lip and gazed down at her ring. “How long have you had this? You know it’s perfect, right?”

“I’ve had it for about a week.”

“But we’ve only been dating for over five weeks. Oh. My. God. This is crazy.”

“I knew after the first week. And we have been friends for months.” Gathering her hands in his, he stared into her eyes. “What do you say?”

“Okay,” she whispered.

He knew he needed to act now before she changed her mind. Dawn wasn’t a snap decision kind of person. “Let’s go. I’ll call my friend David.”

Dawn couldn’t believe
what she was doing. She stared at Gordon as a celebrant married them. After only having enough time to have a quick introduction to his friend, David, who had picked them up in a limo, he took them to a little chapel where she was ushered in and given paperwork to fill out. Then she was taken away to change into a dress. Dawn decided to stay in what she was wearing. She wasn’t really a white dress girl. She added some flowers and redid her hair and makeup, and then came out to Gordon where she now stood.

“Repeat after me. I, Dawn Ramsey, take Gordon Wilks…” The celebrant spoke, and she repeated his words on a shaky breath. Gordon followed, but his vows were clear and sure. “You may now kiss your bride.”

Startled it was all over, she took a moment to respond to Gordon’s kiss. Then she let herself go, fusing her mouth to his, taking what was now officially hers. Gordon’s lips left hers, and he moved her to his side. David came over, and Dawn studied him this time. He was about the same age as Gordon, but that was where the similarities ended. He was a redhead and radiated power and money. His suit looked expensive, and his eyes were shrewd and he seemed almost hard. A shiver of unease made its way down her back as he stared at her. She needed to be nice though. This was Gordon’s friend. His best friend, supposedly.

“We haven’t had a proper introduction.” He held his hand out as his eyes scanned me from head to toe. She told herself not to shrink back at his assessment, but it was hard. “I’m David Blamey.”

Dawn took David’s hand, shaking it. He had a strong firm shake. “Nice to meet you. I’m Dawn Ramsey.”

“Wilks,” he corrected in a harsh, no-nonsense voice.

“I beg your pardon?” Feeling uncomfortable, she looked around for Gordon and found him talking to the celebrant.

“Wilks. Gordon’s last name is Wilks. You will be taking his name?”

Crap, Dawn hadn’t thought that far ahead. She hadn’t thought about this at all. She was never this impulsive. Oh, she suddenly felt sick. Darting her gaze around, she found what she needed. “Excuse me.” Not waiting for a response, she practically ran to the bathroom.

Going to the basin, she stared at herself in the mirror before turning her gaze down to her rings, holy shit. It fit perfectly and was better than anything she could have wished for. Her wedding band was curved with diamonds and black rubies alternating. The engagement ring was a decent size with black rubies surrounded by diamonds. Where did Gordon get the money to buy something like this? He’d told her he had savings but had he blown it all on her? The rings were amazing and suited her. Gordon knew what she liked.

She gazed back at the mirror. Gordon knew her. He loved her? She’d done the right thing? She went back over his proposal, groaning when she thought how he hadn’t actual said he loved her. Only that he’d fallen. Did that mean he’d fallen in love with her? She needed to stop thinking it over, or she’d go crazy. Taking a deep breath, she walked back out to go find her husband. Wow, that sounded weird.

When she came out, she couldn’t see David or Gordon. She wandered out toward the limo, and that’s where she saw Gordon at the back of the car with two big men she’d never seen before. She crept closer as unease filled her. Gordon looked so different, his posture was straighter, his eyes sharp, calculating, and he radiated power. Freezing just within listening distance, she calmed her racing heart as she listened.

“I want the paperwork filled ASAP. Dawn is priority. People will want to know where I’ve been and with who.” Gordon glared at the new men. “Stay hidden, but close. I don’t trust the celebrant or people finding out about my reappearance to society.” Gordon spoke in a demanding voice, very different from the one she was used to hearing.

A voice cleared, and one of the men Gordon was with nodded at Dawn, and she knew she’d been spotted. Gordon’s whole demeanor changed. He went back to
her
Gordon. His posture relaxed, his face softened, his lips curled up into his carefree grin and his eyes—they went from steel to happiness at the sight of her. Shaking her head, she told herself she was just stressing because she’d done so many impulsive things. Gordon held his hand out, and she came to him, taking hold of his hand.

“Dawn, I’d like you to meet more of my friends. The tall one to your left is Brad, and next him, is Nathan.”

The men were huge and bulky like they spent their days keeping in shape. They all wore suits, but not the same as what David had been wearing. “Hello. It’s nice to meet you.” Dawn had a feeling by the end of the trip she’d be sick of saying how nice it was.

They all nodded their acknowledgment. Brad did what Dawn thought was an attempt at a smile, but it was scary. “It’s nice to meet you, Mrs. Wilks.”

Who was Mrs. Wilks? Glancing behind her Dawn groaned. Ah, she was. She should have remembered since it hadn’t been that long ago David had reminded her.

“To celebrate Gordon’s birthday, and you getting married, we’ve all put in and have you in the presidential suite. David has given you the limo for the time you’re here in Vegas,” Brad said.

Gordon walked to the limo doors, and Brad followed, opening the door for them. Gordon helped her in and followed close behind her and the door shut.

“Your friends aren’t going to come with us?” She asked when the limo took off, and none of his friends got in.

“No, I’ll see them tomorrow night at my party. Besides…” He pulled her to him, so she was straddling him. “We just got married. I don’t want to be with my friends. I have other things I’d much rather being doing in our now presidential suite.” Gordon captured her lips with his as his hands slid under her dress, and his fingers glided over her stomach and came down to hook into her underwear.

Yanking her lips from his, she tried to ease from his grasp. “We can’t do that in here.”

“Sure we can,” he mumbled against her neck before he sucked. She gasped as her resistance fled. Gordon knew sucking on her neck was her weakness. It set her body alight. Dawn let herself go, arching into his touch and craving more. Gordon lifted her leg over, so she sat on the side, lifting her up and easing her undies down and off. Her fingers went to work on his zipper and button as he eased up. She reached over and found her prize, wrapping her hand around his length.

Dawn had never thought to do it in a limo would be a turn on, but right now, she was so wet and hot. She straddled him again, and his hands trailed up her legs and cupped her bare arse.

“I’ve never seen anything more alluring than you right now. I’m so god damn lucky,” he whispered before his mouth took hers.

Their tongues met as she pumped his cock, his pre-come leaking helping to coat his dick. His fingers came around and played with her pussy, spreading her lips and circling her clit. Needing more, she lifted her skirt and hovered higher over him until she felt the tip of his cock slide across her entrance. Moving her mouth from his, panting for breath, she gazed into his deep blue eyes, took a deep breath, needing to tell him how she felt. “I love you.”

His hands came up—one holding her waist, the other cupped her face. “I love you, too.”

Sighing in relief that he had said it, she sank down on his cock. His hand came down and helped her keep a steady pace. She fucked him, taking her pleasure, and demanding more. Gripping his shoulders, she drove down as he pushed up sinking deeper each time. He growled with each retreat, and his thrusts became harder and with more force each time until he was almost crazed with his motion. Having never done anything so daring in a place where they could be caught, her senses felt heightened, and she was already so close to coming. Leaning down against him, she borrowed his strength as she sped up, eager to come.

On a groan, their mouths met, their tongues tangled, and she ground down so his cock was so deep, she felt as if it touched her womb. Sucking on his tongue, her hands gripped him tight as she came up again. She sank back down, moaning as she let herself fall, her whole body tensing and then exploding into heaven. Biting his lip, he grunted, and she felt him push up and tense. “Dawn,” he moaned. “Love you, sprite.”
