Guarding Hearts (Living Again #3) (38 page)

“Sammi,” he growled. “I can’t see you? This is torture.”

“Just feel,” she said, stepping closer so her breasts were directly in front of him. It took him milliseconds to turn his face into her cleavage. His hands traveled downward, touching the outline of her lace panties, then following the garters to the sheer stockings.

“Tell me what you visualize,” she commanded.

“That you are wearing a sexy as hell corset, tied down the front of your hot body. Your breasts are pushed up and spilling out the top. These lace panties don’t hide your sweet spot, and they aren’t covering that fine ass. The stockings are showcasing those killer legs. And you probably have some hot heels on that are making those legs look even longer and more killer than they already are. And you’re killing me.”

“You’re pretty good,” she said huskily, stepping back away from him. “Get up and take your clothes off. You can see me at the end.”

He pouted. “The end?”

She helped him remove his clothes, then pushed him back gently on the bed. She climbed over him, rocking herself into him. His fingers immediately found her, and he moaned as he felt how ready she was for him.

“You’re so naughty, Ms. Kerrigan,” he said, “I need to punish you.”

“But you can’t, because you’re blindfolded,” she teased, moving so she could run her fingers from his chiseled chest down to his aroused manhood. She took him in her hand, caressing him slowly. He bucked on the bed, reaching for her again.

“I want you,” he said. “Can I please take this off now?”

“Not yet,” she breathed, leaning over and sucking his ear lobe, her hand still working below. She kissed her way across his face until she reached his mouth. Leaning over him, she kissed him passionately, unable to stop herself from biting and sucking his lips and tongue. His end of the day scruff rubbed her lips as she kissed him hungrily, but she welcomed the slight pain. She broke free, kissing a path down his chin, his neck, then his chest and torso. His hands found her bare backside and he began kneading it.

She had every intention in following through with making him do the entire thing blindfolded, but she didn’t think she had the patience. Straddling him, she pulled off the blindfold. As soon as she did, he pounced, dragging her off of him and making her stand up.

“My god,” he muttered, his eyes raking her up and down. He turned her around, then leaned over and ran his tongue from her bottom to the edge of her panties, then around to the swell of her breasts. “This is even better than I fantasized. Look at this killer body. I have to have you right now, Sammi. And this outfit is staying on.”

She closed her eyes as he took control, his fingers finding her again. She tried not to moan too much as to not disturb Mason, but when he moved her underwear to the side and put his mouth where her flesh was aching, she couldn’t help it. Her senses were heightened and she was so ready for him.

“Ellis,” she groaned, fisting her hands in his hair. “Ohhhh.” He sucked and licked her, his fingers working at the same time. The hottest part of it all was that she still had the entire outfit on. He moved up, coaxing her breasts out of the top of the corset and taking his time to enjoy them.

He rolled over and pulled her with him, placing her on top of him. “Get on me,” he said, his voice thick with desire. She took him in her hand and guided him. He moved her underwear to the side as she sunk down onto him.

“Damnnnnn,” he hissed, closing his eyes against the sensation. “Sammi, you’re so hot. You are so ready for me, baby.” He began rocking her hips back and forth. She braced her hands on his chest as she picked up the pace, watching his reaction. He was looking at her, his eyes dark with the desire racing through both of them. He removed one hand from her hip and wrapped his fingers in hers. She leaned over and held onto the headboard of the bed, pushing down harder as they increased their speed.

Entirely too soon, she felt herself beginning to shudder, and he felt it, too. She took her hands off the headboard and laid on top of him, skin to skin, as they cried out together.

“That was…”

“Incredible,” he finished the statement for her. Sweat dotted both of their skin, and they were breathing like they had just run a marathon. “That was so hot, Sammi. I like those kinds of gifts. You can give me that any time.” He ran his hands along the corset and down her hips. “You’re still dressed, too.”

She laughed. “Yeah, some caveman wouldn’t let me take it off and he had to take me just like I was.”

“Some mean vixen blindfolded me and wouldn’t let me see her beautiful body,” he retorted. “Why don’t I help you out of it now?”

He leaned down to her feet and gently removed the stilettos, then slid the stockings down her legs. As he reached her panties, she could see the look in his eyes again. He wasn’t done, not by a long shot.

By the time he got the entire outfit off, he was petting her again, and before long, they were moving slowly together, gazes locked and bodies intertwined as they spent the time kissing and caressing.

“I love you, Samantha Kerrigan.”

Sam put her hands on either side of his face as he moved in her. “I love you, Ellis Warner.”

Sammi walked out onto the balcony of their room, looking out at the beach below. It was early, but she couldn’t sleep. She still couldn’t believe that this was their house now. She could come here whenever her schedule permitted and look out at this beach.

She hoped someday she and Ellis would have a family of their own right here at this beach. She could see a couple dark haired, green-eyed children making sand castles and burying their dad. She strummed her guitar, hoping she didn’t wake Ellis. It seemed everything in her life inspired songs these days, most of them love songs. She had been working on a new one, called Letting It Go, for Ellis, and it was one she wouldn’t record without his permission. Writing it and singing it was a way she could express more than what she could say in just words.

She flipped her notebook open to the lyrics she had started, and she began singing, stopping to make notes every few moments, then starting over. It was still very rough.

“What are you doing?”

She jumped at his voice. “Writing a song.”

He put a cup of coffee in front of her and wrapped his arms around her from behind. Resting his head on her shoulder, he read what she had written.

“That’s beautiful,” he said, kissing her neck. “But then again, you’re the most talented songwriter I’ve ever known.”

“And how many have you known?” Sammi joked. He sat down next to her, and she began again, singing the lyrics she had started and adding more.

“Before we leave, I have one more thing I want to do,” Ellis said, twirling her through the kitchen.

“Ellis Warner,” she teased. “What now? The party last night, and our private party afterwards, wasn’t enough?”

“Never,” Ellis responded, dipping her backwards and kissing her throat. “I’m going to pick up my car from Devin’s.”

“Ooh, your hot car I’ve never seen?”

He grinned. “Yep. I’m going to have it sent to Nashville, but it doesn’t have to be there until tomorrow morning before we leave. I want you to go with me and pick it up, then we have a date.”

“With the security team?” Sometimes being a celebrity really put a damper on her social life.

“Well, you know they have to be there, but they won’t be seen,” he wiggled his eyebrows. “And neither will we. You ready to go now?”

“Goodness, Ellis, you could’ve given me some warning! What about Mason?”

“Mason is spending time with Jillian. I talked to her parents. They have eagle eyes on them.”

Sam furrowed her brow. “Are you sure?”

“Yes, mom. He’s okay.” Ellis winked at her. “Now come on.”

After convincing her she was beautiful just as she was and pushing her out of the house, they had arrived at Devin’s house to pick up the car. Any time she spent time in Sunset Beach it was news worthy for the small town, but they also were mostly respectful of her privacy. It was genuinely like a vacation for her.

“This is her,” Ellis said, running his hand along the smooth hood. He had missed his car while he had been gone.

Sam laughed. “Her? Oh my. This is going to be a problem.”

Ellis stepped closer to her until he had her backed against the passenger door. “Oh, no it’s not. I’m going to get my two girls
very
acquainted with each other.”

Sam looked at him wide-eyed, not saying anything. “Cat got your tongue, my love?” She shook her head, looking around to see if anyone was around.

“Let’s go,” Ellis said, reaching around her to open the door on her side. “I have plans for you.” He watched as she folded herself into the car, tucking her long, bare legs in the small space. He wanted to groan as he watched her. She really had no idea how sexy she was in just the little things she did.

He walked around to his side of the car and jumped in, revving the engine as he started it up. Sammi was in his car. The mere thought of it turned him on. He pulled out of the driveway and headed to their destination, excited for what he had planned.

After going over a bridge onto a small island, Ellis pulled into the gates of the huge estate. Sammi’s wide eyes looked over at him. “What’s this?”

“My buddy Andrew’s friend’s place. His friend owed him, and he’s out of town, so we’re using his private beach. It will ensure we have complete privacy. The security team will stay on this side of the house, and I have a radio if I need anything.”

He watched as Sammi’s eyes scanned the house and the lush grounds that surrounded it. Andrew’s friend was some sort of multi-millionaire computer whiz. He pulled the car around the back of the house, and he heard Sammi gasp. The beach was gorgeous, the waves lapping the shore and the breeze blowing the enormous palm trees that lined the back of the house.

“Wow,” she breathed. “I’d like to have a house like this someday.”

Ellis turned to her, running his fingertips along her beautiful profile. She turned to him, and her smile made his breath catch. “You can have whatever you want, Sammi. You’re only at the beginning of what’s sure to be an amazing career. Have I told you today how amazingly beautiful you are?”

She blushed, ducking her head into his hand. “Ellis. You spoil me.”

He lifted her chin so he could lose himself in the dark eyes he loved so much. “And I will, for the rest of my life. Get out, I have a surprise for you.”

They walked out to the beach, where Ellis had an elaborate picnic set up for them.

“Want to eat?”

Sam turned to him, stepping up and pressing her lips to his. “What I want is you,” she breathed against his lips. “You’re the best kind of fairy tale a girl could ever ask for.”

Ellis closed the gap between their bodies, immediately aroused as she fit her body into his. He dipped his face to hers and kissed her with all of the emotion he felt. Their tongues danced together in passion, and before long they were both gasping for breath.

“Come here,” he said gruffly, taking her hand and leading her closer to the car. He had left the windows down and he reached in to click on music. “I have something for you. It’s a playlist I made for you.”
