Nate pushed her hands away when she started to unbutton her blouse. “That’s for me to do,” he said, pulling both hands up and kissing her palms.

“But I can…”

“Let’s make a deal, let me play, and I’ll let you play.” Sarah was such a strong tall woman, sometimes she made him think of an Amazon. But compared to his six foot six frame she was tiny. He took both of her wrists in one hand and pulled his shirt over his head and placed her hands on his chest. She kneaded his flesh, grazing through his chest hair, murmuring sounds of approval, she traced the tattoo on his shoulder.

“I’ve always wanted to touch this, to trace it. To lick it.”

While she was occupied he unbuttoned her shirt and discovered her pink satin bra had a front clasp. He stretched out beside her, unhooking the catch, and delighted as her full breasts spilled out of the cups.

“God, you’re gorgeous.” He took a tip in his mouth when she gave a shove against his head.

“Nate, lie on top of me, I want to feel you.”

“I want to taste you.”

“Please, I need this, for just a moment. I need to feel the heat of you, covering me, surrounding me, protecting me.”

He shifted his torso on top of her, loving the feel of her curves pressed against him. He never felt anything better. Sarah clutched his shoulders, and digging her fingernails into him.

“Give me everything, all of your weight. I want you. All of you.” He was always so conscious not do it. He looked in her eyes, and slowly lowered himself until he rested his weight on top of her. She was smiling as she gave a long exhale. “Perfect.” Nate didn’t know how, but she was able to make small undulations under him, rubbing the tips of her breasts against his chest, abrading the nipples against his chest hair.

Back and forth, up and down, the nubs spiked against his chest until she started to moan. “Now Nate, take me into your mouth now.” God, she was going to burn him up.

He slid downwards, making sure to continue to scrape against her, garnering more whimpers and then the full breasts were even with his mouth. He cupped them with his big hands, pressing them together so he could easily lave both nipples. Knowing his lover better, he sucked hard and used the edge of his teeth and she heaved upwards. He pressed down with his body.

“It’s my turn to play. I did what you asked, now it’s my turn.” He grinned at her and she was in the kind of trouble she was going to love.

He did what she liked, what she wanted, what she needed and before this instant she had never known what those things were. She never felt so delicate, so feminine and wasn’t it the most heady experience? How could hazel eyes look so molten? He watched as his mouth explored her flesh, as ifmemorizing her every expression. She couldn’t stand it. Sarah closed her eyes.

He stopped. “Eyes on me.” She squeezed her legs together, as she became even more aroused and looked at him through her lashes.

“There you are.” He brushed his whisker rough chin against her nipples and she let out a thin cry for more.

“I think we need to see what else needs more. I’ve noticed you squirming.” She stopped and opened her eyes wide. The idea of the beard scraping other, more sensitive areas made everything go completely still. His hazel eyes glittered, suddenly a silver laser beam that could see right into her deepest desires.

“That’s a good girl, stay still. It’ll make what’s coming next feel even better.” How could anything feel any better than having Nate Goodman on top of her? His warm hands left her breasts, and stroked down her sides keeping the same pace as his lips trailed warm kisses down her sternum lower to her tummy. He easily spanned her waist pulling her upwards and she groaned as she felt his hot breath over her stomach. Then a soft bite quickly followed by a soothing kiss. He repeated the process over and over again.

“Please Nate, quit teasing me.”

“Ah Angel, I think I’m teasing me.” He tugged at the button and zipper on her walking shorts. “Just how much pink am I going to find?” God, this man could make her blush.

He pushed down the shorts and chuckled. “Just hurry up, I’m dying here.”

“I refuse to rush a thing. I want to find out if these are pink thong panties.” In a blink of an eye, she was all but naked and lying on her tummy.

“Nate.”

“Shhh.”

“But Nate.”

“Just a little longer. This is one of my all-time fantasies.” Then he kissed the globes of her ass, and she melted into the pillow floating as Nate pulled the satin from her body. He got up to get out of the rest of his clothes and then came back and rolled her over.
At last.

“Not quite Angel.”

She’d been saying her inside thoughts out loud again. He moved her body around so easily she felt like a doll. Her legs draped over his arms and his eyes looked molten. “This is my favorite shade of pink, I especially like how it glistens.”

His thumbs slid easily along the seam of her sex as he parted her for his perusal then his mouth was there, licking, nipping, sucking. It was as if he knew every thought in her head and how every sensation would be received in her body. She had never flown so high, but the bastard kept her from going over.

“Now Nate,” she demanded.

“Just a little more Sarah, let it build.” Another gentle bite.

“It’s too much,” she whimpered.

“You’re young, you’re strong.” His fingers thrust and turned.

“Now, please,” she begged.

“Waiting is good for the soul.” His tongue fluttered against her clit.

“I can’t help it. I’m coming,” she wailed.

“Show me Angel, let me see you fly.” She shot to the stars.

Long minutes later she roused and found herself in the best place in the world, Nate Goodman’s arms. God, even his muscles had muscles, how could you not feel safe? But it just wasn’t his spectacular body, it was the man himself. She could depend on him. She kissed the side of his neck.

“Are you looking for trouble?”

“God yes.”

“I think I might be able to provide you some.” His ever changing hazel eyes twinkled. She trailed kisses along his jaw until she met his lips. Sarah loved it when she felt Nate’s hand cupped the back of her skull and maneuvered her so their mouths met at the perfect angle. As their tongues tangled, she had just enough higher thought to reach for what she wanted. He groaned as she tried to wrap her hand around his cock. His fingers tightened in her hair and she smiled into the kiss as she broke away. She licked at the indentation on his chin and started to wiggle downwards.

“None of that Angel, I need to be inside you.”

“You will be,” she purred.

Nate barked out a laugh, and flipped her onto her back like she weighed nothing. He turned around and then turned back. Looking downwards she saw him sheathed and ready. His cock was a thing of beauty.

“How in the hell did you do that so fast?” She laughed.

“I’m in the Navy ma’am, when we’re on a mission we move fast. But when an operation requires patience and attention to detail, we can do that too.” his voice rumbled as he said the last part. She saw him hesitate, but she wasn’t having any of that, she hooked her legs around him, digging his heels into his ass.

“You should also know not to keep a lady waiting.” He moved forward, entering her just a little, the stretch so much more than she was expecting, and she wanted more. She pressed harder with her heels and after a painful grimace he finally gave her exactly what she wanted. Never had she felt so full. She took in a deep breath.

“Are you okay, Angel?” His gaze didn’t miss a thing and she needed a moment.

“I’m fine.” He waited for her to adjust, kissing the side of her neck. Slowly her body relaxed around the girth, melting, needing more.

“Be on top of me again Nate.” Thank God she didn’t need to explain it. She felt him carefully rest himself chest to breast, once again surrounding her as he started a gentle rhythm. His hands cupped the back of her head, and they stared into one another’s eyes. He read the exact moment she needed a different angle, a different thrust, and smiled at her gasp. There were no words, as he continued to see into her soul, giving her what she desired before it was a thought. He licked the tear that tricked down her temple as she trembled and moaned in pleasure. Finally there was rapture, and it would be forever remembered with the blue, green and silver of Nate’s eyes.

Chapter Six

“Sarah, you put lives at risk leaving California and not telling people where you were going. Do you get that?”

“It’s my life to do what I choose.”

“You’re not understanding me.” Nate stayed calm. He had to have this type of conversation with young recruits before. They really didn’t comprehend the meaning of team when they first signed up. Sarah never signed up for the military, so this was understandable. Calm needed to be his watchword.

“Don’t talk to me like I’m one of your damn soldiers.”

“Sailor, they’re called sailors.”

“Whatever. Look, it was my decision to make, I was only putting myself at risk.” She was pissed.
Calm Goodman.

“That’s where you’re wrong. If I couldn’t find you, we were prepared to send more people. That’s more people like Brice and Kota in harm’s way. Is that what you want? Anytime one member of the team takes a risk, the whole team takes a risk. Like it or not, you’re now part of the team.”

“No I’m not part of the team. I’m damn near a prisoner.” He looked at her carefully. They were sitting on the porch of the cabin, and frustration was coming off her in waves.

“Is that really what you think?” This had obviously been building for a while.

“It’s not what I think, but it’s what I feel. I haven’t seen my Mom and Dad in almost a year except on Skype. I haven’t practiced medicine. My entire life is on hold, and I’m not doing anything of any use.” He heard the longing in her voice and he had to find a way to convince her it wasn’t true.

“You’ve been doing a hell of a lot of the investigative work into Rixitron. Hell, you’ve narrowed it down to a handful of people, and that’s something Sierra hasn’t been able to do.”

“She would have eventually. I just had a better handle on the different scientists’ field of study. What’s more, she’s been out in the field on assignments. I’ve been sitting on my ass in the apartments. It’s like comparing apples to oranges.” God, she sounded so dejected.

“Maybe so, but I doubt she would have found what you did, even if she spent as much time as you have. You tied them back to some of the executives, that wasn’t just understanding the medicine it was plain old investigative work. Your brother was really impressed. He said you could be a detective on one of his task forces anytime.” He watched as she gave a small smile.

“It was kind of fun. But I still want to be a doctor. It’s what I’ve always wanted to be.” She scooted next to him to rest her head on his shoulder.

“So this wasn’t some way of acting out?” She jerked away from him.

“Of course not. Look, I admit I was getting close to my breaking point, and that had me not thinking this through as well as I should have. But it wasn’t about me trying to get attention. This was all about Amy. She had no one. Nobody would have believed her. Even her own parents were going to side with Chris.”

“Why didn’t you at least talk to your brother Cyrus? I get why you couldn’t talk to Kyle.”

“Because Cyrus would have insisted I stay in California, and Amy didn’t have anyone to trust but me.” She gave him a long look. “I get what you’re saying, I really do. But I hope you understand my point of view.”

He eased her head back onto his shoulder. “I do angel, now you explained I do.” He expelled a long breath. “So how much longer do you think they’ll be? Is there anything we can cook up for them?” He saw her surprise.

“I want us to do some normal things together. I want this to be our first date.”

“You mean sexytime wasn’t a date?”

He tilted her chin so he was looking her dead in the eye. “Making love to you was a gift.”

“For me too.” He kissed the tip of her nose.

“Can I ask you something personal?” He rubbed the back of his neck, hating the vulnerable feeling, but knowing he had to get this out into the open. She looked at him in surprise.

“Isn’t it a little late? I’m not sure we could have gotten any more personal than we were an hour ago.” She put her hand on his thigh. “What is it?” Her eyes darkened with concern. “Seriously, you can ask me anything.”

“What’s the deal with you and Sands? I know you’ve been Skyping with him on the sly for the last eight months. Are you and he?” He felt like a schmuck, he couldn’t even finish the question. He had to man up. “I also saw the kiss at the airport.” She blushed.”

“You saw that huh? I think he likes me.”

“Ya think?”

“Ramone and I go way back. He’s kind of my eyes and ears here in Atlanta. I know Mom and Dad won’t tell me if anything is really going on with them. They won’t want to worry me. With Ramone’s contacts at the church, he knows what’s going on in the community. Hell he even keeps me informed on my brother’s love lives.” She giggled. “Brayson is into one of the EMT’s and she’s into him, but neither of them have made a move.”

“So he’s your like TMZ?”

“Pretty much. He and I both went to elementary school with Amy, so she asked him if he could get ahold of me. She figured he might know where I was. She’s got a sixth sense for those kind of things.”

“Too bad she didn’t have one about her husband,” Nate said grimly.

“I could murder that asshole,” Sarah agreed. “So are we good about Ramone?”

“Not quite, you still kissed him.”

“Correction, he kissed me. What the hell Nate, you never bothered to kiss me before today.” His angel was pissed. Yep Noah was right, he had been fucking up.

“Well, I plan to remedy that often.” He kissed her and his toes curled. He finally came up for air and then his stomach growled. They laughed.

“I’d love to take you back to bed, but first I want to see if you learned anything from your mama.” He loved her surprised laugh. They went into the cabin and she showed him the pitiful amount of food available.
