Goddamn it, Hunter. Get your shit together. Five more minutes and you’re drowning yourself in that bottle of JD sitting by your bed. Forget about pussy for once in your life.

I would either pass out or drink my dick useless. That was the only way I’d be able to get her out of my mind. Between the way I was aching, and just knowing myself, it was going to have to be the first. With my Irish blood and the way Kelly moved her tight little package around, no amount of whiskey was going to stop what I wanted to happen.

Please, God, let this finish soon. Why do you create girls that I can’t resist? It’s not fair.

I lit another cigarette off the cherry of the one that was still burning and thought about holding it on my arm. Pain always helped me focus.

“Goodbye, Sheriff. Let me know if you need anything else,” Kelly said, as she parted ways with the law man.

I watched her intoxicating body from where I stood.

Don’t you fucking come over here, damn it. Go home, go home right fucking now.

She started walking back toward me, her eyes flicking between the ground and mine and softly biting her lip through a smile.

Walk on by, sweetheart. Walk on by and go home, so help me God.

The sheriff drove off glaring at me, and I shot him a wave that tried to seem more like a middle finger to the cocksucker. I wanted to knock his fucking aviators off his face and see his eyes when I brought a fist down on his sunburnt nose. Call me crazy, but after you’ve had as much trouble as I have with cops in your life, you have a hard time ever trusting them again.

Kelly just kept getting closer. She was looking better with every sway of her hips and I could feel my cock getting hard. All I could think about was what was between her beautiful legs, waiting for me.

You’ve got about ten steps to save yourself, sweetheart. Then there’s no going back.

“Well,” Kelly started, slowly bringing her gaze up from the ground, “you look like you could use that beer you mentioned earlier. It’s nothing fancy, but I’ve got some cold ones in my fridge. If you’re interested, that is?”

Go home, Hunter. Bullshit her. Be the good guy you’ve got everyone thinking you are. For once in your life, show a little mercy.

I opened my mouth to answer, but my head wasn’t running the show anymore.

“Yeah, you know what, a beer would probably do me some good right now,” I said. I could feel my cock harden even more, almost thanking me for not letting her walk by. My heart started to pound like I was a predator, preparing for a kill. I couldn’t hold back much longer. I wanted her right then and I was going to have her.

“Be good to unwind a bit,” I said.

Yeah, who the fuck are you kidding, pal? You’re not a good guy. Never have been, never will be. Enough fighting for one morning. Show this sweet girl who you are.

I blew out the last breath of smoke from my cigarette and flicked it away. As I stared down at Kelly I could feel the heat coming from between her legs. I could practically taste how wet she was at the sight of me towering over her delicate body. Her eyes widened with the thought of what was about to happen.

You have no fucking idea. You have no fucking idea who you’re about to take home, sweetheart.

Chapter 7

Kelly

I
COULDN’T BELIEVE WHAT I
had just done. I’d just witnessed Hunter beat two men nearly to death and now I had invited him into my home.

What the hell was I thinking?

The tattooed man standing there, smoking a cigarette like he hadn’t just torn apart one of the only places that I felt safe in, was now about to be in the same place I slept. I suddenly felt sick. How did I get so swept away in the moment? Why was I acting like a schoolgirl around him? Sure he had saved me, but who can just do something like that?

“All right, honey. I’m coming,” he said as he stomped out his cigarette.

When he stood up, his body was just inches from my face. He towered over me and blocked out the midday sun that had been shining down. I could see him, all of him. I could feel my eyes go wide, trying to take in every inch of the man in front of me, and I felt dizzy again. I had the urge to run my hands across his hard chest and over his shoulders and arms, to press my body against his. My head was spinning. Maybe I had made a mistake. I immediately wanted to run away and take back everything from that morning, but, at the same time, couldn’t stop the need I felt to have his massive arms wrapped around me. I wasn’t afraid, but I didn’t feel safe. I wanted to go, but couldn’t help just standing there in his shadow, waiting.

Waiting for him to do something, anything.

As he stared down at me with his piercing blue eyes, I could feel my whole body tingle like there was hot water cascading over it. I was suddenly very aware of my breathing and tried to slow it down.

As if he could sense everything that was happening to me, a slight smile broke out over his face. He pocketed his one hand and ran the other across the rough hair on his cheeks. He kept smiling. He looked at me like he did when we first met, but this time with something else behind his eyes. It was almost as if he knew something I didn’t. I felt like I was shaking.

“Lead the way, sweetheart. I’m sure you can use that beer as much as me. Maybe even more,” he said with a chuckle.

The sound of his voice echoed through my bones and I barely noticed that we had started walking away from the diner and toward my house. I needed to break the silence and searched for something to say.

“It’s just around the corner here. It’s not much, and I really haven’t kept it up lately. Work and all. You know how it can get. Life just gets so busy sometimes, right?” I was rambling. I rambled when I was nervous. What happened to the calm I felt a few minutes ago? I was lost inside myself and was starting to show it.

“Don’t worry,” Hunter said, taking my arm in his huge, rough hand. He stopped us both dead in our tracks. “I guarantee I’ve seen worse, all right?”

I stared up at the man gripping me. I didn’t doubt he had. All I knew was that I had never seen anything like him before. He let go of my arm and I felt calm again. We kept walking, but in silence now. It somehow felt more comfortable, like he had silently drawn me into whatever had broke that smile on his face. I had never been more certain and confused in my entire life. My head was racing as fast as my heart. This was a mistake, but one I
needed
to make. I couldn’t get out of it, but I had to regain some control over myself before I was pulled into him any further.

“Well, here we are,” I announced. “I think I’ve only got time for one though, and I’m not much of a drinker anyhow. It just felt like the day for it if there ever was one, you know?”

More rambling. It was true, I wasn’t much of a drinker, but I had all the time in the world. I just needed to create some sort of time limit, a reason to break free from him. Hunter just looked back at me with that same sly smile, as he climbed the stairs of my porch. It was as if he could see the future, see what was about to happen, while I was still in the dark.

“I won’t take too much of your time, darling,” he said as he reached the door.

He was so certain of himself. He was a man who took the lead. It was my house and he was the one standing at the door. I looked up at him. His shoulders filled the entire frame and his stare shot right through me. He looked down on me and smiled like he was taunting me.

“You coming in or am I going it alone here?”

I couldn’t say anything, and I couldn’t turn away. I didn’t want to turn away. He just stood there, waiting, and staring into me like he could read me like a book. And it was true. It was as if he could read me. There was something going on inside me that only he could see. I could feel it coursing through my veins. I needed to find out what it was.

What was it that he knew about me that I didn’t even know about myself?

I walked up the stairs, past him, and through my doorway, feeling his eyes on me the whole time. The smell of his sweat, cigarettes, and body followed me in. It was like the diner all over again. I knew he was there, I could feel his presence and pull, but I couldn’t bring myself to turn around and face him. Something had come into my life and I had brought it into my home. He placed his hand on the small of my back and I felt myself arch as his touch sent a wave of sensation through me. I watched as he strode past me, into the kitchen, as if it was his house and not mine. As his hand slid off me, I was pulled in after him, almost in a haze. I stopped just inside the room and drank in the pure sight of the man that was looking out the window. He was right there, standing over the table where I ate my breakfast. For a moment, I forgot where I was and how I’d gotten there. I just felt drawn into the electricity that seemed to pulse with every rise and fall of his shoulders as he breathed in the room.

With his broad back to me, he crossed his arms. The movement stretched the white tank top across his muscular back to the point I thought it was going to rip. Slowly turning around, he made sure I saw every muscle in his tattooed chest and arms. He leaned against the table and relaxed his stance. His eyes casually looked around the room as if he was judging its ability to hold him in. When his gaze found its way back to me, I was frozen.

This was it. He had me and he knew it. I was finally caught in whatever it was he was going to do to me. I wasn’t afraid, I didn’t want to run. But I was no longer in control, and he knew it as much as I did. My vision started to go blurry. My breath sped up. He made the whole world go still and quiet. He just looked me dead in the eye and spoke with complete calm and power. He was no longer smiling.

“Yeah, darling. I’ve seen much worse.”

Chapter 8

Hunter

T
HERE SHE WAS, STANDING JUST
inside the doorway of the kitchen waiting for me to take her. I took in the moment for all it was worth. The peace and quiet. Everything was still and would explode into chaos as soon as I wanted it to. I listened to the sound of birds chirping outside, felt the summer heat just hanging there, and looked at the delicious girl before me with the green eyes that were stealing my heart with every passing second.

I could almost smell her scent. She was getting wetter for me by the second, waiting for me to walk over, pick her up, and devour her. She looked innocent, like she didn’t know what was about to happen to her, but mark my words, she was absolutely begging for it. My cock was aching for her, starving for its prey. The thought of grabbing her and sliding into her pussy, it was killing me. Wrapping her hair around my hand, spreading her thighs, and giving her all of me at once, just to see the look of surprise and exhilaration on her face, it was making my heart pound.

Slowly at first, so she could feel every inch of me, and then harder so I could hear her gasp as I went deep inside her, I would dominate her body. I stared at her and made her wait for it. I could feel her trembling from across the room and it made me even harder. It was time to get what we both had been thinking about since the moment we’d set eyes on each other. There was no escape now, not for either of us, and we both knew it.

I took a step toward her. In fear, she moved from her spot in the doorway toward the fridge.

“Well, let me get you that beer while I clean this place up a bit. I don’t know how I always manage to let these dishes pile so high.”

You can run, sweetie, but you can’t hide.

She handed me the beer and tried her best not to look at me. I grabbed the bottle by the neck and twisted the cap off, taking a slow pull as she moved across the room.

You’re nervous, darling, and you absolutely should be. You’re a frightened rabbit, and there’s a wolf in your house.

I didn’t say shit. She wasn’t getting a warning. I watched her turn on the water and shift her weight from leg to beautiful leg as she waited for the sink to fill.

I took one more hit from the beer and put it down on the table next to me, careful not to let it make a sound.

I made my way over to her slowly, quietly, like the predator I was.

“How’s that beer going down? I don’t know how long they’ve been in there. Like I said, I’m not much of a drinker.”

I cut her off in mid sentence, standing right behind her and pushing my body against hers. It was the most exquisite moment of all. The moment she realized she was caught. She was mine. My prey.

She could feel my breath on the top of her head, my rock hard cock pressing against the small of her back. I didn’t say anything, I just let her feel me there. She was breathing deep and I could see her chest moving up and down like her tits were about to pop out of her top. She was scared, or ready to fuck, or both. Most likely both, but I didn’t give a shit. I knew she was what I wanted and at that moment she knew I was going to have her. There was no other way this was going to play out. She was going to get me, and she wanted it as much as I did. It was a fact as real and true as any other in the universe. It could be no other way.

She gripped the edge of the counter with both her hands, slowly pushing herself against me. Maybe she was trying to back me up, but we both knew that was useless. All it did was push my cock harder against her back. She let out a soft breath.

That’s right, darling. Feel what I’m about to give you. Feel it dig into you before you get it. Are you ready? Are you wet for me, baby?

“Hunter,” she started in mild protest, but I cut that short by grabbing her hair with my hand, pulling her head back, and crushing my lips into hers from behind. She didn’t fight, but she didn’t respond. I could practically hear her trying to figure out what was happening to her, and how she was going to get away, but it was no use. I wrapped my other arm around her waist and pulled her tight into me. She sighed deeply and slowly opened her mouth to mine, falling into me with her lips. I could feel her trying to turn her body around, but I held her where she was and thrust myself against her, rubbing my hard cock against her delicious ass and up along her back. She was so soft, so small, so defenseless. I needed to be inside her. I kissed her harder and she pushed her lips back on mine, sliding her tongue into my mouth and breathing deeper. I kept one hand twisting her hair, and slid my other down her stomach and over her skirt. I could feel the heat coming off her pussy, and when I put my hand on her, I felt her whole body convulse. She took a short, sharp breath in. I wanted to rip her panties off and take her from behind right there and then, feel myself plunge deep inside her and watch her ass shake as I slammed into her. But I didn’t. I was going to take my time with this one. This was a memory I wanted to store, to last the rest of my life. This was going to be perfect.
