G.K.'s hands became greedy, moving over her body, the sight of her giving into him almost more than he could stand. His eyes roamed over her body hungrily, moving from her full kiss swollen lips, to her aroused breasts, and down her firm thighs. His fingers lay resting on her stomach, sensitive to the flutters beneath them.

"Lower," she whispered as her thighs parted for him.

G.K.'s hand delved lower, through soft and damp curls until it reached molten liquid heat. God, she was so incredible. So soft. She undulated against him as he toyed, dipped into her folds, excited by her cries. He had no idea how much more he could take, but he also didn't want to be selfish.

His mouth sought her breast, suckling while his hand continued exploring her in slow rhythmic motions. He felt her grip his shoulders as she whispered his name over and over again. He was so hard, painfully so, but it felt amazing to hold back too.

That was true, until her wicked fingers made their way to the fly of his pants and began squeezing him though the material.

So much for self-restraint.

It took no time to shed his own clothes. In fact, he was sure he'd destroyed a perfectly good tank top, but it was so worth it.

He noticed her hungry eyes drifting downward, then giving him a very satisfied smile.

If she remembered the myths correctly, G.K. was definitely an exception.

Once he returned to the bed Leila wrapped her hand around his length. G.K. groaned in pleasure.

G.K.’s eyes slid to half mast, a deep groan echoing in the quiet room. He throbbed wildly beneath her hand. He took her mouth again in a deep searching kiss, then rose above her.

"I want you Leila." G.K. could barely get the words out. "You're driving me crazy."

She kissed him back. "You drove me crazy a long time ago. I want you too, G.K. I can't wait."

Leila's sweet desperation caused him to practically knock over the lamp by the bedside as he fumbled in the drawer and pulled out several condoms.

He tore open the package, slipped it on and then placed himself between her legs. He waited. He teased. She begged. She whimpered softly as he slid into her heat. Her tightness stole his breath away.

His first few thrusts were a little awkward and unsure but it didn’t take long to find the rhythm that matched her own. Suddenly it was effortless, felt so perfect. Suddenly his inexperience did not matter. Having Leila in his arms, underneath him, her beautiful legs wrapped tightly around his waist, that was all that mattered. He leaned forward to taste her lips and the pleasure within.

She did something with her hips, something that made him groan, shaking with need. He was so close to coming. An intense pressure began building in his belly, as G.K.’s movements became increased in pace.

His orgasm taunted him, teasing him with the pleasure he could have if he just gave into the pleasure. He resisted, he'd make sure Leila came first.

"So good, Leila," he groaned as her body arched into him. "You feel so good."

He felt her fingers sink into his skin. He held her hips in an iron grip as if he were drowning. In a way it was. Drowning within Leila's silken depths.

"Please G.K.," she begged in a shuddering breath.

"Please what Leila," he asked, his hips moving faster and deeper. "What do you want?"

A soft grunt escaped her lips as he buried himself further into her, delivering a series of deep back bowed thrusts that made Leila’s toes curl. She grappling at his shoulders as he continued moving within her, and an intense pressure began building in her belly, as G.K.’s thrusts became faster. Leila’s back arched, and her body tensed, as her orgasm shot through her. G.K. continued moving, his lips searching out hers. He kissed her in time with his thrusts, until he growled her name, his body seizing in orgasmic jerks.

G.K. felt as if he'd lost his soul inside of her and was happy to do so. The sensation felt as if it would never end, and he did not want it to.

 ***

A little later, Leila awoke to a wondrous and relaxed feeling. Her limbs were pure rubber. The idea of moving did not appeal to her.

She rolled over and found G.K. looking at her with a small smile.

“Hey, how are you feeling?” he asked, as his hand moved to trace small circles on her arm.

Warmth spread through her body immediately and Leila was shocked by her body’s reaction to him. “I’m doing amazing.” She said with a grin.

G.K. hesitated before asking, ““Was it…Was it good? Did you like it?”

Leila looked into his anxious eyes with disbelief before she released a short laugh. “Are you kidding? It was amazing, fantastic, the best I’ve ever had.”

A wide, proud smile crossed his face, the wattage of it, practically illuminating the room. “Really?”

“Definitely,” she paused, “Where did you get the condoms from? Have you been waiting for me to throw myself at you or something?” she asked with a giggle.

G.K. shook his head, “No, I haven’t been plotting ways to take you, well not in the creepy way you’re thinking,” He added with a laugh, “The maids keep putting them in the bathroom, and Kai always moves them to the drawers. He thinks it’s awkward to just have them sitting out like that.”

Leila laughed again, “Does he realize that if he just leaves them where they are, they won’t keep giving you new ones?” G.K.’s arm sidled over her waist. “I keep trying to tell him, but he won’t listen to me.”

Then she felt G.K. pulling her against something that behaved insatiably.

"Are you kidding me," she murmured, attempting to push him away.

G.K. kissed her neck and chin, “You know how you said, when we made love, it was amazing?” “Mhm…” She moaned, her hand tunneling into his hair.

“Well, I’m one to always think, there’s room for improvement. Let’s shoot for earth shattering this time.”  Leila grinned, as he moved over her, “Well, they do say practice makes perfect,” she whispered as G.K. covered her lips with his.

Chapter Eleven

An exhausted Leila awoke lying next to G.K. on the floor, the sheets and comforter half hanging off the bed.

How the hell did I get down here?

She flushed in remembrance.  Whatever initial shyness G.K. had the first time they'd made love had given way to passionate experimentation. He'd wanted to try a position he had read about where the woman was nearly dangling off the side of the bed. Her body tingled deliciously, remembering the dual sensations of having G.K. deep inside of her and the slight light-headed floating feeling of being upside down. When they had both climaxed, they'd collapsed onto the floor in exhausted satiety.

Leila's eyes came to rest upon a still slumbering G.K. He looked so at peace, his impossibly long eyelashes resting on high cheekbones, full lips parted. Unable to resist, she leaned into him and placed a soft kiss on his mouth. G.K.'s arm tightened around her, as he responded with a firmer kiss.

"Good morning." His voice was heavy with sleep.

"Good morning to you. How do you feel?" She asked him, running a finger up and down his arm.

"I'll give you one guess..." he teased eyes as he moved his awakening sex against her.

Leila moaned when his arousal came into contact with her center. "G.K...We can't."

"Why not?" He asked, moving against her more firmly. He tried to look innocent and failed.

"I'm still a little sore. You worked me out last night."

G.K. chuckled. "Did I? Well, we’re only getting started, there are still things I would like to try. Like standing up, or in the tub and the shower, oh and I haven't even tried going do..."

Leila laughed as she pretended to bat him away. "You are such a horn dog, G.K."

He looked puzzled. "Is that bad? Some kind of naughty animal?"

She kissed him on the nose. "Yes, you are a naughty animal and I like it." Just as she was about to show him how much she liked it, G.K.'s phone rang.

He was slightly wobbly from having been on the floor. Leila watched as he picked his phone from the nightstand.

"
Yeobosayeo,
hello
?"
He grinned at her and whoever was on the other end. Probably the guys wanting to know how it went, she thought.

Suddenly that smile faded.

"What? When?" He asked, his voice tight with tension.

Leila listened to the one sided conversation, wondered what the problem was, hoping it wasn't serious.

"And you invited
him
?" He gritted out. "Have you told Kai? It doesn't matter, Jin Yung. You could have asked me if I wanted this!"

Leila grew more concerned as the conversation progressed and G.K grew more agitated. Who had the manager invited? Clearly it was someone that G.K. had no desire to see.

G.K. noticed her concern and effortlessly lapsed into Korean, a fact that Leila noticed.

"I have
not
been depressed, and it hasn't impacted my performance. No one has said anything." He paused then sighed. "Yes I want to see her, but couldn't she have come alone?" He finished in English.

Leila's heart raced nervously. What was wrong? Who was
she
? Was there gossip about them already?

He sighed again. "Fine, I'll see them, but I'm only doing this because you've asked me to." He ended the call and tossed the cell phone carelessly on the bed. He followed it, fingers raking angrily through his hair.

"What happened? What did Jin Yung want?" G.K. gave her a thin smile, released an agitated breath. He came back to sit with her on the floor, before pulling her until she sat in between his outstretched legs with her back against his chest.

"Someone wants to see me and he thinks it would be good if I cleared the air with them." He told her as he drew circles on her arm with his fingertips.

Leila turned to face him, "Who's coming to see you?"

G.K. hesitated before leaning in and giving her a soft kiss.

"My parents."

***

There was a satellite radio show scheduled for the group that afternoon. G.K. arrived at the studio on time but could barely focus as Jin Yung and the producer of the program discussed the questions that were going to be asked.

G.K. sat next to Kai and Young, a frown marring his features. What should have been the culmination of an amazing night making love to the woman of his dreams, had ended as a total nightmare. It was as if his father could smell his son's happiness and wanted to ruin it.

Granted Jin Yung had told him that his mother, Minsoo had called saying that she wanted to see him, and at the last minute his father had decided to join her.

He was confused. He hadn't spoken to either of them since his father had disowned him because of his decision to stick by his cousin and his band mates. Now out of the blue they both wanted to see their
wayward
son and were flying to New York.

What was so important that they couldn't wait until he came back to Seoul?

"What's the matter with you?" Kai elbowed G.K. in the arm, concern on his face.

"Nothing," he muttered. "Nothing at all."

His cousin obviously didn't believe him. "Is something going on with you and Leila?" He asked.

G.K. considered whether or not to tell Kai. He was family after all.

"I'll tell you after the show."

Kai shook his head stubbornly.

G.K. sighed. "Fine.
Umma
and
Appa
are coming to New York."

***

While T4L did their radio interview, Leila was busy in the studio. There would be two more New York shows before they finally headed on tour. Noel had decided to come and watch the dancers, since she had laughingly told her ardent fiancé that she needed a break from his attentions. The guys were to join them all later for more practice.

Knowing her way through the routines gave Leila time to worry about G.K. He'd mentioned that he hadn't spoken with his parents in a while. She vaguely remembered him mentioning that his father hadn’t gotten along with Noel as well as him having issues with T4L as their manager, but he hadn’t gone into much more detail than that. It had been their first date after all. However; from his reaction, he didn’t seem the least bit excited about the visit.

Michael clapped his hands loudly. "Okay y'all, I'm starving and you must be too. Be back in an hour!"

Noel sidled up to Leila. "Is he like that all the time?" Her thumb jerking in the choreographer's direction. "Who'd he study under, Sergeant Slaughter?"

Leila chuckled as she wiped the sweat from her face. "He is rather intense, but I’ve heard he's also one of the best."

Noel nodded in agreement. "You wanna have lunch together? I am craving a decent Reuben sandwich."

Leila gave her a smile, nodding. "Sure, just let me put my sweats on."

They ended up at a hole in the wall deli located near the studio. It looked rather plain on the outside but inside the place was packed. Luckily they found a booth and sat down.

"Don't let the outside fool you, this place has the best Reuben you'll ever taste, trust me," Noel told her from across the table. "Boom found it, so you know it’s gotta be good." They both laughed, knowing all about Kibum's love of good food.

After they placed their orders, Leila sat back.

"How come you're not at the radio station with Kai?"

"Outside of needing some breathing room?" Noel grinned then shrugged. "To be honest, I don't like seeing them do things like that. Their management company likes them to maintain a certain image for the fans and the press."

Leila was confused, so Noel explained. "Z-Tune assigns each member a “concept” that they are supposed to be, sort of like acting. For instance Kai is supposed to be the tough guy, but we both know he’s a pushover.” She said with a chuckle. “And G.K. is supposed to be the confident playboy leader."

Leila stifled a revealing laugh, considering last night. "What about the others?" Well Kwan is the serious fashionista, which is pretty accurate. He's the only person I know who can mismatch plaid and paisley and make it work."

Leila agreed having seen firsthand some of Kwan's more interesting fashion choices.

"I think Kibum is supposed some suave and charismatic ladies man. He is charismatic, but suave? Nah."

"And what's Young’s?"

"The shy, smiling,
maknae
, or youngest. And he is shy...sometimes."

Leila had seen this shyness, especially when asking about her sister, but she kept this to herself.              Still the whole role-playing thing surprised her. "And they're all supposed to act like that in public?"

Noel nodded her head, as the waitress gave them their sandwiches and fries. "I know. It’s so ridiculous. I'm getting my own supposed 'makeover' since I'm signed to their management company." Leila had heard about that from G.K. "At first they wanted the stereotyped 'ghetto girl’ but I totally refused. It wasn't that they were being racist, they just thought that image would sell well. Unfortunately, that's kind of the only image most people over there know about African Americans." Noel placed the extra kosher pickle slice on her sandwich. "Anyway, I talked with Jin Yung out of that nonsense, and we decided on a more classic style.”

Leila picked up her sandwich, bit into it, and savored the delicious corned beef and sauerkraut. Boom definitely knew his food. She'd been living in this town for almost a year and never tried this place.

For awhile the two women ate in companionable silence as the diner buzzed loud and lively.

After a sip of her iced tea she asked Noel, "What do you know about G.K.'s parents?"

Noel looked up from her plate, shocked. "His parents? Why?"

Leila grew more curious. "They're coming to see him."

"Coming here to New York?"

"Yeah, and G.K. seemed really freaked out."

Noel regarded her cautiously, "And he didn't tell you why?"

"Well he told me the basics but I was hoping I could get more details from you. It seemed like a touchy subject."

"Well I would tell you, but I think G.K would rather you to hear it from him."

There was a short lull in the conversation before Noel spoke up. “You never did tell me about your first date with G.K. And don’t leave anything out, I want all the particulars.”

Leila laughed, once again grabbing her sandwich, as she told Noel about the most perfect train wreck she had ever been on.

***

When the guys returned to the studio later that afternoon, the dancers had just finished another run-through of the routines for their upcoming performances. G.K. strode into the room looking for Leila, desperately needing her calming presence.

He'd had it out with Jin Yung at the radio station with Kai solidly in his corner.

Their manager was contrite but firm. "I understand how you both feel, but they are your parents Gi Kwang. In all good conscience, I cannot stop them from coming here."

"You and I both know," Kai said, "The only thing my uncle wants to do is cause trouble.”

Jin Yung sighed. "Perhaps your uncle has had a change of heart, he is within his rights to come and visit his family."

G.K. was not convinced. "My father disowned me. I don't see the logic of him flying all the way here if I'm no longer his son."

Jin Yung rubbed his forehead lightly, “You are his only son."

When they opened their mouths to protest, Jin Yung held up his hand to silence them. “Perhaps this will be the opportunity for you all to make amends. As your manager and the owner of your company it is my responsibility to help my artists not only musically but personally as well. You will see your father and mother and that is an order.” He’d said with finality.

Once he saw Leila beautifully frosted in perspiration, all thoughts of his father disappeared.  She was in those body-hugging dance shorts that did wonderfully arousing things between his legs. He cursed the few hours of rehearsal they had left, all he wanted to do was kidnap her back to the hotel room and get those shorts off in record time.

His eyes roamed over her possessively.

"Did you miss me," he purred teasingly.

Leila gave as good as she got. "I've been far too busy. Michael's got us working our butts off."

G.K. craned his neck around and winked. "And what a nice butt it is." He chuckled as she playfully batted his hands away, mindful that they were being watched.

Just then Michael called for their attention. "Okay y'all. The guys are back and we've got another hour and a half so let's do the damn thing! Partner up and take it from the top!"

***

Leila went back to G.K.'s hotel room. They held hands on the silent cab ride back. Though the contact reassured her, he seemed troubled and she was certain it had something to do with his parents.

After a long, hot and solitary shower, she met him in the living area wearing one of the hotel's luxurious fluffy bathrobes. He'd also showered but was dressed in sweats and a t-shirt.

He took her hand and led her to the couch where they sat facing each other.

"Are you all right G.K.?"

"No. But it's nothing to do with us.”

He sounded even less enthused than he had this morning, and that concerned her.

“G.K. what exactly happened between you and your parents?”

G.K. sighed, it’s not that he didn't want to tell her, but how did someone go about telling their African American girlfriend, or any girlfriend for that matter, that your father had disowned you because you didn't agree with his dislike of your cousin's partner
solely
because she was black. And that the aforementioned father, had tried, and almost succeeded at breaking them up.

How do you gently reveal that to someone you love?
He mused.

G.K. decided to start from the beginning. “My mother and father took Kai in when he was just a boy. His parent’s passed away and he came back to Korea to live with us.”

Leila sat silently as she watched him get lost in his thoughts. “When we were older he noticed our musical talents and began to have us audition for different labels in hopes that we would get signed. When we finally got into Z-Tune he came with us and signed on to be our full time manager.”

G.K. reached down and began to mindlessly pick at the fabric of the sofa as he continued, “He had always been pushy. But as we gained more success with T4L he became overbearing, demanding, and domineering.”

Leila didn’t understand why his group had put up with his treatment, and said as much to G.K.

He looked up at her and gave her a small smile. “Korea is a respectful culture, especially of our elders. And the entertainment industry there is much more restrictive by nature…it took us a long time to work up the courage to rebel I suppose.”

She nodded as he began speaking once more. “When Kai met Noel he became a completely different person. He became his own man, and my father didn’t appreciate that.” He paused, “Among other things.”

“What other things?” she asked.

“He was adamantly against Kai and Noel’s relationship; he didn’t like her at all. He went so far as to personally try and break them up actually.” He mumbled.

Leila's brow knotted in confusion, she couldn’t fathom why G.K.’s father seemed to hate Noel as much as he did. However, when she noticed the red flush that covered his skin, the reason, slapped her across the face. G.K. reddened even more in a combination of embarrassment and shame, as he tersely nodded his head at the unspoken question in her eyes.

Leila didn’t want to judge, but she couldn’t help but feel offended at the man’s small mindedness.

She gently placed her hand on his that fidgeted in his lap, "G.K. it’s okay..." "NO it’s not okay, he's my
father
.” He huffed.

G.K. suddenly pulled her tight against him. “I won't let him try and hurt you like he did Noel. Kai and I just won't be seeing him when he comes, it doesn't matter what Jin Yung says. He won’t ruin our happiness." He said forcefully.

She melted into his embrace but had to ask. "Did your mother feel the same way about Noel?"

"She never met her but I doubt she would. My mother, Minsoo, only cares if Kai and I are happy."

Leila sighed, drew in a deep breath. She'd known it wasn't going to be easy, but she'd never been a quitter. She pulled away to look deep into G.K.'s eyes.

"Thank you for being honest with me."

"I'm sorry Leila."

"For what?"

"That my father is a racist," He said bluntly.

She gave him a wry smile. "Well, no one’s family is perfect and you're not responsible for him. In fact, I'm proud of you for standing up with your cousin."
