Macie renewed
her exploration of his magnificent shaft, and acting on instinct she bent down
until she could wrap her lips around the head of his cock. A sharp tug to her
hair stopped her mid suck.

"Fuck,
Macie, stop. You have got to stop this."

She used her
teeth to graze his skin and swirled her tongue around his foreskin in answer,
and
Kaylom's
hips thrust up in a jerky, uncoordinated
move that told her how much she was getting to him. A rush of feminine power
made her bold, and she relaxed her jaw to enable him to slip in to the back of
her throat. Tiny spurts of his cum were her reward, and she swallowed around
his head, causing him to swear and jerk again. His second hand wrapped into her
hair, but instead of pulling her off, he held her head in place, and Macie
gladly relinquished control to his thrusting hips.

"Can't …
fuck … we shouldn't…"

Despite his
intermittent hoarse words he continued to fuck her mouth, and Macie hollowed
out her cheeks and went to work in earnest. Witnessing him
unravel
by her hands and lips on his shaft was the hottest thing ever, and she clenched
her thighs to relieve the resultant ache in her clit. She wanted nothing more
than to straddle him and impale herself on his dick, but the iron grip he had
on her hair made that impossible, so instead she hummed, and swallowed, and
worked his dick, until he shot his load down the back of her throat in thick
cords of cum. She swallowed every last drop and then proceeded to lick him
clean. His hold on her hair turned into a caress, and when she finally released
his softening cock he pulled her up his body and kissed her.

"Minx,
you're making it incredibly hard for me to do the honorable thing here."

She rolled her
eyes and stuck her tongue out at him.

"Fuck being
honorable. I want you. You want me. Who cares about anything else?" As she
said that she frowned at herself. Was that really her talking? Whatever
happened to not being a notch on a man's bed post? Macie was always sensible.
She had to be. Her disability made sure of that. You couldn't run off
half-cocked when you couldn't see what was coming your way, after all. She
grinned at her choice of words. Already
Kaylom's
cock
stirred back to life. She could feel his hardness poke against her hip, and she
marveled at his recovery time. Then again, he wasn't a normal human though was
he, if he even was human?

That thought
brought her up short, and she bit her lips hard enough to draw blood.

Kaylom
soothed the
sting away with his tongue, and his groan of need stoked her own desire.

"Fuck,
Macie, I shouldn't do this. It goes against all the rules, but I can't help
myself." He framed her face in his hands and proceeded to cover every inch
of her skin in kisses, until he'd urged her back on the bed. She gasped when he
grabbed her arms and pinned them high above her head. There was an audible
click, and then something sharp scraped along her neck.

Macie froze, and
Kaylom
swore and withdrew. Her bathroom door slammed
shut, and then her shower came on, and she blinked back tears. What in the
world had just happened?

Chapter Four

Kaylom
let the hot
water wash over his body and resisted the urge to smash his fist into the
tiles. Somehow he didn't think Macie would appreciate the expense of needing
her tiles replaced because he couldn't control his urges. Fuck it to
Athuron
and back, he'd almost bitten her. Even now his
fangs pricked his lips, and he could still taste that spot of blood he'd licked
off her lips.

It
would have been so easy. Every fiber of his being had urged him to drive his
incisors into her neck. To mark her as his and to cement the bond between them—a
bond that shouldn't exist, yet had done from the minute she'd asked him his
name all those years ago.

Kaylom
thumped his
head against the wall and screwed his eyes shut. He needed to get away, to put
distance between him and the woman who called him like the old sirens of
legend. She could never be what his soul told him she was. It wasn't possible.
The slide of the shower stall made him tense. He didn't dare open his eyes and
look. As it was his imagination filled the blanks in just fine.

Macie's
small hands slid up his back, and he let out a breath. Even that simple action
had his cock harden to the point of pain, and there was no chance in hell she
would miss his fangs. Maybe that's what was needed, though. Maybe to feel those
lethal protrusions would make her see sense.

If
she told him to leave, if she ran from him in terror it would tear his heart to
shreds, but it would keep her safe from him and his dark urges. She was human
and fragile, and even if by some miracle, the elders relaxed their rules, there
was no future for them.

Macie
deserved it all. She needed a nice normal husband she could take home to her
parents, and who would be able to give her children. He smiled despite his dark
thoughts. She would make a fantastic mother one day. There was a good reason
her practice was thriving. She was a natural with kids.

"
Kaylom
, what's wrong?" she asked, and he groaned as
she pressed her breasts into his back, and hugged him close.

"I
shouldn't be here, that's what's wrong. I'm a fucking
monster,
and my kind screw with humans all the time. You can't see us, so that we can
better fuck with your mind and bodies. We like nothing better than to have a
little human sport. To see you jump through hoops and writhe underneath us,
while we fuck your clueless brains out, and you think you’re just
dreaming."

He
grimaced at his crass words, but he had to drive her away, because he sure as
fuck didn't have the strength to just leave her.

Macie
tensed slightly, but she didn't let go of him, and he felt her nod into his
back.

"I
knew there had to be more of you, and I know not all of you are friendly."

She
took a step back when he roared and spun around.

"What
do you mean you know? Has some other
Athuron
been
sniffing around you, because I swear I'll—
"

Her
laugh interrupted his angry retort, and he glared at her. Her raven mass of
hair clung to her overgenerous curves, and he couldn't help but follow the
rivulets of water as they caressed her breasts, and then dropped along her long
legs. Even her bright red toenails turned him on for fuck's sake.

"You
think
this
is funny?" He grasped her hand and brought it up to his
mouth until she could feel his elongated canines. Heat rose in her cheeks, but
instead of screaming in terror as any sane person would have done, she moaned
and stepped closer to him. Tracing his fangs with her fingertips she looked a
picture of concentration, and even his gruff warning to be careful didn't deter
her.

A
heavy weight settled on his chest watching her innocent exploration of his
teeth and mouth.

"You're
not a vampire?" she asked.

Kaylom
snorted in
answer.

"No,
I'm not that, but my bite will change you nonetheless. It’s how my kind mates
for life. It goes against all the rules to bite a human, and I almost fucking
bit you back then. I can't … I won't do that."

Macie
blinked several times, and
Kaylom
switched the shower
off and opened the enclosure.

"Look,
this is not the place to discuss this. Seeing you all wet and naked like this
all I want to do is bend you over and take you right here against the wall like
some fucking animal."

Macie's
little mewl in answer had him jump out of the shower as though the hounds of
hell were after him, and she frowned when she seemed to notice his actions. He
wrapped a towel round his middle, swiped the moisture off the mirror and
grimaced at the sight of the seemingly floating towel. This right there was why
Athurons
could not wear clothes in this realm. It
would send the humans screaming for an exorcist.

Unfortunately
the mirror also granted him the perfect view of a naked Macie climbing out of
the shower, and he almost swallowed his tongue when she swung her leg out. The
action afforded him an unrivalled view of her puffy little cunt and the
feminine dew clinging to her nether lips. The shower had masked her scent
somewhat, but now he got the message loud and clear. She was wet for him, and
he cursed himself all kinds of a fool for not taking her up on her silent
offer. To lose
himself
balls deep in her soft body
would surely be worth any possible punishment.

Before
he could make up his mind one way or the other, she'd pulled her bathrobe over
her shoulders and hid her body from view.

She
glanced in his direction, and he wondered at the delicate blush that stained
her cheek bones, until she pulled the toilet seat up, and the penny dropped.

"Are
you going to stand there and watch me pee, or are you going to give me some
privacy?"

He
laughed, affection making his words come out choked.

"All
that running water, huh."

He
ducked the slipper she threw in his direction and grinned at her.

"No
need to get violent. I'll rustle us up some breakfast."

"Good,
and then you can explain why you seem so determined to scare me away. I don’t
believe the fact that you're some kind of monster, for one second. If you were
you'd have had ample time to simply fuck me like some animal as you put it.
The thought of which, by the way, sounds mighty appealing to
me."
She smiled at his sharp indrawn breath, and continued.
"So, by all means explain to me why other people can’t see you, and what
your kind is really doing here, but you won't succeed in scaring me off. I know
you,
Kaylom
. We grew up together, remember, and
whilst I don't know what happened to you in the fifteen years since I last saw
you, I do know that actions speak louder than words. You didn't have to save me
from those thugs, and I'd have just about let you do anything to me last night
and this morning when I woke up. If those are the actions of a monster, then
just fucking
call
me Santa Claus."

"No
need to swear, munchkin. What would your mother say?" he asked and ducked
the other flying slipper.

"My
mother would say sometimes swearing is justified. Now get out."

She
stuck her tongue out at him for good measure and gestured toward the door.
Chuckling in wonder at her grit, he took the hint and went in search of some
food in her small kitchen.

Macie
breathed a sigh of relief when the bathroom door shut, and she sank onto the
toilet seat in relief. As brave as she made out to be, his revelation had
shocked her. Were it not for her instinctive knowledge that he would never harm
her, she would indeed have run screaming for the hills. Well, maybe more a
quick, hands outstretched shuffle, as running would not have been the best
move, but still. How she knew he wouldn't harm her, she couldn’t even begin to
understand, but Macie's blindness had given her highly developed senses, and
she had learnt long ago to trust in them. It was why she hadn't screamed for
her parents when
Kaylom
had first appeared in her
bedroom back then. Of course she hadn't known then that only she could sense
him, but she'd felt an instant connection to him in a way she'd never
experienced since. And that had to mean something.

Even
with her ill-advised teenage tryst with the scumbag, she'd known deep down that
he wasn't right for her, but she hadn't known what to do with this surly
version of a teenager
Kaylom
had become. Nor had she
known what to do about her own feelings. It had seemed simpler to send him
away.

It
might well prove simpler this time, but she was a grown woman now with needs
and desires, and the thought of losing him again made breathing difficult. With
the benefit of hindsight she realized that she had fallen in love with
Kaylom
a long time ago, and she would do everything in her
power to ensure that love had a chance.

Surely
he must feel more for her than simple lust? He'd already shown himself to be
far more considerate of her needs and feelings than any of her ex-lovers had
been. Not that she had many to compare him to, but that wasn't the point.

Macie
sighed, saw to her bladder's urgent demands, and having washed her hands, and
brushed her teeth she followed the delicious aroma of coffee that assaulted her
nose the minute she opened the bathroom door.

She
stopped in the open doorway to her kitchen when she heard the sizzle of the
frying pan. There wasn't enough room to swing the proverbial cat in her tiny
kitchen, and with a man of
Kaylom's
size cooking at
the stove, it was probably wisest to stay out of the way. Once again she wished
she could see him.

Judging by the smells
he was cooking bacon, and toast, maybe eggs, too, and her tummy rumbled.
