"Yeah, I—"

But he didn't get to finish his thought as Benjamin shoved it inside him. The mix of pain and pleasure shot through Jake so hard, he thought he'd blacked out for a sec.

"You alright?" Benjamin said. "Huh?"

"Fuck, yeah," Jake said, so exhausted he couldn't speak. But he needed more, all of it. He wanted to be punished, to be treated like the bad boy he was; the boy who deserved all Benjamin could give him for him keeping his dirty, bad secret from him. It would likely be the last time they would fuck, after he told him the secret so he wanted to take it good and strong.

As if sensing it, Benjamin lodged into him, each thrust harder and faster. The slapping sounds against his wet cheeks rivaled the ocean's. He pulled Jake's head back and slipped fingers in and out of Jake's wet mouth.

"Give it to me," Jake said. "Fucking give it to me hard."

"You want it hard? Huh? You want it fucking hard?"

The angle pressed against Jake's prostate shot pleasure inside him he didn't even think was possible.

Jake reached for his cock, needing to jerk off but Benjamin smacked it away. "That's my cock. My job. Mine."

And with that, his hand gripped Jake's cock, sliding up and down his stem. Good and stiff, beating him off until Jake couldn't take anymore. Streams of cream shot out of him so hard, his balls would hurt for days, but it was worth it. God, was it worth it.

He groaned a reverberating sound only a powerful man can make. "Shit. I'm gonna cum."

"Cum on me. Please, give me your milk," Jake begged.

Benjamin sank his teeth into the side of Jake's shoulder, groaning as he shot his first load all over Jake's back. The hot juice against his skin felt like heaven.

Benjamin swiped the cum off his back and stuck it in Jake's mouth. "Suck on it."

"Oh, fuck," Jake said. It tasted better than he imagined it would. The thought of sucking it off his fingers, enjoying this man, his man's juice only made him want to cum again, if he could. But Benjamin had worn him out.

The two men collapsed in the sand, panting for breath. The soft dry pebbles were exactly what Jake needed to cushion himself from the impact of the pounding he received.

Jake stared up against the blue sky. Dark clouds loomed from the ocean and he was reminded of the bad news he had to share.

“Shit that was good. I’ve never wanted to do that with anyone. But you ... and that ass. Hot damn. Next time, I’m going to fuck you with my cock. Hope you can go a few rounds. I stay hard for a long time.”

And though he couldn’t imagine how amazing that would be, he had to say it.

"Benjamin," Jake said as Benjamin's hand squeezed his.

"Yeah, babe?"

Jake breathed out the secret: "I'm your step-brother."

CHAPTER 20

Jake couldn't really blame Benjamin for his response. He had lied to him and kept a secret that was shocking and hurtful. Jake started out just not wanting to hurt Benjamin's feelings and now it was more about not losing what they had.

Benjamin was right and Jake did feel a connection with him that he never had before and it was more than just infatuation, more than just lust, more than just mind-blowing sex, it was much deeper than that.

The truth was, Jake had feelings, real feelings for him. And he knew it was wrong, everyone in the world said it was wrong, but he couldn't help how he felt. Now he'd ruined everything.

It'd been days since he'd heard from Benjamin. He could still see that look of shock, then hurt on his step-brother's face as he explained that he wasn't joking when he said they were step-siblings.

When he explained in detail how they shared a father, how it started out just as a way to learn self-defense and grew into so much more, it wasn't enough to soothe the hurt he saw on Benjamin's face nor to erase the heaviness of guilt that clung to him like a bad stench.

The next few days were a flurry. He hardly remembered going to school, or visiting Alberto, but he knew that he did. His mind was only on one thing and one thing only: Benjamin.

"Earth to Jake," his sister said, knocking on his head.

"Huh?" Jake said, waking from his daydream.

"I said, will you please remember to pay the cable bill for me before Dad comes home? Last thing I need is him bitching at me. I've got to go to that corporate dinner thing. How do I look?" she said turning around. Her boobs being kept in place but for how long, he didn't know.

"Ravishing," Jake smiled.

"Smartass," she said, leaving a giant kiss mark on his cheek before heading toward the door. "Love ya. Don't forget."

"I won't." Jake assured her. Truth was, he wanted to be left alone and couldn't wait for her to leave. He turned off his phone for the last two days. He wanted to block out the world. The house was empty without her. His father left for a few days to pick up some things for the cabinet shop he worked at.

Jake was left with nothing but the memories of his childhood, painful as they were. Somehow he deserved to be imprisoned in the house with the screams and the tears of the ghosts of his past. Somehow it barely justified what pain he must have caused Benjamin by not being truthful, by tricking him into continuing their budding relationship.

His mind swirled with all that had occurred. He felt the guilt about Alberto, with the trouble he'd caused by not being brave enough to stand up to the bully. It stabbed him with thoughts of how he wasn’t proud of who he was and worse yet, how he hadn’t told Benjamin. Any mental punishment he was giving himself barely scratched the surface of what he deserved.

He didn't even have the heart to show up today at the gym like he was supposed to. Benjamin wouldn’t want to see his face anyway, not after what he did. Jake looked at the time on the clock. He was a good two hours late, not that Benjamin was waiting for him or anything.

He was on his way down the hall to his bedroom where he could lock himself inside and drown himself in music, when there was a knock at the door. Had his sister forgotten her keys again? Just when he thought he could get some peace.

He thought about not answering the door, just pretending he was asleep. But then he heard it, that booming, masculine strong familiar voice, clear as day, "Jake?"

It was Benjamin and his throat went instantly dry. Seeing the man again after he thought he never would gave him a mixture of relief and anxiety.

"Jake, I know you're in there," he said, rapping on the door's window. Jake trudged forward, unlocking the door and cracking it open.

"Hey," Benjamin said, pushing his way inside. The sight of the handsome man froze his heart. He forced himself to forget about all they shared together, to pretend he was a stranger, but it was impossible. "You didn't show up."

The scolding remarks were darts and he wasn’t sure he could handle them, though well deserved. "Oh, I

wasn't feeling so well."

Benjamin’s eyes narrowed. "Bullshit. I've been trying to reach you for two days."

"You have?" Jake said, his heart fluttering for a second. He shouldn’t have turned his phone off for so long. He just couldn’t face the world. More accurately, he couldn’t face Benjamin and yet, here he was before him.

"I thought something happened to you," Benjamin said. His warning was heavy, covering a sensitive heart. "Don't do that to me again."

Jake nodded. The two men stood a distance apart, cushioned by silence.

"So ..." Jake said. He flashed a nervous smile.

"So ..." Benjamin repeated. His eyes came up from the floor, those gorgeous crystal blue eyes that still made Jake’s heart flip-flop. "This is the place? Where you grew up, I mean?"

Jake’s heart pounded. They avoided the conversation they really needed to have. The distance between them couldn’t have been further and the silences couldn’t have been longer. "Yep."

"And dad, he ... still lives here?" His eyes followed every crevice of the kitchen, looking for evidence of a childhood he missed out on.

Jake nodded. "Yeah, he's ... out of town."

"Cool," Benjamin said, but his tone indicated that it was anything but cool. “And he’s good? Health wise?”

“He’s got his heart thing but he’s got medicine for that.”

“Cool ...”

"I ... uh ..." Jake didn't even know where to begin. His mind went in circles and being in the presence of this attractive man wasn’t making it any easier. Why did he have to look so good in that tight-fitting button-down shirt? Why did his thighs and ass have to fit so well in those denims?

Benjamin's eyes met his. He stepped forward, closing the gap between the two. "Yes?"

Jake took a deep breath. He’d wanted to have this conversation ever since he told Benjamin what he did, but he just wasn’t exactly prepared to say it. "I should have been honest with you."

"Really?" Benjamin said, sarcastically. He stuffed his hands in his pockets and spread his feet apart as if he were facing a stubborn bull head-on. "And what else?"

“Did I ...?” Jake’s eyes watered no matter how much he tried to hold the tears back. “... hurt you?”

“What do you think?”

Jake exhaled. He felt like shit.

“Look man, I’m not the type of dude who tells his feelings and shit. I’ve been through a lot of shit in my life, a lot.  Of course, I was surprised. I mean, I felt ... I still feel a connection with you, that’s why I came back to see if you were alright but ... I don’t like secrets. I don’t like lies. I don’t like hiding shit. Especially from people I care about.”

“So, what do we do now? Do you think we can ... start over again?”

Benjamin crossed his arms. “I’m here, aren’t I?”

He gave him that sexy side smile he had and it made Jake’s heart flip-flop. “I just don’t get why you didn’t feel like you couldn’t have told me earlier, Jake.”

This was the hard part. The part he’d been anticipating yet regretting all along.  He couldn’t breathe until he confessed this. "I should have ... the thing is ... Benjamin, I've never felt like this about anyone before, not even with Alberto—"

Benjamin’s eyes locked with Jake’s, making him weak in the knees. He needed to look away, just for now, just until he could gather his thoughts.

"Jake—"

His voice strengthened. This was important, if he didn’t say it now, he never could. "No, let me finish. And when I'm around you, I just want to be around you more."

Benjamin moved closer to him and the scent and heat of his body was getting Jake hard. He had to push those thoughts out of his mind as it was only making a confusing situation even more confusing. "Jake—"

Jake had to get it all out. He knew he was rambling, but how can you put into words what you’re feeling when you’ve never really felt it with anyone else before? "And, I was afraid of losing you. I can't imagine life without you and—"

"Jake," he said, stepping into his personal space. "Shh. One step at a time, okay? It’s going to take me awhile to build up that trust again. I care for you, I do. We can be cool ... friends ... we are step-brothers, right?”

Jake nodded. Even though it was best, he hated the idea of just being friends. “It’s just ... "

Benjamin put his hands on either side of his shoulders. God, he’d missed this man’s touch. The way his eyes danced when he looked in his. "Jake, I—"

But he never got to finish his thought as the door opened and Genie stepped in, a flustered mess, digging through her purse. "Would you believe I forgot my phone?"

The two men stepped apart, looking like deer in headlights.

"Oh," Genie said, her eyes widening, a smirk spreading across her face. "Who's this?"

Jake blushed. "Um, Genie. This is

this is..."

"Pleasure to meet you," Benjamin said, offering his hand. Strong and confident as he was, Jake had gotten to know Benjamin well enough to tell that he was nervous. He couldn’t blame him. It wasn’t just about being caught, he was meeting his step-sister for the first time.

"Oh," she said with a smile. "And you are?"

Fuck. What to do? What to do?
"That's Sam ..." Jake offered, stepping forward.

"Oh, Sam!" she said, giving Jake a mischievous look and immediately making Jake wish he hadn't said what he had. "Heard a lot about you."

"I am? I mean, you have?" Benjamin said looking as confused as he sounded.

He cleared his throat. "We should probably get going," Jake said, nudging him forward.

"Well, don't go on my part. I'm just going to grab my phone and leave. It was a pleasure to meet you

B-Sam!" She giggled, shooting Jake a snort as she trailed off.

"What was that all about?" Benjamin asked. "B-Sam?"

Jake shook his head and sighed with relief.

"It's a long story," he said as quiet as he could. "Do you think we could get out of here?"
