When I asked David Bowie if he liked kids he said no. Then I said “but you were a child once” and he replied, “No, I was born a Rock God.” He was hilarious.

I would always run into my friend Lauren Bacall on the streets of New York. Once I told her about my problems with Bill and she saltily replied, “Men, fuck ’em.” What a gal!

. I used this as my holiday card one year with the caption “Do You Hear What I Hear?”

I never imagined myself as a desperate housewife but the creator of the series, Marc Cherry, did and I had a blast working with Felicity Huffman and Doug Savant on the show.

Not only is Jeff Daniels a brilliant comedic actor he also has a great talent for drama. I think he deserved an Emmy nomination for his work on Hallmark Hall of Fame’s
