In the Moment: Part One (5 page)

I clenched my eyes closed in embarrassment. I had never planned on telling him half of what had just spilled. Let alone when his cock was stretching my underused pussy.

“Look at me,” he demanded.

Slowly, I opened my eyes, feeling my cheeks burn knowing they were surely pink. His hips rocked backward before pushing deep again.

“I’ve thought about you as well. I’m not a simple man. I never claimed to be. There is always more than meets the eye. While I may have acted and appeared to have slept with half the bar flies that show up, I haven’t. I’ll let them give me head, yes. There is only one person I’ve fucked in months. I’ve been waiting for you, wanting you. Sometimes watching you simply make drinks, laughing with people, made me so hard I had to get off. So while some nameless, faceless broad sucked me off, I was thinking about you. It’s always been you.”

“Oh yeah. Love at first sight?” I couldn’t help but laugh. I didn’t think it was possible. Love.
Especially
love at first sight.

“No, lust. I’ve lusted for you every day since I first laid eyes on you. Something about you made me get all twisted up. I found I couldn’t get it up for the sleezy, easy women anymore. They are all I had for so long, and in struts this beautiful woman who turns every head in the place, yet gives no one more attention than the next. That is what got me.” He continued thrusting into me at a slow, easy pace. It was certainly the strangest sex I’d ever had.  Conversation mixed with lust, sweat and too many deep thoughts for me to be comfortable.

Wrapping my legs around his waist, I urged him to speed up, but he slowly shook his head and used his strength to keep the pace leisurely.

“Stop teasing me and fuck me. I don’t want all this. Don’t make it more complicated than it really is.” I didn’t sleep around, but I certainly didn’t want these heavy emotions confessed when they felt fake because he was in the process of screwing me.

“Oh, is that all I am to you? I’ve wanted you and held out for you, but you are simply using me?” he asked with shock clear in his voice. “You accuse me of being the user, but when I try to pour my emotions out to you, you tell me all you want is a quick fuck. Well, honey, I can do that. Just hold on for the ride.”

The smiling, teasing Ace was gone. Instead, I got a scowling, beast who moved from the slow, careful rhythm to a brutal, hard thrusting. His eyes were no longer clear and focused on mine, but clouded and hard. Obviously, I’d said the completely wrong thing, but it was how I felt.

Pulling out of me, he moved to stand up before roughly grabbing one of my thighs and turning me on the bed. My heels rested on his shoulders as his cock slid deep in me again. Not giving me a second to adjust to the new angle, he picked up the same quick pace, and I groaned as he pegged my g-spot repeatedly. His fingers dug into my hips, and I dug my nails into his forearms as he pulled nearly all the way out before slamming back into me. I wish I could say it didn’t feel good. I felt like it was no longer Ace I was with, but a different, meaner version of him. Yet, with each thrust and jab into me, I grew closer and closer to release.

“Yes.” Ace ground out through clenched lips. His eyes were closed as he held me tight enough it hurt and would leave marks. Each thrust made me feel cheaper than the one before it. I felt used. Just another notch instead of something special finally acquired as I had felt earlier. Then I remembered the words he’d spoken before I gave him the idea he was nothing special to me. It was my fault that I had ruined what could’ve been something special by trying to protect my heart.

Pushing up on one arm, I cupped his cheek with the other hand. His eyes opened automatically meeting mine. Slowly I lowered myself back down, and he followed, letting me continue to hold one side of his face. His thrusting slowed as well.

“That’s not how I meant it to come out. I’m sorry,” I confessed as my other hand lifted to cup his other cheek.

“No, I’m sorry.” He once again lowered his forehead to mine for a moment before meeting my lips again for a tender kiss. “You are my dream.”

“Well, your dream is about to come so don’t stop.” I gasped. Looking into his eyes that were covered with a layer of unexpected sheen was all it took to make me step over the final ledge as my orgasm crashed over me. I struggled to keep my eyes open so he could see each and every pleasure filled expression, but I lost the battle when it became too much.

“Alicia!” Ace yelled out louder than I’d ever heard him be as he thrust one final, hard time into me followed by short, erratic pumps as he too found his release. His shivering body was a shocking weight when he fell onto me. Long moments passed as I tried to breathe shallowly. Finally I shoved against his shoulder, and he rolled to the side.

“You are heavy.” I moaned, gasping for breath now that my lungs could fully expand.

“That is what you have to say after all that? Give me ten minutes, and I’ll make sure you have something much different to say when I’m finished.” Ace reached down and yanked the rubber off his dick and tossed it over the side of the bed. He had his eyes closed but responded to an unasked question. “I’ll clean it up later. It is just uncomfortable to leave on.”

There was a peaceful feeling that settled between us before he rolled to his side and looked down at me.

“You are absolutely the most confusing woman I’ve ever been with.” He shook his head and grimaced.

“Yeah, well, so are you.”

“First off I’m not a woman and don’t ever say that again. I put it all on the line for you and you stomped all over me. How did you think I would react?” Ace gave me a look that made it clear he was expecting an answer.

“I don’t know. I thought you were a player. Then I thought you were gay. And then you showed up at my place. I was confused. You are confusing. I don’t know what you want. One minute it’s me, the next it’s a whore, and then it’s a man. I don’t know!” I threw my hands up in the air in frustration. “You make it seem like I’m the only one who doesn’t have everything planned out here.”

“Oh, I have a plan. You just need to get on board with it.” Ace gave me one of his rare, true smiles that simply melted every part of me.

“Are you going to explain it to me?” I asked as I lifted an eyebrow in question.

“I’m not sure you’ll agree to it right off the bat,” he confessed.

“Maybe I will. Why don’t you try me?” I pushed him so I could straddle his waist.

“I want to add someone else to our relationship,” Ace said the absolutely last thing I expected to leave his lips.

“Uh…”

“Just trust me. You and Adam will get along perfectly.” Ace explained, resting his hands on my thighs as his penis hardened under me.

“Adam?” I asked surprised.

“Yes, Adam.”

“I don’t think so.” I squirmed off his lap and ran from the room as fast thoughts sped through my mind.
