I realize even more that I should not have come back for Destiny long ago. If I ever loved her like I now I do, then I should have let her live life without me. Without all of this!

“I don’t hurt women! I bring them clothes”

Viktor moved from his country with the same hopes of any Immigrant, to live a better life for himself, and his mother. So he understands my lecture, just caught up with the wrong people. We have something in common.

“I’m a scapegoat but so are you. You are responsible for this torture and any murders, anything bad that happens to these people is also on you. Do you know what this means? A long time in jail for you, Buddy, especially if the crew that you call your friends bring up your name to the police. The woman that we are looking for, her father is the head of the sheriff's office so you better think twice before trying to turn us over to Paul and his crew. They are going down, every last one of them, and you too.”

Viktor doesn’t like the idea of being stuck in  jail for the rest of his life. He isn’t so scary, I feel sorry for the guy, almost. We all make mistakes, and it’s not too late for him to fix this and do the right thing.

Thankfully we finally reach the warehouse again. Dennis might be killed by now!

“Ah! We have been expecting you, haven’t we?” The mob boss refers to Dennis as a hillbilly gunman holds him at gunpoint with a shot gun.

“Serves you right for being stupid, D!” Ragging on him, Viktor remains my hostage, and I convince them that the secret passage was found only by chance during my getaway attempt.

“Shouldn’t have jumped right into the lion’s den. Kill him! I should have known he’s a traitor anyway since he knew this place so well,” I refer back to Dennis.

Four gunmen surround just the three of us, and they will shoot to kill. I have a reason to be here, a family to live for, so who has more guts?

Dennis jumps up and grabs the closest gun man’s arm then shoots his partner from across the room. Viktor swipes Lucia and shoves my body out of the way. Viktor then shoots the third gunman dead and kicks his weapon over towards me before holding the mob boss captive. Dennis and I exchange nods of approval with him.

Viktor takes care of the mob boss by tying him up. “Go, I take care of Manny.”

Tapping  his hulk shoulders we then begin searching for Destiny and any other threats.

“You remembered?”

Dennis recalls, “Of course, tenth-grade paintball trip. Each number of times you call my name out by “D” is the number of enemies closing in. It’s our team classic!”

“Yeah, we make a pretty great team,” I declare. “Enough of the mushy stuff, let’s get my sister out of this shit hole!”

After what feels like asking a hundred questions, Dennis ensures me that abuse has not been his intention here.

“Then what
is?

“There was this girl. We met online then dated for a while, and she introduced me to the kink lifestyle and this business. I’m an actor, a porn star not a rapist! Anyone I’ve fucked has given me their consent. There is just too much at stake to lose, and no one was hurt unless it was whipping hot torture, I swear! Completely consensual. I had no idea about any of this crap! I just role play and direct. You know, like costume, blow jobs, cream pies…”

“Okay, I don’t need to hear about your sausage fests!” I exclaim.

He ensures, “The only fest I’m having is with those British blonde beauty twins over there.”

If this was real life and not rehearsed, then I’d surely admit that he’s definitely got some game. Alright, maybe I’ll admit it.

“Turns out I’m pretty good, at directing,” he taunts.

I will never look at him in his security uniform the same way again. The scene set-ups in the rooms at least look professional and clean, thanks to Dennis practically running most of it.

A faint voice calls from below us, “Sebastian? Is that you?” It's Destiny!

Instantly my foot smashes through the floorboards not wasting any time to save her life as if it’s my own. My hands grab her face, and my lips taste hers. Feeling like I’m seeing her for the first time, I hold Destiny’s cold body close to mine. It's as if she’s come back from the dead and letting her go will make her disappear forever. Her brittle hands are dirty, hair is not brushed and I can sense a newly broken soul, yet she couldn’t be any more beautiful. A set of earrings in her ears are missing its match. I want to hug her tight and fix her. We are two broken people who need each other more than ever. Nobody has ever loved me like she does; her weakness is my strength. She is mine.

Destiny’s weak hands grasp around my neck as her lips fight to stay with every kiss. “Sebastian!”

“Isabella!” Dennis cries. “What the fuck did they do to you, Baby?”

Her cheeks are blushed from her warm skin. Looks like Destiny mothered her to keep her alive.

Dennis and I carry the girls and hurry the hell out of here clearing out the building as we leave.

Viktor and Manny are nowhere to be seen. “Let's go, we will find them later,” Dennis exclaims before he places Isabella in the back seat then jumps in and caresses her into his arms. The Porsche is gone.

Enjoying taking this green sexy bitch from behind the wheel I decide to make one more quick stop to the cabin. “Wait here!”

The cabin is still empty but some torture weapons have been taken. I rustle through papers that have are thrown all over the floor and pick up a silver watch lost within the pile. Somebody had paid a lot of money for this and it isn't hard to guess where the money came from. Too bad they didn't notice what they misplaced. I put the watch in my pocket and pour gasoline around the entire area and light a piece of paper with a match found near a candle prop. Hauling my ass out of there so fast I make it back inside of the car just in time to beat the big explosion of hot flames.

I look back into the mirror while adjusting it and spin off before the second blast, “Burn Mother Fucker!”

NINE

“Tick tock, the time is almost up and then you're mine,” I remember Drew tapping against his watch beside my head.

Nobody hears my cries for help even if I want them to. So loud inside my head, thoughts drown in screams that aren’t even mine. I apply lipstick on my glossed lips then wear a pretty smile on my face like a good girl should, right? Sebastian tries, he really does, every day. I know that he truly loves me, so why do I feel so invisible? Dyeing my hair lighter for a little change and scrubbing off the filth of their touch still lingering on my skin, I then throw out my ripped bra with the last of the shredded clothes shoved under my bed. Waking up every day is a battle, but one that I am more than willing to challenge.

Sebastian waits for me with breakfast, “Here’s a coffee to keep you warm, my beautiful Mami.” Breakfast is just one of many things that he is good at.

My broken smile giggles at his attempt to create a fancy heart with whip cream, the same stuff that we enjoy licking off of each other.

Sebastian laughs, “What?” His hands hug my waist. “Okay, so it was a sad attempt. But I tried, that’s all that matters right?” The cutest grin lights up on his face and kisses my sweet frosted lips.

His hands slide up and grab my arms, but my body flinches and pulls away.

“Did you make one for me too, Sebastian?” Olivia interrupts.

“I sure did!”

“Hey! Are you okay?” Sebastian worries once Olivia leaves.

“Yeah. I’m fine. Just tired didn’t get much sleep is all.” I assure him. “Thanks for the coffee!” My lips peck his.

The hot summer air soon blows Autumn’s falling leaves around in a cool breeze. The thought of
their
blood literally on my hands cross my mind now and then. A short time had passed that felt like an eternity. My anxiety and PTSD aren’t getting any better, but worse. Making a call to Paul isn’t easy. He has what can make this all go away, and I’ll feel numb, even if it’s just for a little while. I don’t want to follow into my mother’s footsteps, so we haven’t yet met up, nor have I followed through with taking any drugs, especially because of Olivia. She is my strength every day because just getting out of bed seems impossible most days. It doesn’t matter how hard my anyone tries, my daughter has been my only real ambition, her eyes are my only look into a window of what is real anymore. She’s so young and doesn’t even know how many times she has saved me from taking my own life. Nobody will ever know.

On my way to work, Paul and I finally meet up at the house my mother rented from him. On the table is a packaged kilo of cocaine and one bullet.

“I take it that you’re here for one of these, and I don’t suppose that it’s for this one,” he exclaims sliding the package across the table.

“So this is where you've been hiding? Where's Drew? I warned you both, you stupid fuck if you touch me again or ever come near me I would kill you!”

“You can have a new life,” he cackles like he thinks this is a fucking joke! He will be the last one laughing.

“Just like you promised Isabella and the other girls including my mother, right? And how Johnny promised Carla?”

A voice crashes in, “Destiny! Put the gun down, Darlin’.”

“Daddy I have to!” Tears roll down my straight face.

“No, you don’t, give me the gun and get the hell outta here! Now!”

Following my father’s orders, I run and sit in the front seat of my car staring in disbelief. My hands smash against the steering wheel, “Fuck! Shit! Fuck!”

Bang! Bang!

My heart jumps out of my chest leaving my body motionless.

“Where did you get this gun?” Daddy peers into my window with a puzzling look on his face.

“I -”

“It doesn’t belong to you or your mother.” He points to the special markings on Johnny’s gun.

“I kept it after Sebastian showed up at my place to give it to me.”

Sigh,
“I called this in. A suspicious call came through at the station, so I came here to check it out. A man aimed
this
gun towards my way, so I shot at him, but he escaped out of the back door so fast and left it behind. Then, I fired at Paul after his first shot. That’s what happened here today, and it’s all they need to know. Go home.” My father kisses my forehead.

It's obvious that my father had fired two shots at Paul but sigh of relief fell over me just knowing that he isn't going to be a problem anymore. I drive off before sirens catch up to the scene.

After work, the rush becomes overwhelming. Still having a bit of time before Olivia needs to be picked up from school, I take advantage of Sebastian lying across the couch in his white muscle shirt. So tempting! Immediately throwing my purse, I jump on top of his ripped body and straddle him. As our mouths crash into waves of passion his dick grows hard between my thighs.

“Wow! What has gotten into you, Mami?” His voice groans deep as the strength in his hands skim my body tight then pull at my bra before taking off my shirt.

“I- Sebastian-” Ashamed, my hands cross over and cover a big scar carved in my stomach but he grabs them and moves them away.

“My God, you’re so beautiful!” Sebastian kisses my newest imperfection then smothers his face between my breasts, his mouth is patient and devours each nipple. “Not that I’m complaining,” he moans, “But holy fuck!”

My hands massage his abs as I rub against his hard cock, “I know, it’s been awhile, I’m sorry. But I had a great day at work, and I realized more than ever how much I love you, how much I need you. And seeing you sitting here while there is still time to have to ourselves makes me so hot!”

Sebastian’s growl vibrates against my breasts making my clit moisten against his pulsating shaft. Letting out a loud squeal that descends into a deep moan, my knees lift letting him slip inside of me. He thrusts roughly making me beg for more.  It isn’t just sex; we make love which is not something that I feel with just anyone. I’ve tried.

Sebastian and I can’t get enough of each other! He throws me over onto my back, spreads my folds then tastes every ridge making me cum before flipping me onto my stomach. Sebastian holds my tender legs then penetrates deeper and faster until we cum together but he still doesn’t stop until my cell phone alarm goes off. I haven’t felt this happy in so long, but I’m finally feeling more like myself again.

A call from Dennis comes through. The choice of his new second career definitely isn’t
my
first choice, but it also isn’t much of my business I suppose either. How else was he able to afford his sweet ride, and as long as nobody gets hurt under his control then who am I to judge?

A visit is well overdue with Dennis and his new fiancée, Isabella. “She would love to help cook dinner tonight and bond with my fave girls.”

News sure travels fast. He’s already heard about what happened today at Paul’s and wants to make sure that I’m alright.

“Yeah, luckily I wasn’t there...”

“... Yeah, that’s a good thing.” But he isn’t fooled.

The taste of revenge has been rushing through my veins for such a long time. The urge is rather more of a craving now than ever,, and there is no turning back. I am not a victim or just a survivor anymore, but a conqueror.

Bing. Bing.

A text message interrupts my deep thoughts. It’s from Viktor who says that he has a package for us

Sebastian and I pull up to the parking lot where we had our picnic dinner and movie date. Viktor is standing by a silver Mercedes with tinted windows. As we approach, he opens the door to reveal the mob boss beaten and tied to the steering wheel Sebastian loads Lucia but I hand him Johnny's gun instead that has been hidden at home. He aims the barrel against Manny’s head as Viktor unties the rope

“Where are the others?” Sebastian demands.

Manny spits on us, “Go ahead and shoot. I’m already dead and so are all of you!” he promises.

Taking off my shirt with his saliva I throw it into the car, “Take a good look because this is the last time that you’ll ever see a woman’s body.” I point to the large scar across my stomach then continue before putting on a new shirt, “Because you’ll never hurt anybody ever again.”

My mark is a reminder of the physical pain that I had to endure; the emotional pain is more invisible. “This is just the beginning!”

Manny is handed the loaded gun. He makes the choice to pull the trigger and take his own life. Viktor pours gasoline in and around the car then Sebastian hands me a lit match. The world is tumbling down on me like an avalanche making it harder to breathe.
Am I way over my head on this?
Taking a deep breath, my fingers flick the flame at the sick son of a bitch!

Where does it end, here?
Drew and Johnny are still alive out there somewhere! Thinking of everything and all of the lives that we saved makes it easier to walk away from the combustion behind us with a smile on my face. Whatever choices are made now, I know my intuition will lead me.
